My husband ordered the mushroom burger with fries. He said the burger was dry and wished it had like a mushroom sauce on it. I ordered the Greyson Cobb with grilled chicken. The chicken seemed like... it was prepackaged and plopped on the salad, not grilled fresh. The bacon was hard and dry, not cooked here either. The romaine seemed fresh, the ranch was just alright. First time customer and oddly enough I had just read about this restaurant this morning. It is truly a sports bar. There are TV's everywhere and it's very loud. The bar is nice and there is inside and outside seating. Service was pretty good from the start. The menu is typical bar food, with quite a few choices. I settled on the meatball sliders. They arrived quickly and looked good. They were decent sliders but could have used more marinara sauce. read more

We didn't have the best experience, which for seem to be the norm. It was a Monday evening so we didn't expect device to slow. The food was a mix. A party of three; one was meal was well done, one was "okay" and one was definitely a not well prepared, which they exchanged for something else. Very nice patio seating. Inside seating also looked nice. Might try again but would hesitate to take guests because it was so hit/miss. read more

We live close by so stopping here for dinner was initially convenience since there aren't a lot of options in the area, but the food and atmosphere don't disappoint! Absolutely love The Greyson (Palmetto location)! Every single item on the menu is delicious -- I've honestly never had a bad meal here. My go-to favorite is the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It's packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and generous enough that I can easily get two meals out of it. I'm usually not a fan of steak-cut fries, but they do them perfectly here -- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Dipping them in the Greyson sauce is a must. Everything I've tried on the menu is something I would happily order again. The hardest part of eating here is narrowing down what to get because it all sounds (and tastes) so good. Consistently great food, well executed, and totally worth the visit every time. read more

Stopped in after an event for a late dinner. Nice selection on the menu. We ordered two margaritas and while they were good, they were a little more on the sour side, which I didn't mind but my partner didn't care for. The fajita bowl was tasty, and excellent with blackened chicken. Nice proportion of fresh peppers and chicken. My partner had the smash burger which wasn't really smashed like the traditional smash burger, but still said it was "ok." The fries were really good. The service was excellent, our waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently. It was late at night and was still pretty crowded, but nice overall atmosphere. We love to support local and the service was slow but great attitude, the problem is the food just wasn't good. We ordered the pretzel bites appetizer and it was soaked in butter. We also ordered the hot chicken wings which hubby said were ok and flatbread pizza that wasn't anything like a flatbread. It was a thick crust and the pizza sauce tasted like canned spaghetti sauce plus the balsamic glaze drizzle had no flavor. The atmosphere was nice as we sat on the patio. With all the hype & buzz around a new restaurant on Mocassin Wallow, I think our expectations were too high unfortunately. The vibe is decent, plenty of TV's inside plus a full bar. As others have mentioned, it's a tight space and quite noisy (not always a bad thing, just make note) . We really enjoyed the heated, screened-in patio atmosphere. Food: Mediterranean Trio- Meh. Dip portions are huge! All three dips lacked flavor. Wings- These were tasty! Large, juicy, cooked well-done as requested. The Nashville Hot wing sauce was pretty good. Finally made it to The Greyson today. We arrived at 11 as we knew the game crowds would start flowing in. We were seating promptly and both of us commented on how nice it was inside. We started off with the Kickin' Fried Shrimp. They were crispy and very flavorful. Enough to share between the 2 of us. I had the Cheese Steak. It was pretty good. A little on the dry side but I would order again. I did leave off the garlic aioli but dipped in the amazing dill fry sauce. Fries are ok. My wife got the buttermilk chicken tenders. They were very good. Very light coating. Slaw had very light dressing. Service was great. We will be back. read more

We were having beers at Corporate Ladder Brewing, so we ordered dinner to-go at Greyson's to eat at the brewery. Unfortunately I was not impressed with most of the food. I ordered the West Coast Burger, and it was really dry & bland. We ordered a few flavors of chicken wings (Cajun dry rub (nothing to write home about), Honey BBQ (it was ok), Stingin' Honey Garlic (pretty good, but it was not spicy at all). We also ordered breaded Ravioli Mozza Bites, which were bland. We also ordered Warm Pretzel Dippers, which were INCREDIBLY delicious!! These were some of the best pretzels I've ever had, and their beer cheese dip was delicious. I would've given The Greyson a 2-star, but their 5-star pretzels bumped it up to a 3 star. If we could give half stars, I would actually give this a 2.5 star. Hubby ordered & picked up the food so I can't say much for the ambiance. He was supposed to get a text msg when the food was ready but they never called or texted him so he walked back over there after 40 mins, and the food was all sitting there ready. So, unfortunately, most of the food was not hot. If we ever order from here again, it would only be to order pretzels to eat at the brewery!! read more

We've been coming here pretty much since they opened every few months or so. We really liked it in the beginning. It's feeling like it's going or has gone the way of Whisky Joe's last we went there. Easily 2+ years ago at this point. And we get having a local hang out, we have ours in Palmetto "proper" but came here when we wanted "a little more". We sat at the last two seats at the bar on the left, restroom side. This is where the bar garnish station is. *This is important further down. Pros: Karleigh, our bartender is a focused, high volume bartender, and 8 months pregnant! She's a rock star! Don't mistake her focus for not being friendly. Someone has to do the heavy lifting! The food-always good. Never been disappointed with anything we've ordered and have REALLY liked a few things like the diablo shrimp app, the nachos, the mahi tacos, their Greyson sauce. Cons: The acoustics. It is SO loud. Inside and outside. They really need to expand to accommodate the capacity as it's almost always busy. Turn your music down! With that many people there trying to have a conversation, the music should be background. Nobody is listening to the music as entertainment. The louder the music, the louder people talk. Take the proactive step and turn your music down. This place, like Whiskey Joe's, is now run by children. Where it used to be a little bit upscale, it is now staffed by very young people. And young in this case means very casual and not a lot of polish. And if that's who you want to be, that's fine. We just won't keep coming back. The casualness, the flipness, the employees mingling by the garnish area, shooting the sh*t, the local/regulars hanging out there, all just a little bit annoying to guests sitting at that end. But the dealbreaker for us was the fact that when garnishing the drinks, servers' fingers were in the jars of the garnishes, digging in them with their bare hands, touching the mouth ends of the straws as they were putting them into the drinks, and tasting a lot drinks that were coming to that end of the bar with their little baby straws so that three or four people had a taste of your drink before it came to your table. A couple of the girls had the bamboo skewers and were playing the game of just stabbing into the filthy cherry jar until they hooked one. A male server dug around in it with his hands until he got one. We didn't finish our food at that point, cashed out and wished Karleigh well. (SHE was not a participant in these antics). I ordered a burger. The bacon cheeseburger to be exact. The bacon jam was great. A little disappointed that the burgers are a frozen patty. not fresh. No way to select how you want it cooked. The water tasted like dirt. Good thing I got a beer as well. The dining area is a bit small inside, and can be quite noisy when full. Luckily it cleared out and it was more pleasant. There is sound deadening panels located high on the walls above the TVs but it's not enough. The option to sit outside was available, being mid July...wasn't doing that. The service was good. Food - we got some apps and a few meals - our server Brynna, gave us a few recommendations and loved that she had honest reviews and feedback (i asked her to choose between two options). Service - our server, Brynna, was super sweet and always smiling - the others also very kind bringing our food - we even spoke with the manager who happened to stop by - he personally introduced himself and welcomed us as first timers. Love that the staff seem proud of their store and make it known, makes us want to come back! We decided to sit outside - lots of fans and tvs, but the tvs weren't overly loud as i saw in another review. Only a parking lot view, but hey, sitting outdoors was still nice with the fans and evening breeze. Inside looked like tables were pretty close and bar was small but also full and poppin! so happy we thought of trying this place for lunch. surprisingly busy for lunch on a thursday, but no need to wait, tables were available inside & on their large outside covered patio. ordered a couple of beers, then for lunch we had the pretzel burger, burger on pretzel bun with beer cheese, LTO, onion straws,bacon and melted american cheese. it was so awesome, was full after just half but i couldn't stop eating it. my friend had the jalapeno burger, Pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, crispy onion straws, brioche bun. it too was enjoyable. the greatest thing are the FRIES, they totally remind me of the FF that they used to serve at the now gone chain, Aurthur Treatures Fish & chips. steak fry cut with ridges to hold onto either the greyson sauce or ketchup. so loved them. menu offers something for everybody, service if friendly & attentive. this is now a new destination added to our list of "go to" places. read more

Doesn't feel welcoming when walking in, the girls/host ignore you when you come in and just stare at you. I had to be the one to said hi how are you and say we want to be seated for 6. When it should be other way around. After sitting down and ordering food and a drink. I was out of a drink for a while and never asked if I wanted another round mean while she asked one of the boys if he wants another round before he was even done. So I went up to the bar myself to get a drink. Definitely need to teach customer service. read more

This place seems to be the hotspot of the area. It is jam-packed. We had a half hour wait. Luckily we got seated in the covered outside patio. The inside was a madhouse and I couldn't imagine enjoying my meal there because all the people waiting for a table were hovering over the people eating. Despite how busy it was, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We started with the jalapeño poppers, which were delicious. They came with the Greyson sauce, which to me was similar to a ranch with a lot of dill. The sauce was quite good. For dinner I had the mushroom burger which came with fries, the Greyson sauce and a pickle. The burger was nice and thick. I definitely got my moneys worth. Any how the place is nice and clean the server was very nice. We order drinks and flat bread first and that was good. My lunch was the cheese steak sandwich and my friend had a burger with jalapeños. They both look and taste good. It was a good lunch. All though for 2 person lunch was &78 so yes it's pricey for a bar food. I've been a regular at Greyson's, stopping in 2-3 times a week since moving to Palmetto. But after my recent experience, I will never return. I came to pick up an order I had already paid for, only to be treated like I hadn't ordered anything at all. The staff was dismissive, and I felt accused of trying to take something I didn't pay for. I went home to get proof, and when I returned, the manager--who falsely claimed to be the owner--reluctantly offered me the food. I told him I just wanted a refund. I paid $47.08 but only got back $44.00. He said, the taxes must be from Door Dash you need to call them. The worst part? The manager refused to give me the owners name, he forgot that everything is public knowledge. read more
