First time visit and I will go back. Talk about taste. The homemade fried chips are worth a 30 minute drive. Had the Gyro with chips and could not finish the chips due to serving size. Huge. No complaints. I ordered a it was good. I loved the seasoned fries. Rather than the traditional commercial seasoned fries they were done the way I would do then at home. This place is very small but we weren't there during a rush, I hear it can get crowded at lunch-plan accordingly. I've only tried the Philly so can't say first hand how other items are. I typed "Philly cheesesteak" into Yelp and found this place. I was not disappointed. I phoned my order in and it was ready when my husband arrived to pick it up (I waited in the car so no details about the interior). I ordered a 12 inch Philly and seasoned fries. 1st and most importantly, my name was written on the Togo box and it was spelled correctly! This is a big deal to me because I have an unconventionally spelled common name and no one ever gets it right. My fries were hot and fresh but there was not even a dash of seasoning on them. The sandwich was huge. Two six inch sections wrapped separately in foil. There was PLENTY of meat and a proportionate amount of cheese & veggies. The Taste was good. Haven't really heard about this place and i came upon it on a random day in search for food. Their prices were increased due to covid which is understandable BUT their atmosphere and service was terrible, to say the least. FIRST and foremost they took forever to make the food, so if you are on time limit do not hurt yourself trying to eat here. SECOND when i got my food they forgot to give me my extra fries that was at a amazing price of 6 DOLLARS and half filled the box and then forgot to season them. THIRDLY when i got home to eat my food i paid my hard earn money for, the whole order was wrong i asked for a turkey burger with only cheese, but to my surprise i had a beefy burnt hamburger deluxe with onions tomatoes and god forbidden mayo and the patty was cooked all the way through. I tried this place on the recommendation of a local and he certainly did not steer me wrong. I had the 6 inch Philly Steak Sandwich and a fountain drink. Total cost was just under $8 and it was excellent. I'm a big eater and this little sandwich was just right for a lunch that would fill me up but wouldn't put me into an afternoon food coma. The food was great, the price was great, but the whole process of ordering and getting my food was disorganized and I wasn't sure what was going on half the time. I went to the restaurant while on break and before entering the restaurant a note read "due to the meat shortage the price of the food increased " which is understandable. The environment was very hostile and all over the place. My order was messed up twice as they tired to give me the wrong burger and they still proceeded to give me the wrong burger after telling me it was the correct order. I ordered a turkey burger with nothing on it and I ended up with a beef burger with everything on it. They almost forgot my fries and was mixing everyone orders at the countertop. No one knew who order belonged to who and it was frustrating as my break was only 45 minutes and I'm wasting time trying to correct my order. The presentation of my food was poor and my fries were over seasoned. When she said seasoned fries I thought it would've been evenly seasoned instead of it being thrown on top of my fries as if they were in a rush. Pop's Deli is absolutely delicious! Definitely not in the ideal area, but well worth the 10 minute drive into Memphis. I got the Chilean sandwich and homemade chips, and they were FANTASTIC! Probably the best homemade chips I've ever had. The Chilean Sandwich was fresh and so flavorful. My mom and sister ordered the Philly Cheesesteaks and they were just as impressed as I am. I had the Philly. It was the bomb-diggity! I also had the potato chips. They were okay. Nothing special. I will be trying the fries next time. Their restaurant inside is clean and spacious. I had their sweet tea; it is the perfect consistency -not overpowering in the sweetness department, which is how I like my sweet tea. This place is a small mom and pop looking shop near the warehouse area in Memphis. Stopped by for lunch at the suggestion of a co-worker and when we arrived it was packed with no tables in sight so we knew it had to be good. I ordered the memphis BBQ burger and the burger size was very generous, more than i was expecting even though i was told to expect more then other places serve! The burgers was great with just the right balance of all the ingredients (some places i find add way too much sauce on these types of burgers).
