Around 11am today, the unions on our backwash assembly broke, rendering the pump and filter inoperable, all while there was quite a bit of remaining dirt from last night in the new pool. The new surface is susceptible to staining and so we couldn't afford to have the pool pump/filter be down for several days. I called many companies and got a hold of Prickly Pools. They advised that their regular distributors were closed for the long weekend, but said they'd call Leslies to see if they could locate the part, and if located could come tomorrow to complete the repair. They ended up locating the part at a Leslies close to our home, so after asking nicely for them to come today, they agreed!! The technician arrived, and advised that we didn't have much pvc left once the broken part was cut off, and that he may have to replumb a lot of additional areas. But, he found a solution using a tool so he didn't have to replumb the additional areas. I appreciated his honesty and creativity in finding a solution that saved me money. I've had a great experience, and it's nice to know that honest, timely and overall great customer service still exists. I was impressed with their offer to call around to Leslies to find the part, agreeing to repair same day at my request, and being honest by coming up with a solution to avoid a more costly replumb. Highly recommend this company!!

We soon realized that the filters and the pumps needed to be replaced and that the pool would need to be maintained all year for best care. Plus, we aren't in town all the time and I certainly wouldn't want the pool to turn green! We called Del Sol Pool Services to come out. They were very professional and showed up right on time. August was very thorough when explaining exactly what we needed to do to get the pool in proper swimming condition. The price was perfect and I am so happy I now have a regular pool service guy!

Then he got in the truck and drove off. Not sure if he is an employee of Viper Pools or not. I called the number on the truck and the person who answered allegedly said she had "sold one of their trucks so it is not related to her business." If you go to the LA fitness on rio Salado in Mesa STAY SAFE, something definitely off with this guy, he looked like he was high off of something.

That's when Jeff came to our rescue. Jeff tried to salvage the motor my husband bought and tried to install, but alas it was beyond repair. I tell you all this so that you know two things: 1. I asked them about performing a specific service and I was never given a quote or asked to set up a date to perform that. When they arrived to service my pool, certain tasks were done without asking my permission first. In the quote they provided me, they failed to notify me up front about additional costs. I had to really go out of my way to ask about how payments were structured and charged. I think Luke is a very nice man. I don't think any of the above was done out of malice or ill intent. I just think they are very laid back and disorganized for my preference. For many people, this approach works for them. I think he does care about his clients. I think they do a good job of maintaining your pool and equipment. However, they were a little too laid back for my preference but I still think they are a very good company.
