I love the beer wall! Its pricey but we try to go during happy hour. Some days the wall has excellent beers some days not but its so fun sampling them all. If you prefer wine they have some wine on the wall too. The smash burgers are our usual i like the potato wedges with the pub cheese for a couple bucks more. I used to frequent this place quite heavily around two years ago I recently returned and the quality has drastically decreased. I ordered my favorite dishes their cheese steak egg roll and Mac & cheese (now reduced to a side) as a trip down memory lane. Much to my dismay my dreams were shattered by dry/unsauced noodles topped with uncooked breadcrumbs. The egg rolls are relatively the same in taste however drastically soggier in texture. With a decrease in the size of beer cheese you get with them as well, giving you enough for 1.5 out of the 3 egg rolls. Also payed for an extra side of beer cheese which I did not receive!!! Also the "sashimi" is warm, why are we cooking fish and calling it sashimi. Sincerely, Extremely disappointed customer. P.s. Do better or close. read more

Went last night for the last time. In our past visits, service has been lacking. Last night, we ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down. My order came within 15 minutes. I chose to wait until my husband got his order. After 15 minutes, I asked if my food could be placed under the warmer since it was cold by then. I also asked if they could check on my husbands order. The bartender said it would be right out and the manager would be bringing it. Another 10 minutes go by and he again checks and tells us the same thing. A good lunch I stopped in today for lunch. My visit began with a nice greeting and a choice of tables. I selected one close to the window in the front of the restaurant for the natural lighting. With so many TVs around I suspect every seat is good, I watched part of a tennis match. After a quick scan of their menu I decided on their reasonably priced pizza lunch special, a personal sized pizza, salad, and soft drink for $13. The menu didn't indicate what the pizza choices were, so when my server stopped by, I asked. Today is Tuesday, it is a mushroom pizza, as well as a cheese pizza. I later learned each day M-F has its own one topping lunch pizza. My salad of choice was Caesar, and in about 12 minutes my salad and pizza arrived. The salad was great, it had lots of creamy dressing and lots of shaved parmesan cheese. I like dressing. If you are like my wife and don't appreciate lots of Caesar dressing, you might want to discuss with your server. The pizza was not that great, but to be fair I ate the salad first and that let the crispy crust pizza get cold. It could have used more sauce and cheese, not an uncommon issue with pizza. It was a nice lunch size. When I had an opportunity to chat with my server for a minute of two, she made a nice impression on me. Certainly all the server stuff went perfectly. Oak & Stone has a beer wall that has 50 draft beer choices. Very impressive. We joked about some of the more outlandish flavors. Really terrible food. Avoid this location at all costs. Brussel sprouts appetizer was super greasy and didn't come with a creamy dipping sauce like it should for that flavor profile. The Brunch music city menu item was horrible. The tiny two pieces of fried pickles on top tasted and smelled like fish, it must have been fried in the same oil it was disgusting. The actual sandwich was just as bad the egg tasted old and the "tangy" sauce was super spicy. I took a couple bites because I was starving and it took an hour for the food to come out. But it was horrible and didn't finish it. My hubby's grouper sandwich was so bad, it tasted like old pre frozen fried fish and smelled. Oddly that's exactly how the fried pickle chips smelled. The fruit salad had a long hair in it and tasted like old fruits from a can mixed with some fresh apples to deceive people. It was not edible . The beer wall is horrible. My hubby is a beer connoisseur and for him to not find anything but a CIDER to drink was wild. Every beer he tasted was absolutely disgusting . Wondering if they get their samples for free because it was just that bad. We told our waitress about our horrible meals and to make things right she sent over the manager who offered us a free piece peanut butter, chocolate cheesecake it was OK but not that good. Our waitress was not a good waitress either and she never came to check to see if I needed a refill or if we needed any glasses of water. They took off the two meal items that were horrible off the bill. But it still doesn't change the fact that the food is absolutely horrendous. I was looking at other tables around us and people are very dissatisfied with their food as well. This place needs to either shut down or a new ownership and a new chef. Visiting family in the area, I discovered Oak & Stone, via Yelp, when attempting to find a post-beach lunch spot with ample variety for the wildly varying tastebuds in our family-they seemed like the perfect location based on their large brew variety & drool worthy food photos- when family decided to 'snack at the beach' instead of going out- I insisted hubby & I still go out. So glad I did because they were not a spot to miss out on! The beer wall was the main draw; with the easy wristband ability to select our own amount of each brew- we opted to create two flights of local IPAs, added on two mini tasters of seasonal brews-and once discovered our favorite IPA selected two full pours (all of that ~$45, not bad!) We also opted to share the Hangover Pizza- absolutely delectable flavor; with a perfectly balanced charred & fluffy crust- loaded with bold flavorful ingredients. The sausage, with fresh caraway rye seeds, was the juiciest, spicy, caramelized delicious bite, pairing so well with the creaminess from the fried egg, and enhanced with the pairing onions. Highly highly recommend-gobbled up- could have eaten the entire pie myself-but alas had to split with hubby. So much flavor- some logistic feedback: parking was easy, as they are located in a main shopping strip mall type lot area-ample spots; seating was a bit of a chaotic wait- first, we didn't' have the option indoor/outdoor; they said if we wanted to dine sooner than later we'd have to sit outside- fine by us, but once seated we were forgotten for a bit of time- wishing I could just approach some bar to get our pour card- even when the waitress finally came, took our food order & went to get a beer wall wrist band there was a lengthy wait before she returned & we were able to go grab a brew. paying was also a wait, as we were prompted to put a sign up on our table so she would know we were done, but she didn't seem to notice the sign for a very long time- we ultimately had to hunt her down Overall, the core of the place (beer & food) were amazing, but the service was a bit lacking. This was my 1st dining in the restaurant. Bartender 10/10 02:30pm was super nice! She was thorough with the explaining the beer pours. I opted for the Tuna appetizer and fries both very good. Myself personally would have the Tuna sauce on the side. The pretzel crust was not overwhelming in the least bit. My ONLY SUGGESTION IS TO CUSTOMERS...don't ruin others dining experience by wearing heavy perfumes and/or colognes. The pizza was nothing special, the pepperoni was good and flavorful and you can't beat the price. I've always loved their Ruben Sandwich however the one tonight wasn't very good. The bread was burnt and the inside was lukewarm. A real disappointment since I had a taste for a good Ruben! The service was good and the Restaurant wasn't very busy which every other time we have been there it has been packed. I definitely think it was because the food isn't as good. Very disappointed! Waited 15-20 minutes to be served in an empty restaurant without even being offered a glass of water. The waiter started serving a customer who came in after me. When she came to me she said: sorry, but the hostess didn't tell her I was here?! By the way, I was sitting in the same area as another client who came after me. I asked: what do you have for happy hour? And she said it was already over. This is after I waited over 15 minutes in an empty restaurant, which was more than enough time for them to take my order since I had been here a few times and knew what I wanted. What an amazing experience visiting Oak & Stone brewery located in Sarasota. As soon as we arrived we were greeted kindly and very quickly we were sat down brought the menus for dinner. It was mostly appetizers and pizzas pairs very well with the beer. Upon explaining us how the brewery works, i went around sampling the beers I found appealing with my taste buds. They have a wide variety of fresh brews US crafted and other countries, mainly focusing on the East coast and west coast. It was impressive the indoor decor, it felt as if we were inside the brewery. The crowd was very immerse in the place and it was nice to see lots of people cracking jokes and laughing while enjoying the place. We have ordered the garlicky spinach dip, crispy Brussels , slow-roasted wings with the with O&S OG Buffalo sauce, pepperoni pizza and the fun guy pizza. The sauce for the chicken wings had very tangy flavor and the pizza's came out warm and creepy edges. It was a very creative way to sample some beers. My favorite beer was Tangerine Wheat which had a very fruity flavor and went well with the food we othered. read more

Nothing was awful about our dine-in experience but nothing was awesome, either. There was plenty of parking when our party of six arrived for a late Sunday lunch. The hostess greeted us warmly and guided us to our table. We ordered several appetizers as well as ventured over to the bar tap wall to select our four beer flights. We enjoyed reading the beers on tap descriptions as well as the various size/price options. Overall, we liked the dark brews we tasted but agreed that we'd only purchase one of the four again. The Buffalo cauliflower, tuna, and smoked gouda mac and cheese were tasty but not stellar. I know, it's a casual place but still. The white pizza with carmelized onions has a delightful flavor and the crust was just right. Others liked their meals but agreed that they would try something else on future visits.
