I came here for the first time and was not disappointed. I heard that they were opening one close to Miami so I'm happy about that. This was really nice. We came to bring the kids to hang out and have a good time. I thought it was going to be ridiculously packed but it was ok. We sat at a table while our older kids (teens) went to go golf. I was a big fan of ordering on the phone. When we sat down the waitress came and explained the process. She brought us waters and we ordered on the phone. I paid Apple Pay which I liked. The food came out super fast and was actually very good. The drink selection was fantastic'! Their margaritas were super good. They also had a nice beer selection. We went downstairs after to watch the kids and have one more drink. The kids had a blast and then played some foosball near where we were. The ambiance was chill and they had many tvs up with different sport games on. On the way out we were able to grab some ice cream. So basically a whole experience. Totally worth coming here on a day off. With or without kids.

Took my angel out here for meeting her AR Goal and man did we have fun! We went through every hole and had a great time. Food was amazing and I like that you can order everything through your phone. Staff are very helpful and even bring drinks out to you to every hole if you order them. Would recommend even to people who do not play golf

    course is well maintained.

Had a great time! Great atmosphere, really nice set up. The system in which you order is different but in a good way. Went to play putt putt ... it can get a bit crowded but still fun. Ordering drinks while playing was a def plus.

I loved this putt putt experience! This was a very interesting take on it, where it feels like a true putting experience on the course. Similar to top golf where there is food and beverage available for purchase. I like how much you get for your money. The courses are long - and you are able to do both of them however many times you want! The bartenders were very nice and they can even bring drinks to you on the course if you scan the QR codes. I had fun and would go back. It was nice to go in the evening when it was cool outside.

We had a blast!! To address the criticisms: - yes there's no shade. Trees are young - yes it gets crowded at night - yes restroom capacity is limited - yes they need another set of cup holders around the green so you don't have to walk back to every tee! - yes a few more garbage cans would help - having NO air conditioning in the dining & bar areas is a big miss. Fans are nice but blowing 90 degree air doesn't help much. We were there in the late afternoon so we missed the crowds - an issue which they need to address in a group size limit - just break up groups larger than 6 or 8 into smaller sets! The Red course was the more difficult (the more child friendly is the Black course) and being all adults we went that route. Tough course! Fun! The place sports three bars - one rooftop, one main dining area and a tiki bar in the center of the course (it was not open yet). We ordered drinks to start, the had another round delivered on course - ordered via the app After our round we headed to the restaurant & main bar for an early dinner. Food was good bar fare...an upside surprise. We'll be back.

Came here for the Sarasota PopStroke Tournament in May with my boyfriend. The red course is pretty tough and few opportunities to get hole in ones. Ample seating. There's an upstairs area, but it was closed for most of the day, there's not much shade up there anyways. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the smash burger the most. It's the perfect small size burger for me. If extra hungry you can get a double. The fries were the most disappointing thought. They needed to be fried for more time. For each day we're there they were always soft and not crispy. They flavor was just OK for the fries.

Can't say we had a bad time at PopStroke. I also can't say it was the most fun we have ever had though too. I will however say that the naked chicken wings I ordered were some of the best I have ever had in my entire life. I'd go back just for those, ha! When you go to PopStroke you pay $30 for a full day pass. Access to 2, 18 hole putting greens... Not sure if that's a good value or not, but by the time we finished our second round of 18 holes, PopStroke was packed to the BRIM, so I could see people stopping for lunch and then attempting to go out for a 3rd round but then being scared off by the crowds/waiting. We got there around 10:30am so we beat a little of the rush before mid-day but around 12pm it got really busy. Not sure I'd go back to PopStroke over any other put put place, but it was a nice outing during the week between XMAS and NEW YEARS where people are left wondering WTF to do. Ha Ha!

This was where my son wanted to go as part of his birthday festivities. Pros: -well maintained -friendly bar staff on the course -loved how the "sand traps" were easy to work with Cons: -having beverages easily delivered to your hole made it easy for participants to get sloshed on the course -no one to regulate inebriated guests to move along on the course (One guy "lost" his ball and his party all looked for it for 5 mins. It was in his pocket. Another party would stand on the green while ordering drinks then wait for them without moving aside so other could play through.) -front desk staff talked to themselves about how much longer they had of their shift before being acknowledged -not enough shade for Florida sun while waiting for a hole This place seems fun. Beautifully designed, great outdoor activity, and the idea of playing a round, eating and hydrating, then playing more is great. It just needs a few tweaks to make it run smoother. Because of those more worried about what drink to have at each hole, or large parties (one group had 11 people waiting for each person to sink their hole before moving on), it took us 2 hours and 48 mins to finish a round of putt putt.

What a fun concept for kids and adults! I love the idea of it but feel like once more people know about this place, things could get hairy. $25 for all day play for adults, not too shabby at all. I wonder if they really allow you to stay from open to close or crack down? They have two courses....black and red. Red is the more difficult hence had more adults. I was with family so we did black (and my niece ended up kicking butt so go figure!) My beef is with the efficiency end of it. Everyone starts at #1 then continues on from there which makes sense. But not on a Saturday night when there's a lot of larger parties. You have to wait for the parties in front of you to finish the hole then move on. It's a lot of waiting. There's a bar strategically placed in the middle. Genius! You can also download the app to get drinks delivered to toy. No one seems to be enforcing bringing you own water, soda or bevvie either so that may be an option if you want to be a loner. They have drink stands at each hole so you can set it down before you tee off. But then you have to walk back and get your drink. First world problem? Yes but just an observation. If you have to scoot to the restroom and you're at home 7 out of 18, there's no easy way to get over there! You have to walk through or around someone's game and it's awkward. Speaking of the restroom, dude. It's bad, they onesie bathrooms, what gives?? With the volume of people they really need multi stall facilities so people don't have to miss out on their games and such. Besides my little observations, this is a cool concept and fun way to spend time with fam, see if a first date prospect is competition or just relax and be a kid again!

Service was great , quick and efficient. Ordering off the app was simple and food was ready right away. Ambiance was fun , enjoyed sitting outside. Food was pretty fantastic really enjoyed the mahi Mahi wrap, tasted spicy and enjoyed it thoroughly. Also ordered a wine bottle for 30$ that was pretty good also. It's convenient that they give you plastic cups also so you can take your beverages on the course. Definitely will be returning , solid five stars.

Such a fun place. We took our grandkids there, they enjoyed the put put golf course and after a round of golf, we visited the café and had a good, reasonable priced lunch. Played some cornhole and ping-pong while we waited on our food.

It was beautiful outside and luckily were offered an outdoor table (which was perfect as in inside seating area was very cold). We were sat (2ppl) and were about the 5th or 6th table outside. There was a table sitting next to us that had clearly finished their food and we're waiting to pay their check after about 15 minutes. The mother took the two other children and left the father there to pay the bill. About 10 minutes later, he ended up getting up and going inside to find a server. His new sword ever came outside. We sat at our table for probably 30 minutes and watched the host. Continue to see people outside filling it up. After about 35 minutes of nobody ever even approaching our table, we got up and left. I don't understand if you are short staffed why you would open an extra receiving area if you cannot service it? I have been there in the past and it has not ever been this bad. But after almost 45 minutes, I'm not even being acknowledged, we had to leave and find lunch somewhere else. To me, this was 100% on greedy management. You are not gonna increase your sales by filling up the restaurant and then not having enough service staff on duty to take care of it. I noticed another table also get up and walk towards their car after they saw us get up and leave. Not a manager in sight, not a server insight, just the continuing seating by a young man who was only doing what he was told to do, obviously without direction.

We grabbed seats at the bar, and Anna took great care of us. Super friendly, attentive, and honestly the highlight of the experience. I ordered the Estate Burger -- smoked Gouda, sweet onion marmalade, arugula, tomato, onion straws, and white bacon aïoli on a brioche bun, served with fries. When the burger came out, it looked solid at first glance... but the portion of fries was really small (definitely a "see before and after pics" situation). I asked Anna about it, and she handled it like a rock star -- got more fries out quickly and totally saved the meal. Still, for $17.99, I shouldn't have had to ask in the first place... you feel me? As for the burger itself, the flavor was good, but it didn't quite live up to the menu description. The toppings felt pretty light -- like a few pieces of arugula, a handful of onion straws -- not what you expect when you're paying that price for a specialty burger. Overall, mixed experience. Great service from Anna, solid flavor, but portions and execution didn't quite match the price point. Would I come back? Yeah... but next time, don't forget the rest of my fries.

But it was PACKED and they weren't serving any more???? We threw our tickets in the trash because now we could not make it back in time, (( frown :-( )) So a walk to Main Street to see if Patrick's or anybody might have room for two? NOPE. and we were walking along and THERE WAS BREWSTER's GASTROPUB!!!!!!!!!! For some reason I have 128 restaurants on my Sarasota Favorites list and Brewster's was not on it? I checked them on as I entered??? Looked VERY full at the bar, and most tables were full but it looked like we had a shot...... and there was a four top high-top!!!!!!! WIDE OPEN!! I think the no table service might be the delineator. We weren't looking for a sit down "dining" and full service gig. Nor did we need the overhead and pomp and circumstance of a host/hostess, army of bus staff, a waitstaff and being waited on with drinks and water and etc? ******** We came to EAT GOOD SIMPLE FOOD and have FUN. **** And that's what we did!!! "Todd" at the bar was friendly and fantastic. All the bartenders and staff were helpful and friendly. The "security guy" when he saw me at the bar for about 20 seconds helped me get some ketchup. Zone defense and team effort!!!! I got the signature Brew Burger and a side of Street Corn and had an endless glass of water w/ lemon I think I had Todd fill about 5 times. My wife and I bantered about what the Street Corn would be and we were happily surprised with the authentic Mexican Street Corn (elotes?) on the cob with a stick and a delightful creamy Chile, garlic, and Cotija cheese sauce I think. (problem is we gobble them up before we could figure out the exact sauce composition here. BUT it was very tasty. 10/10 The burger (for this adult usually nutritarian plant-based eater) was EXACTLY what I had hoped for. A wonderfully fresh an warm brioche bun, fantastic angus burger, cheddar and a "secret sauce" . I got lettuce onion and pickles which are standard...... this was VERY VERY VERY tasty. only quip is I will opt for sauce on the side and its was a little too much sauce. This was mega and uber better than some greasy Five Guys or Smashburger or any of that stuff. 10/10 My wife got the Shroom & Swiss Burger that had a wonderful portobello mushroom on it nicely cooked, terrific angus burger properly cooked exactly as we ordered it, she loved the blue cheese perfect amount, She also felt a bit TOO much of the secret sauce, but its pretty tasty so not a catastrophe. This was also an AWESOME burger!! 10/10 The sweet potato fries were not crazy greasy and perfectly crisp but not crunchy for fries - good, cross-cut and obviously bulk bag. Cut or sliced would be nicer but of course not expected, its a side. 7/10 The place is clean and glassware and silverware perfectly clean. The counter/bar service is fantastic. I had to make a few trips for ketchup and place ware and etc but hey when your wife gets one of the better vodka cranberry w/lemon and club in a large tumble for $9 instead of $15 or $16 for a 6 oz martini glass with 4 oz of watery drink........ its a home run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cuban sandwiches are and iconic food choice in this region and it should be easy to replicate the many good ones you can get in the area. The bread was dry and tasted like cardboard, the meats were not recognizable and the sandwich was soaking in a disgusting white sauce (Note to Ed's: just use plain yellow mustard). I took the "meat" off 1/2 of the bread and tried to eat it. Because it was soaking in that white sauce I needed to ask for a ton of extra napkins. I asked for a to go box thinking somehow I'd figure out a way to eat it later. Nahhhh. Tossed it as soon as I got near a trash can. The staff is friendly and it kills me to give them a bad review, but it is what it is. P.S. I didn't ask for the manager to discuss the food because we were with other people and I didn't want to inconvenience them.
