I've visited 99 Bottles several times for their Bagel Brunch and it never disappoints. The wine & beer bar is beautifully decorated and sits in a great location--just far enough from the noisy, busy downtown area, allowing you to feel relaxed, yet still convenient, with plenty of public parking nearby. They have a nice outdoor umbrella seating area plus high bar stools inside. The bagels are the real deal--legit New York bagels delivered from New York. Their mimosas are the best I've had anywhere in Sarasota. There's a wonderful variety for bagel lovers: excellent cream cheeses, the bagel with wild smoked salmon, and the classic bacon, egg & cheese (among many other options). My mom's coffee type beer...also went amazingly well with my donut. For all you beer conoseiuers out there.. Don't want to give a star rating because I didn't stay. The staff greeted me with a friendly welcome. I asked for a begel and a cup of decaffeinated coffee. They told me they didn't serve decaffeinated coffee. I canceled the begel and left. Some thing, but I can't do caffeine and I wanted a beverage that was a sugary juice or water. A few pots of decaffeinated coffee a day costs very little. If a place is going to sell breakfast, having decaffeinated coffee as an option is a reasonable ask. Had a little staycation in Sarasota over the weekend and got the chance to stop in here for a dinner. The place is a nice size, but definitely try to get there on the early side during weekends, we got there around 5 and got the last seats on the bar (they also offer bar seating along the the wall). The walls are stacked top to bottom with so many different types of 4-6 packs, literally any flavor or type of beer you'd ever want. The atmosphere was extremely nice, it wasn't too loud even when it got busy, they had the football games playing too. The bartenders were super nice and helpful to answer any questions about anything on the menu. They also have a very extensive tap, can, wine list that you can order from. I got an untitled art, which is always my go-to whenever I can find it and my boyfriend got a blueberry sour, which was out of this world. We were there during one of their pizza pop-ups and let me tell you.. if you have the chance to catch one of these pop-ups... RUN, DON'T WALK. When I tell you this Detroit Style pizza was some of the B.E.S.T. BEST pizza I've had in my life, I cannot stop thinking, dreaming, or talking about it. The sauce was amazing and the dough was so light. I ordered the plain marinara and my boyfriend got the pepperoni. We almost debated staying another day, just to head back for the pizza. Overall, this is such a nice little spot for a date night or a casual night out. We ended up leaving with two 4 packs of Untitled Art because they had the biggest collection I have ever seen! The bartenders are knowledgable and full of recommendations based on your preferred taste. They also are willing to let you sample before you purchase a pint. Comfortable place to sit inside for hours (and COVID-conscious!. Masks were worn, seats were spread out safely, etc).
