My family and I recently dined here and unfortunately left disappointed. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which seemed unusual given that the restaurant was not particularly busy. From our table, I could actually see my chicken sandwich sitting in the service window for quite some time before it was finally brought out. When the food arrived, the sandwich, fries, and cheese were all cold. I politely asked for the meal to be remade and inquired whether it would take another 30 minutes. Our server said they would get it out quickly and explained that they were busy. However, looking around the dining room, there were only a handful of occupied tables and two servers working. Several nearby tables were simply having drinks, so it was difficult to understand the delay. What was most disappointing wasn't even the cold food--it was the lack of acknowledgment. A simple apology or some communication about the delay would have gone a long way toward improving the experience. I understand that servers aren't responsible for cooking the food, but they do pass the service window regularly. If food has been sitting under the heat lamps for several minutes waiting on other items, someone should be checking on it or having it remade before it reaches the customer. We were hoping to add this restaurant to our list of regular dining spots, but based on this visit, it unfortunately didn't make the cut. read more

We had a reservation for Oak and Stone for a large party, and they had us seated outside with three servers helping us out. We all sat down and had our orders taken. It could have been a busy day, but our service was so slow. It took forever for us to get our food, to the point where we thought the order just was not placed at all. The food itself was also not impressive. The salad was basic. The Farmer and Pig pizza was not very cohesive with the flavors. The pizza that was worth it though was the Clucker. We should have gotten more. read more

First time here. Came for a business meeting. Lunch was quiet in the restaurant but amazing food and service. I ate way more than I planned on because the sweet heat flatbread was so good! I will definitely have to come back and check out their taps when I'm not working. read more

This is my favorite pizza restaurant ever! I've been to this location a few times now - mainly for takeout. Even during takeout their customer service is great. The ambiance is nice inside so whenever I have friends or family coming, I always try to take them here. read more

We had a lunch at this location about a week ago. We were seated without difficulty. We then changed our mind and moved to a seat at the bar. Not a bad spot but a little small. The bartender was ok, not a big personality but seemed like a nice guy. We ordered a pizza and biscuits and gravy with eggs. The biscuit itself was good, the gravy was different and the egg was normal. My pizza was really good mostly enjoyed the crust, it was unique and tasty. I think in this review the only reason I gave it three stars was because the overall ambience, seating, sound, personalities, etc seemed slightly off and uncomfortable. Hey this might be a great spot for some who might see things differently than myself. The food wasn't bad, but I was disappointed because the real reason we originally decided to stop in was because of the beer soup I remembered from 2 prior visits awhile ago. Oh well. A group of us came here for bookclub. The server was super sweet and she may have even joined the FB group after asking a few questions. My drink was okay. It was prettier than it tasted. They made it with edible glitter and it was pink. I wouldn't order it again, but I wouldn't tell anyone else not to get it. My meal was much better. So, so yummy. 02.02.25 read more

When we arrived we were greeted by the host around 6;15 and brought to our table. Anthony was our server and brought our drinks out quickly and got our wings placed right away. My boyfriend and I did two flavors of wings and shared. They came out very fast we only waited about 10 minutes. They are delicious here, very crispy and the inside was so tender it fell off the bone. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere at this location it is easy to have conversations. We left at 6;40 and had a great time here ! They have indoor & outdoor seating which is nice! We will definitely be back and ask for Anthony for his great service! read more

The food was top notch! we started out with bourbon sticky wings and they were very good. Great flavor and perfect starter to share. I haven't had a pizza that good in years. The sweat heat was a 10/10, crust was perfect and the flavor was perfection. The outdoor patio was a vibe, great music and march madness on the tvs! Our server was great, knowledgeable and had great suggestions on the drink taps! Very unique! Can't wait to make it back down, it will be our first stop for food! read more

Mid experience- service was ok, and they do have a GF pizza crust that was pretty good. Overall ambiance was good but tables are pretty close together. The self serve craft beer wall was cool, but pricey. Overall more like 3.5 stars. I would go back but probably not my first choice. read more

Cool concept restaurant chain with wings and self serve alcohol. Pros - vast selection of beers, kombucha, and non-alcoholic beers. They have glassware and even tiny glasses and racks available to make your own flights. Cons - the flavor on the wings were good but the meat was dry and overdone Great place to hang out with friends on a weekend. If you are into beer and want to try a wide variety, this is the most economical place to do it. read more

First sit down visit...have never seen the menu....Def "bar food" so I decided on the pizza - ( farmer & pig ! ) - I'm guessing the food is quality...but the pizza was excellent. It literally has a "crunch", so that was kool. Very limited on the described topping - which I have learned that the definition of artisan really means "less" topping...lol. Enjoyed the fact that they serve coke instead of pepsi...but $5.00 for a glass seemed pricey despite the fact it was bottomless. (P.S. - they do offer a large variety of beer on tap...offering sizes from a taste to a glass full. ) Audrey was my server and she did a lovely job taking care of me albeit I was eating solo tonight and we all know how that can go when one is dining out. read more

Tried it again tonight and I wish I could give the food zero stars. Had the wings and pizza and the wings have definitely been changed in the last year. The buffalo sauce was overly salty with zero other flavor or spice, the wings themself were gross and soggy. Skin undercooked. I used to really love this place and I'm sad how much it's gone downhill. No wonder it was dead on a Sunday and used to be popping. read more

Excellent restaurant/ bar Great ambiance and even better service. The serve yourself concept for their amazing beer selection is the best. You get to try many different types of beer and just pay by the ounce. Food is also really good. Try their cheesesteak egg rolls are really good. Crispy deliciousness. Their pizzas are also a great choice... we had the funghi, pepperoni, meatballs, and they were all incredibly tasty. Definitely recommend coming here read more

My husband and I stopped into Oak & Stone after a morning of running some errands around UTC. We had Ali as our server outside and she was extremely friendly and provided great service! We both chose to do the beer wall for drinks and she was able to set us up with the bands quickly. We chose to just do some light snacks before a heavier dinner later in the day. The wings were amazing!!! The sauce on them is delicious, not too spicy, and they have so much meat on them. We also got the garlicky spinach dip which was also tasty. The beer wall pricing is pretty well priced considering it contains a lot of locally sourced beers & breweries. Overall we enjoyed our visit & meal at Oak and Stone and we enjoyed the staff making our experience a great one. The staff even was able to put down the blinds for us so we could enjoy the nice weather outside without the sun in our faces. read more

First and last time we been there for sure. Margarita didn't taste like margarita. Burger bun was burned, medium meat was well done. Pizza was ok, mojito was good actually! They did offer to bring a new burger, but when your hungry don't want to wait for a new one, at first place they shouldn't bring a burned burger out.. read more

Went here for lunch at UTC because of the reviews I had read about the wings. This is a small location. Server was also the bartender and he was terrific, friendly and clearly enjoyed his job. Gave us suggestions. I went with the mango habanero wings and wife went with a pizza. The wings were ok, flavour was good, maybe a bit hotter than I wanted but the wings were a bit dry and chewy. The pizza was a standout! We would go back for the pizza alone, for sure. I would give it a high 3* rating, not quite a 4. read more

What an amazing concept of beer on tap!!! Came here with my family and we all participated in trying beers from the beer wall. I wish more places adopted this concept because not only do you get to taste so many different beers, you also end up paying such a low price because you're being charged by the ounce! Our waitress and other staff all helped pick out food and gave us a rundown of the beer selection. We ordered a few apps to try out and a couple of pizzas. Their food is pretty good, just wish the wings were more saucy. Tried a whole bunch of different beers - there was something for everyone read more

We love Oak & Stone! Oak and Stone is the perfect atmosphere if you're looking for fun & laid back but in a clean & classy environment. Get your wristband and head over to their beer wall with tons of options that can satiate the tastes of every kind of customer, even those that prefer ciders or something light. You are charged by the ounce, so it's nice to get to taste things without committing to a whole glass. You also can grab a full glass if you find something that you love! The also offer cocktails, which I've only tried once but also enjoyed. The white pizza is by far my favorite. It is so flavorful and presented beautifully. They are small, so you may want to get an app with it if you're dining with others. We love this concept, and have even brought relatives here when they came to visit because it's such a unique experience. A must try in LWR/Sarasota-Bradenton! read more

Went here after having a fun event near the park. Entered without a reservation and was told there was a 20 minute wait, which I didn't mind. However, after 5 minutes waiting outside, I was told my table was ready. A friendly server took my order. While I knew the self serve drinks was the gimmick here, I decided to go with the suggested lavender lemonade (9 dollars), which was a nice drink, but could have used more vodka as it was on the lighter side. For my main meal, I decided to just have the freezer Caesar salad with grilled chicken (13 dollars) as I wasn't in a mood for their pizza. The salad was nothing fancy, but had good amount of lettuce, chicken, and Caesar dressing. It filled me up. For dessert, I took home the banana foster cheesecake (7 dollars), which was good with the caramel sauce, but didn't notice any bananas on the cake. Service was friendly, but it did take some time to get the dessert and bill. The atmosphere had a lot of tvs and beer decorations, and I think there was outdoor seating as well. The TV's were mostly playing the live football games. The music was mostly inoffensive rock music. Overall, it is a nice place near the University area for drinks and food. Plus, it opens till 12am, so it is perfect when you want to eat out late after a fun event from Nathan Benderson Park. read more

My husband and I ate lunch here. Service was great. I ordered a pizza and that was delicious. My husband ordered a burger with extra cheese. This place is awesome!! Gotta have the fungi pizza - it's absolutely perfect - I do add extra cheese. Next time I'd also add the ricotta whip + tomato, but honestly the pizza on its own is a great. Fruit fly assault all around the tap trees, the only interesting beers were kicked. Disappointed.

Very pleasant experience. To start, our waitress was great! Very attentive, nice and knowledgeable on the menu. We started with the Kung Pao cauliflower, tastes very similar to sweet and sour chicken, personally a little too sour for me, but overall really good. Ordered the clicker pizza (minus pine nuts) and the Smoked Turkey Balt. Both were great and had different flavorful tastes. The mango lemonade was also really good. Great place with flavorful twists on each item. read more
