So we had spent the day over in Lake Wales and coming home we were trying to decide where to eat. Greyson's is in our backyard and we had never been so we decided to give it a try! We were seated right away. It was the 5 o'clock hour and by the time we left it was getting pretty busy. They have tons of tvs showing sports and the bar is set apart but the noise level is pretty loud. Our waitress was super attentive and had our drinks to us quickly. After ordering the food was brought out pretty fast as well and everything was delicious! I had the smash burger and it was cooked perfectly. My husband and dad had the cheesesteaks and enjoyed them. My mom really loved the veggie wrap and we started with a yummy tray of nachos! The prices are comparable with other places. My favorite was the dipping sauce for the fries!! I went here with my son's soccer team. We called after our last game was over at 5p and they said they could accommodate us - group of about 25-30. We were seated outside and it was great since the boys were so loud! Things went smoother than I would expected for such a huge group last minute . They took drink orders first then food. This was my 3rd visit here and I have to say both the food and service were better than my last 2 visits. It was busy but not too loud as our party of 8 had no problems chatting and hearing each other. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Thank you Greysons for being open after Hurricane Milton! We got a table outside which was wonderful with the breeze and it's much less loud. Very impressed that they had their whole available. The ribs are amazing! Very meaty and just the right amount of sauce. Live their crispy fries with the signature Greyson dill sauce. The chicken tenders are also impressive. This is a sports bar heaven, especially with bar seating. 26 big screen TVs on every available inch of wall and ceiling space! If you're in for drinks and some pub food you're going to be fine. The Greyson is so close to being very good but it just comes up short. The drinks are very good while the craft beer selection is just decent. For this type of sports bar / restaurant, they should have at least 5 or 6 more options (especially local brews like Jai Alai or Zote). The service is usually very good but where I really feel they drop the ball is with the food. Please understand that it's not bad, it's just not great. I've now had about 5 or 6 different things from the menu and nothing jumped out as Great. The nachos were sort of mushy, not crispy chips that I expect and they were covered in a cheese sauce as opposed to real shredded cheese. I would say that the best thing I have had were the wings. Good size and tasty sauce options. Also, the ribs were very decent. On a personal note, I would like to see a few more mature servers as opposed to the room full of late teens and early 20's. Solid spot. Glad they brought back the old fries. Good wings, good burgers, solid apps and cold beer. Service can be hit or miss but honestly it's been mostly good. Getting off work late can sometimes be a bother, especially in an area this small. Having a late night place with booze and food is a great plus. The food is nothing special but is really good in flavor and worth coming back for more. I was on a contract job and was on my last few days. Great sports bar with good food. The manager is excellent and the grouper bites are the best thing on the menu.

Service and food top notch. Try the fish toco's you will be blown away. Very much a fun place to be, good beer selections and lots and lots of television sets. The only down side is the noise. Everyone is having such a good time, service is outstanding so I'm thinking that with this happy atmosphere that every turns their voice up 10 notches. read more

I read a review about racism at this establishment prior to going with my husband who is African American. I thought it was just an isolated situation, but our experience proved differently. The bar area was loud and the people were cursing so much. When I went to the bathroom, no one served my husband. Our waitress was so rude to him, but very nice to me. First time here. They opened a couple of weeks ago. Clean and upscale sports bar with at least 24 TV's inside and outdoor seating is available. I had the Philly Cheesesteak with a side Caesar salad and 10 chix wings with dry Buffalo lemon pepper rub. It was all fresh and delicious. My wife had the wing/rib combo with unique thicker fries. The ribs were meaty, thick and not saturated with sweet bbq sauce. Delicious! So good. Hannah was our wait person and she was incredible! Stop by and ask for her. Lastly, this place is open really late (close at 12AM during the week and 2AM on the weekends). An anomaly here in this area where most eateries close by 9. Where should I begin......waitress was courteous and friendly and after that it went downhill quickly. The amount of noise in this place at 6:20p was unbearable. I know sports bars are somewhat noisy but this place is just absurd. There's no noise abatement in the ceiling or on the new brick wall. The person 2 ft away from me had difficulty hearing me. We've been to the Greyson 3 times and 2 times the food was great as was the service. But tonight, our server, who never even gave us her name, acted like she was doing us a big favor every time she stopped by to ask us, "You doin' okay?" Must be tough finding good help, we thought. But then after drinks and foods we went to order desert. So, we ordered 2 slices of salted caramel cheesecake and a cup of coffee. "We don't have coffee. We don't even have a coffee machine." she said. Then I politely said, "Wow, I must've been to a thousand bar/restaurants in my life, and I've never seen one of them that doesn't serve coffee. How do you make your coffee drinks?" And she said, "Well you can order an espresso martini if you want." So I said, "How much is that?" "Eleven dollars." she replied. So I said, "No thanks." So we ordered the pie "to go". And in the meantime, I saw a sign saying they served brunch starting 11/25/2025. So I asked, so are you still serving brunch, or was that temporary?" She said, "Yes, we still serve brunch." So then I said, "So, do you serve coffee at brunch?" And seeming very annoyed she just said, "No!" and more or less stormed off with a dirty look. So I ask you all and in particular I'm asking the management, "Who if the eff ever heard of a bar/restaurant, no less a restaurant that also serves breakfast, not serving coffee... no less looking at the customer as if they were some kind of nut case for being so surprised that such an established would not have a coffee machine. Really lame. Really bad choice. And a really bad server... although I still left her a 20% tip and I'm kicking myself for not reducing that to 10% in this instance. read more

You want a burger they have a gluten-free bun, you wanna taco they have corn tortillas, do you want a flatbread? They have cauliflower crust! The service is always amazing. I really should have visited The Grayson sooner, and I recommend you try it for yourself if you haven't yet. Here's why 1) The Grayson burger and salads are much better than (a popular place a little north and south of The Grayson), regular and smash burgers are much better here! 2) It's a sports atmosphere but it isn't obnoxiously loud like other sports bars. 3) Happy Hour drinks are priced like happy hour, not a pathetic - $1 or $2 like other places. 4) Staff is all super friendly and genuine. Maddie was my server and she had the perfect balance of professionalism and chit chat. 5) There's lots of great option on the menu like fish tacos, Mahi burger, salads... 6) Convenient location, easy parking, close to plenty of neighborhoods so no reason to run to the mall or spend a small fortune for a weekday meal. 7) Nice tvs everywhere so you can watch any sport you like. 8) If anything was a con, it was too cold in there, but fixed that easily by asking politely. If you haven't been, check it out for yourself and enjoy. It's definitely better than tired old Truman's was. read more

Probably the worst wings I've ever had in my life. The ribs were just "eh." Staff knows nothing about the menu. Their "special" fry sauce is just dill weed mixed with something and tasteless. I saw my neighbor there when I was and she later told me that her and her friend who shared a chicken dish got food poisoning that day. I've given this place two chances and so t go back. Over priced taco salad...little meat, all lettuce and some tomatoes and cheese sprinkled over top with a small amount of avocado added in. This would have been a good meal if it had more substance so I asked the manager if I could have a little more ground beef. He didn't care. Said that is how the item is served. Not sure why because everything used to be good. $37 for pretzel bites, 4 chicken tenders, cold French fries and two cokes is way too expensive for dryed-out cold food. Such a shame.
