I've been here about 4-5 times. The service has been terrible every time. The employees are pretty much rude. I assume they make minimum wage and do not care at all. So I ordered 4 sandwiches for 4 people in my car. When he gave me the sandwiches, they were room temperature. They were soggy and super thin sandwiches. I had 2 meat combo with soda, biscuit and mash potato. Chicken was moist and very crispy. I ordered spicy and I found breast and wing to just be mild. Not the end of the world. Mash potato had to much cumin in the gravy for my taste. Still tasty. Wife had the chicken strips and it was a huge 5 piece combo. Very tasty. Cajun fries, mild in taste. Still good. If I had a major issue it was that the soda machine needs calibration. I am very particular with my soda. It needs to be perfect. Overall, I would certainly visit this location of Popeyes again. This place is garbage. Ordered takeout food last night and waited there for an hour and they said they didnt have my order. None of the staff tried to help or fix the problem. Stopped by Popeyes in Haledon. 1st time here. The staff here is friendly and greeted us with a smile. We ordered the $20.00 Holiday Meal which consists of 9 pieces of spicy chicken, 2 large sides ( a mash potatoes and rice & beans) and biscuits. We don't like biscuits so we asked the manager if it's possible to exchange it for some other sides, he agreed to exchange it for a small side which suited us fine. So my wife opted for the green beans. As usual the chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Delicious and flavorful with just the right spiciness. The mash is smashingly delicious and the rice & beans was perfect, my wife's green beans had pieces of meat and it was so good. This is your typical Popeyes restaurant. I ordered an 8 piece leg and thigh meal and even though it was packed the service was prompt. Chicken tasted pretty good and wasn't greasy. This was seriously the most painfully slow "fast food" experience I've ever had. Good lord.
