Pop donuts today. Pop donuts tomorrow. They will always be my fav!! The donuts & kolaches are delicious. I know a few people who claim they've had the best apple fritter from another donut shop in town. I disagree. Pop donut has THE BEST apple fritter in town! The service is always nice & professional. If you opt to sit inside, the shop has a few tables and it's a comfortable environment. Pro tip. Arrive early for the best selection to choose from. read more

For years I drove pass this place and never once thought to go in. Which is why I made a post about it about a week ago and found out that everyone had been holding this place hostage because no one ever told me how good they were. Those that know me know I'm a Krispy Kreme guy at heart and I hate Dunkin Donuts with a passion (I don't like cake donuts). However this place is just simply GOAT'D because it's definitely better then Krispy Kreme. Ladies and gentlemen this place is POP DONUT which I believe is only by a very nice Asian family. Everything is made fresh every day. They open up from 5am to 2pm Tuesday through Sunday. Fair warning if you get there late most of the good stuff is gone you have to get there as early as possible. After tasting what I tasted I understand why. The donuts are pillowy soft and taste so fresh and they even sell breakfast sandwiches. Believe me when I say you have to go here and as long as they are open I will never by Krispy Kreme again and you can catch me on my cheat days right here for sure! I gave these donuts to friends and everyone enjoyed them and I hope you do as well. Pop Donuts is located at 1819 Center Point Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35215 205-856-3980 read more

Pop Donuts - Donuts Near Me - Birmingham, Alabama

pastries are out of this world and good prices. The people there are very friendly have been buying there for years.

Pop Donuts is one of my favorite doughnuts places in Birmingham! They have amazing doughnut holes that are always fresh. The strip mall area is not the best location with the busy parkway but it's worth it. I noticed they also have some breakfast options that I may have to give a try to! read more

The employees were very kind and patient and the glaze donuts and donut holes are 10/10 better than Krispy cream and very good prices. I would recommend to all of my friends and family! read more

Pop Donuts - All donuts were amazing - Donuts Near Me - Birmingham, Alabama

Oh YUMMMM!!! I have a co-worker that brings in treats from here twice a week. I finally had a chance to stop by and pick up a few items to take home. Can I just say how amazing the kolaches are! Soft yeast rolls stuffed with Conecuh sausage or smoked sausage. They're delicious. The Apple fritters have the perfect fried crunchy and glazed edges and pieces of diced apple throughout. But the doughnut holes, oh boy!! We all know how good doughnut holes are, but I believe that these are truly on another level. Soft, great yeast flavor and then that glaze all over them!!! This is a definite must try! The people working there are very nice and now I just have to try to restrain myself from going almost daily since it's so close to my office! read more

the best donuts I've ever had. the employees were extremely helpful and kind. It's a very good environent I will be back very soon

Best Donuts in town. Love cream filled and apple fritters can't be beat. Worth the trip.

Delicious and fresh pastries; great service. Best value around! This place is a well-kept secret.

Who doesn't love having fresh donuts made daily with tender loving care? Unlike most donut shops that shipped out there products to be sold at other locations, you'll walk in to see them actually making the donuts from scratch. Not only are the donuts good, but they sell them at a affordable cost compare to big name franchise. Prepare yourself if you're coming in 30 minutes after open because they might not have all the donuts made just yet. I know everyone feel unease about Center Point, but trust me, this is one of the decent places to try out if you're ever in the area since you'll be getting the best of both world which is tasty donuts and friendly customer service. read more

I love this place. They have some of the best donuts and always have a fresh, and wide selection. Also, their breakfast sandwiches are great. It has now turned into mine and my boyfriend's Sunday morning routine to stop by for breakfast. read more

Donuts are great; however, they need a good pest control servicing. The roaches are right in your face.

My boyfriend had been telling me about this place for weeks before I finally flew down south and he got to bring me there. These donuts are so good that we made three trips in the few days that I was down. I'm talking so good that we woke up around 5:30am to bust over there and get them at their freshest, lol. I am a fan of the raised glaze donut that just melts in your mouth and the apple fritter. Jesus, they are so good. They are so light and perfect like they floated down from heaven! My boyfriend is a big fan of the blueberry cake donut...and they are so cheap that you can afford a half dozen and try a whole slew of them! I highly recommend this place and am just so sad that they are a 1,000 miles away from me! EDIT: I finally tried their Kolaches and they have changed my life. Balance out all the sugar with a savory kolache and you'll be good to go. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE. read more

Delicious treats at great prices- good breakfast destination if you're in the area. Recommend the apple fritter, personally.

I have been a regular customer for 10 years now and have sampled everything on the menu and I have to say EVERYTHING is good! I love the crispy apple fritters, the tender bear claws, the spicey kolaches and the wonderful variety of doughnuts. I have a 6yr old who thinks (me too) that the day is always better started off at Pops... read more

By far the best donut I've ever had. Had regular glazed and found it buttery soft - better than KK in my book!

Disclaimer, I can't speak about the ambience or service of the spot because I've never physically been here. My coworker brings donuts from here often, it's always a better work day when I see box this in the office. They are probably the best donuts in the city, you can tell they are made with real ingredients. I'll take them over Shipley's and Dunkin's anytime! read more

Best donuts EVER! Beats Krispy Kreme out hands down! Donut holes are addictive! Customer service excellent!

Love this place!!! The donuts are always so fresh and the service here is great. My favorite donuts here are the chocolate glazed & the donut holes! Not to mention the price---I always total less than $8. My family and I love Pops and most definitely will be back. read more

Pops has great doughnut holes and coffee but my last visit I saw a baby roach on my coffee lid. I was so disappointed and will not be back!!

The measure of a good donut is how well the dough is cooked. Finally a place that is more about donut than crazy flavors. Also the price and service are great! This place is truly worth the drive. It is just what the donut scene in Birmingham was needing! Top notch basic donuts! read more

Very good food and prices are low and reasonable. Parking lot is a little small and if you are not looking good you could miss it. But I would definitely recommend this place to fix your sweet tooth. read more

Pop Donuts is definitely our go to place for donuts! Their Apple fritters are my absolute favorite! Overall, everything they have is good!

I'm not a huge fan of sweets bit a friend brought me treats from this place a little while back and it stuck on my mind. I was out early and was passing by so I stopped in. There's not a huge selection but EVERYTHING looked good. I settled on a blueberry cake doughnut and an apple fritter. Loved the texture and taste of the blueberry doughnut--so much that I didn't worry about the coffee I was gonna make. Started the apple fritter and wow... it was almost crisp on the edges and really delicious but I could have used more apple flavor. Overall, it was as wonderful an experience as I remembered and worth going out of the way in the morning! read more

These are some of the best donuts I have had since I moved to Alabama. They open extremely early and that's the best time to go because by noon their is slim picking left behind read more

I have driven by this hole in the wall shop hundreds of times. Thank goodness I finally stopped and gave it a shot. Definitely my new favorite donut stop! The donuts melted in your mouth and the price is so cheap you gain 50 pounds for $5. Workers were very nice and the coffee was even pretty decent. The only downside... Maybe not the most comfortable place to hang out. We got ours to go, so no problem. If you find yourself driving down the parkway do yourself a favor and stop in. read more

This place has the best donuts I've ever had! I stopped in earlier this week, figuring I'd give them a try. I've been back twice already sine then. They're addictive! They've had a wide variety of treats each time I've been in - several glazed and cake donut varieties, donut holes, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, donut twists, apple fritters, eclairs, kolaches, and biscuits. They also have coffee, juices, and sodas. Not only does everything (or at least everything I've tried) taste great, but the prices are reasonable and the people are super friendly! Discovering this place is probably going to ruin my diet, but it's totally worth it! read more

I live a few miles from here so going to pick them up on the way to work is very convenient. Pricing is great to me. Very friendly lady that is always working there. Great selections of drinks that you can purchase to have with your selections. They have breakfast sandwhiches, donuts and drinks. Good little place to stop. Get there early.... Some things are too good to last! read more

Donuts are always fresh. Our family's favorite donut shop. Our children love the kolaches.

Best donuts on earth!! Better than Krispy Kreme (and I LOVE Krispy Kreme). Way better than Dunkin. Pop delivers to gas stations around Birmingham and I used to get their donut holes on my way to or from school when I was having a bad day and they ALWAYS brightened my day. I know it sounds silly to fall in love with gas station donuts, but they were that good so I had to go visit the actual shop. It was a 20 minute drive, but one that I will gladly make any time now. The physical shop is so misleading. It's a kind of "hole in the wall" type place but one of the best kept secrets in Birmingham. Their donuts are light and airy, but almost have a crispness to them on the outside. The icing is perfection, it stays the same soft smooth consistency even after it "dries". My number one recommendation is the donut holes, second would be a regular donut, third would be a chocolate iced donut with sprinkles, and last but certainly not least, the apple fritters! Pop also has breakfast foods like kolaches. They open pretty early in the morning and they deliver earlllly to the gas stations every morning!!! So pick some up on your way to work or school. read more

Best donuts in town at an unbelievable price! The donuts are light and airy not greasy like Krispy Kreme. The cake donuts are light and not thick and choking like the other name band place. The only cake donut I've ever been able to eat. The glaze are fluffy they are not overly sweet just perfect. You will need to buy extra because you can't eat just one or two. The breakfast sandwiches are also far above the local fast food spots. Everything is made fresh every morning. Get there early because they close at 2pm daily. I would say the prices are CHEAP but not the taste or quality. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The same staff have been working there for years. No kids at the counter or working in the back. Must try place not fancy just plan good at a fair price. A++++ read more

These are the best donuts hands down. Always hot and always fresh. I've paid a lot of money at specialty shops but none came close to pops. I'm A Forever Customer ! read more

Best Apple fritters and eclairs I've ever had and I am a serious critic of pastry art. The people where I work(B'ham) have started driving out to Centerpoint to get this product it is so good. Don't expect KK when you get their glazed tho... get there before 2PM, usually they sell out . read more

The Donut holes are so good!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't explain just how delicious they are. My friend told me about them and I now go at least once a week. I get mine, my child and my boyfriend some. They are fast & friendly also!! read more
