Right after putting in an inquiry on here, I got a message and then a phone call not long after that. I scheduled for the 2-4pm time frame for someone to come and give me a free estimate, and two guys showed up at 1:53pm. I was surprised, because I was told I would get a text, but I didn't. It didn't work in their system for some reason, I saw him try in front of me. But it was a pleasant surprise, I was available! Their names were Elmer and Kingston. They assessed the door, told me what they would have to do to fix it, gave me the honest price point, and asked me whether I wanted to hold off or have it done immediately. I decide to just get it done, and so I asked them to hold on for me to secure my cats so they wouldn't run outside. They literally had to take the door off of the hinges! They used that time to go grab tools and a patiently waited for me to let them know when my cats were secured. The job didn't take that long, I didn't actually time it.... Maybe about 40 minutes? They were efficient and really did their thing. So now, my door is fixed and I'm ready to go on vacation. They aren't the closest geographically, but they do serve the entire area. Would recommend if your door is having issues!

We were told by a mechanic that our key was causing our car to start (basically the chip in the key…read morefailed), and to have the key reprogrammed by a locksmith. After having a really bad experience with another mobile locksmith (to the point we didn't even allow him to look at the car), I called MD 24/7 and Eli sent Byron right over (meaning in less than an half hour). Byron is what customer service dreams are made of. He was friendly and patient with a lock novice like me. He took the time to explain how my key worked and how it works with the cars security system. Eventually (after a couple to calls to confirm his suspicions), he told me that it actually is not the key that is causing the problem, but maybe the electrical system of the car. He then patiently explained it again to my SO (because, honestly, I could not grasp it enough to explain to someone else). After all the time he spent diagnosing that that key is not the issue (which you know, the average person would have made the key, charged us, and left before us figuring out it has nothing to do with the key), he didn't charge us, since we didn't really use his services! Byron spoke very highly of the company (which is always wonderful that the employees are happy because their bosses treat them well). He was patient and thorough. I will shout from the rooftops about how awesome this company is, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Once again I let my emotions get the better of me before I actually looked for solutions with the…read morecompany. My first review was truthful, but becuase a lot of the blame was mine for not being diligent in reviewing costs before agreeing to the work, I can only blame myself. My review did not reflect that as well as I wanted it to show. That said, after speaking with the technician, they are reducing some of the installation cost and replacing the deadbolt with a thinner profile at no extra charge. I should have called them first, instead of venting online. Thus the reason I don't like the ability to write quick reviews. I would definitely reccomend this company to you for your locksmith needs. Just be sure to confirm the cost before agreeing to the work so that you are not surprised. Again, the technician was professional, kind, and easy to work with. His work was done well and we are happy with the functionality and quality of the locks. I really appreciated the fact that he took time to listen to my concerns and offer good advice without trying to upsale me to more expensive locks than I needed. Again, after calling them and talking through my frustrations at the total cost, they showed kindness and concern when they could have blown me off and not cared. A high quality locksmith with quality products is not cheap, but in the long run will be worth the cost. I will definitely be calling them back for any future locksmith needs.
