Some orders never showed up so we had to go ask about them. The food is mediocre at best. My Reuben had maybe a teaspoon of dressing and a teaspoon of sauerkraut. The corned beef had no taste and the bread is colored to look like rye bread but has none of the flavor. This place is in a strip mall on a small side street. Plenty of parking spots. The place has plenty of seats on the inside. Customer service is always hit or miss here. The lack of customer service is due to staffing issues and not the staff themselves. I ordered online and showed up 10 minutes later than planned. My food was still not ready. It took 5 minutes for the cashier to get to me because she had to answer two phone calls. This was not the cashier's problem but a lack of staff. The food I got tasted good but could have been better quality. The Savanna Salad looked like it was missing ingredients but I may have been mistaken. read more

During the 45 minutes we've been here I haven't seen even one example of a front-of-house employee who could outpace faster the average nursing home resident. 17 to 20 year olds that take slow tiny steps to deliver food or restock. In my opinion staff can make all the difference in your dining experience. Each time i come here, it's nothing but smiles and nice attitudes. Not people wishing they weren't there and taking it out on you. This particular location also gave me a discount for my door dasher grabbing the wrong order. It took me months before I was able to grab that, and I'm still not sure if they ever found the note about it but they kept their word and gave me my meal. Service is fantastic but my gluten free bread- yes, I have a real allergy- was burnt and literally 1 piece of roast beef and a tiny bit of cheese. I ate it to try it and it was truly awful. Pitiful portion. Potato soup was great. Never had a sandwich from anywhere look and taste so bad. My husband and I agreed not to come back. Management was very kind to me today. Service was excellent. Food was fresh and yummy. 100% recommend.

We waited for our food for 50 minutes when there was only about 5 other occupied tables in the restaurant when we arrived. More people showed up later, but their orders were placed after us. They didn't seem short staffed, just seems the staff they have doesn't know what they're doing, or they simply just didn't care. When we asked for an update on our food, the employee came back and said "they are plating it up now" and brought PART of our order 10 minutes later. The rest of our order didn't come for another 10 minutes after that. I highly suggest not coming to this location, as it is by far the worst in the area. Their food is also not very good quality at this location, and the service is even worse. Don't waste your money here. read more

During my recent visit to McAllister, I was incredibly disappointed with my overall experience. The salad I ordered failed to live up to the deliciousness I had enjoyed during previous visits. The lettuce appeared old and lacked the freshness I had come to expect. To make matters worse, the sweet tea I ordered was unsweet, which was a stark contrast to the perfectly sweetened beverages I had enjoyed before. The manager, who should have been overseeing operations, seemed disengaged with earbuds in. The restaurant's cleanliness was also subpar, with a nasty floor that gave an unfavorable impression. The state of the bathrooms was equally appalling, leaving me utterly disgusted. Without a doubt, this was my worst visit ever to McAllister, and it has left me questioning whether I should continue patronizing the establishment. The music lacked taste! read more

Such disappointing results after placing a to go order for a spud max (specifying on the phone that I was slumped on portions last time) and receiving a huge potato with about as much meat topped on it to fit in the small condiment jar that the sour cream came in. I went back inside and questioned whether it was an accurate depiction of what the dish was created to be and one of their managers stood by the skimped portioned potato. When a to go order is called in, if (and I mean if) you can get them to answer the phone they start off by telling you it's going to be a 45 minute wait to get a cold sandwich????!!!! There is not many people inside when you go inside and at least 5-6 workers. She. You do get your food half the time it's not even right. The servers are more worried about closing down the other side of the restaurant so they can leave at 7pm instead of trying to get food out. Terrible. read more

Waited 40 minutes at the restaurant for an order I placed online well before I got there. The tomatoes and lettuce were frozen. Chocolate chip cookie was so hard I could not even bite it. Front of restaurant was not stocked (no lids) and dirty. Paid $38 for two sandwiches, 2 drinks and a rock they called a cookie. It took 30 minutes to get the food as on post stated and no one had a since of urgency when it came to service. I know lunch time can very busy but there should have been at least 2 on the front counter and a better system to get the food out. Not sure if they ran out of spoons but they gave me a fork with my soup and I am just happy the hotel I am staying at has a kitchen so I can enjoy my soup. This is my first time visiting a McAlister's and I will give the chain another chance at some point. read more
