Decided to try out O'Bricks for lunch with my adult children. We ate outside on a perfect Florida spring day. We asked if there was bread, and they have a complementary bread and pesto that was excellent. We each chose something different so we could try four different meals. The fish tacos were great! Great flavor and huge piece of fresh fish. The green beans are an excellent side choice. The grilled salmon was also excellent. The key lime aioli was sweet, but delicious. The crab cake was not deep fried and crispy, but full of large pieces of crab. The homemade potato chips and fries were great. I did prefer the fries. They also have gluten free buns for the burgers. Went for a family dinner and had a great time. Nice bar/restaurant, great for families, groups, and happy hour. Great menu for both dinner and smaller bites - perfect for any occasion. I had the grouper with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was amazing! The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, very firm.. flavorful.. and flaky. Their wine selection was VERY good... a wide variety to select from: California, Argentina, France, Germany, Italy - I was very impressed. Staff were all very nice and welcoming which also helped with the experience. Parking is a little tricky.. we did street parking - I am not sure if there are parking garages/lots nearby.. but we went with metered street parking. Would I go back? Yes, for sure! read more

I went to O'Bricks Irish Pub & Martini Bar and honestly it was a solid little spot. I got the Lola Pinot Noir and the blackened Atlantic salmon and both were good. Salmon + green beans did what they needed to do. They gave me coleslaw too, did I ask for it? no. did I eat it? also no, but that's a personal preference thing. We also got the Mediterranean sampler and that was actually really good. I even tried my mom's martini of the month and I don't even like martinis like that but I would 100% drink that one again. The vibe is kinda in between, you can dress up or show up casual and not feel weird. It's a little loud but in a fun way like good for a date night or girls night. Service was decent, the girl at the bar was nice and clearly doing everything at once, so no complaints there. Drinks aren't insanely strong, but they can be cute depending on what you order. My wine looked like...wine, but my mom's martini had a cute rim. It ended up being around $57 not including tip which honestly felt cheap for everything we got. Only downside is street parking, so be ready to walk a bit if you didn't park right beside it. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area. read more

I've been here many times, as it's my dad and his wife's favorite restaurant, and they've ordered just about everything on the menu with almost no complaints. We came to celebrate my birthday on a Martini Monday, and it did not disappoint. Our server was wonderful and spent time chatting with us, which made the experience even better. The décor is always beautiful and upscale. We started with the firecracker shrimp, which was very crispy while still juicy and packed with flavor. We also may have had one too many martinis--my favorite was the pear martini (I can't remember the exact name), and the snickerdoodle martini was a group favorite. Stopped downtown again at O'Bricks Pub and Martini Bar the cocktails are fantastic and priced just right the food was once again the highlight of our evening the soup of the day was an extremely tasty rich she crab soup which was very enjoyable , my partner had the special of the evening a Chilean sea bass over a light corn risotto which she said was excellent and I had the chicken entree with artichoke hearts sun-dried tomatoes overtop of garlic mashed potato's and side of sautéed spinach the kitchen and bar at O'Bricks just rocks and the professional friendly service matches which makes for a perfect evening. We were recommended this spot about 7 years ago and it is a MUST every time we come to Florida. Food is absolutely incredible, such fresh fish and quality ingredients. Bread and oil starter is perfect, and the firecracker shrimp app is our favorite! Service is so quick and friendly, you truly feel like you are at a five star restaurant without the crazy prices. We stopped here for lunch while in Bradenton and were pleased to find it. It was almost 1 pm and most of the tables were still occupied which is saying a lot because it's a big place. My Fish Tacos ($22) had a lot of fish plus some cabbage, cilantro and a sauce. We also had the half sandwich, half soup ($11) and a diet coke ($3). Service from Shaun P was very good. If you order the shillelagh sandwich, bring a big appetite. Atmosphere was like a big pub but the noise level was low. They have a large bar area and separate dining areas. Very highly recommended. It's near the riverwalk so finding a free, street parking spot can be a challenge but pay lots are nearby. read more

On our last night we decided to go into downtown Bradenton and have a cocktail and pick up some food to go. We arrived after a crazy short drive from our AirBnB easily found street parking and walked in. There was one outside table left and it was such a nice night we sat outside on the patio. It ended up being the perfect spot so we decided to dine there instead. We had the most incredible waitress she was so nice and helpful with recommendations. We ordered our drinks and she asked if we would like pesto and bread of course being the carb lover I am I eagerly said yes bring on the bread!! It was so good little pillow shaped rolls that were so good with the pesto. I had the buffalo salad with buffaloed onion rings, my husband got the gazpacho, and my kiddo had a kids grilled cheese and fries we ended up adding the kids ice cream after too and she was over the moon! The buffalo salad was better than I thought it was going to be the spicy salty factor with the cooling blue cheese and iceberg lettuce was so tasty! They also added carrots and cucumbers to round it out. It was large portion and pretty filling. The onion rings were perfectly fried and the buffalo sauce was just the right amount of spicy! Bob had never tried gazpacho before and I have to say he was not a fan but that's how it goes sometimes when you try something new. My kiddo loved her grill cheese and French fries she ate really good and we didn't have to do a run to a very famous fast food place afterwards which is a major mom win!! Also the roast beet salad has a lightly breaded and fried goat cheese ball on top that was really good. I had the fish with risotto and couldn't finish it, but it was delicious. Despite being an Irish pub by name, the selection of menu items was not specifically Irish. They did offer an outstanding shepherds pie and fish and chips, but it was the other items that were a surprise. They stuffed banana peppers were outstanding, not short jalapeños, but 6-8 inch long each with a cream cheese filling. The pesto served with dinner rolls was a surprise. They have an assortment of some of the most affordable burgers in the area, and the Parmesan red bliss potatoes were cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very responsive to our needs and we had a table of 8. The room we were seated in did not give off an Irish vibe, but was very well decorated to match the Bradenton beach area. Very nice place to spend our last evening in the area. We finished with the peanut butter pie, which did not disappoint. Would dine here again. read more

As we arrived, we were excited to see outdoor seating and were able to grab our own high top outdoor table. I appreciated the lighting in the table (attached to the umbrella) and the location was great. The menu had a ton of appealing options, including a veggie burger featuring a Beyond patty, which I was stoked to see because most menus don't have great, proteinaceous options for the vegetarians. I ordered the crab cake because of all the reviews that highlight the quality and I can tell you they are spot on. It was cooked perfectly and felt substantial and uber fresh! My favorite part? The martini section of the menu! There is truly an option for everyone, whether you like gin, vodka, or tequila.they also had seasonal options! I opted for the Naked espresso martini (made with espresso, some coffee liqueur, and I opted for tequila rather than vodka). Great experience at O'Bricks! Came on a recommendation for Martini Monday and it did not disappoint! I walked in for dinner and snagged an outdoor table. The martini Monday specials were awesome! I opted for a classic dirty martini with bleu cheese olives and it was fantastic. I always enjoy my trips to O'Bricks. They have a really good selection of craft beers and top shelf liquors. The food is very good. The soups are home made and the menu is extensive. The burgers, chili, meatloaf, crab cakes, fish and chips are all outstanding. There are so many more great options too. On my next trip I will take some pictures to post. It does get very crowded on popular nights, holidays and weekends so be prepared to wait for a table. I try to get there early and get a seat at the bar. a girls' trip brought us to o'bricks. i mean irish pub and martini bar??? we enjoyed a cocktail outside whiskey waiting for our reservation. we were seated in the martini section of the restaurant-it was lovely. the warm bread and pesto oil and vinegar was a perfect starter. everyone's entrees were wonderful, but my red snapper was absolutely outstanding! warm and flakey and seasoned to perfection. highly recommend bricks if you're in downtown bradenton. read more

I will say that this was quite an experience just finding the place. I'm not familiar with the area and I had to go to the law enforcement place next-door as my google maps on my phone indicated that's where it was. The dispatcher girl inside told me that Obricks was down the street. funny thing was, I circled the building twice looking for parking because parking is extremely sparse in the area. I went behind the building but it looked like it was all reserved and for employees only. So, I circled the building a second time and accidentally found - on street parking. My dining companion parked another block or two away in public parking which I was not aware of. Walking in, me and my buddy seemed kind of underdressed, being in shorts and a T-shirt and many people were in dress shirts, slacks and several had ties. My friend pointed out, that was probably because the government administration building next-door probably had a lot of employees who dined here, and they were required to be dressed up for their jobs. Good point! Service was decent. We each had martini's which were excellent. Followed by a local beer from the area which was also good. He had the grouper sandwich and was quite pleased with it. I had the fried green tomato BLT sandwich which had some garlic aïoli and possibly a dab of horseradish. The thing was excellent . Along with a side of apple slaw which was an interesting choice but also quite tasty. Service was good. And they didn't rush us out of there, even though we sat there talking for several hours , since I don't see my friend often, and we were trying to catch up. So props to OBricks for that. Still, I was kind of frustrated with trying to find thr place getting in there initially, and the confusion in the beginning as there is two rooms with entrance doors, so it was actually kind of confusing as to which door was actually the entrance door. So, I was seated first and waited for my buddy, while he made his way in and eventually found me, so a lot of confusion at the beginning. but decent food, decent drinks,, service was good, I would return.
