We are very happy with the outcome of our pool project with Pool Towne. Like any large project, there were a few hiccups along the way, but we appreciated how Leesa and Brian handled everything. They were professional, cooperative, supportive, and willing to work with us to address our concerns and find solutions. Gina: She was kind, responsive, and a great communicator throughout the phase II process. Victor: recently replaced our liner. He was professional, courteous, and made sure the issue was taken care of properly. Toni-electrician: wonderful to work with. He was professional, helpful, and made the process easy for us. Overall, we are very happy with how everything turned out and are excited to enjoy our new pool. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Pool Town from start to finish! The sales room is beautiful, and the entire team was excellent with communication throughout the process. Everything was done on time, professionally, and as promised. We're especially happy that they were able to get our pool completed in time for our daughter's birthday party in August. It was coming down to the wire and they knew it was important to us, and got it done. Highly recommend Pool Town to anyone considering a pool! read more

The quality of work from Pool Town blew us away. You can tell these guys actually care about doing it right instead of just rushing through it. The tile and finishing details are so clean, our neighbors keep asking who did our pool read more

We are happy with our pool. Pool town did a good job moving us through each stage of the process. Communication was good. After the patio was completed and we were finally able to get into the pool, we noticed 2 areas where the liner had popped out from the track. Pool town sent someone over within 2 days and had it fixed. This seems like a very good sign that they stand by their work. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Pool Town from start to finish! Billy was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect pool location while making the entire process easy to understand. Sandi kept everything on track with excavation scheduling, and Mollie was fantastic throughout construction, keeping us informed every step of the way. Erik and Brian took the time to thoroughly explain all of the equipment and have continued to assist with service whenever needed. Lisa made the permit process seamless and stress-free, while Gina and Hailey were extremely helpful with liner selection and installation. Most importantly, Leesa in customer care continues to go above and beyond long after installation, treating customers like family and making sure every need is met. The professionalism, communication, and dedication from the entire team were outstanding. We were so happy with Pool Town that two of our neighbors ended up using them as well. Highly recommend Pool Town to anyone looking for a company that truly cares about their customers. read more

Pool Town - Pool - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Howell Township, New Jersey

I would stay away from this company. I got my pool installed in 2022....all the work was subcontracted. The pool motor just went....2 of the Pool leds stopped working. Now the mechanical timer isn't working. Called Pooltown and apparently nothing is under warranty anymore. I don't know if it's the quality of the parts or the work done by pool town. After spending close to 80k yoh would thing they would be more helpful. read more

They do nice work and have nice on site personal, but be prepared to be the GC and do all of the coordination on your project. Also expect lots of delays. They don't help with the township approvals, so be prepared to do all the coordination on that. The engineering consultants they use are unreliable (they went through 2 on our project). The way they handle projects by making you sign a contract, then wait to get pricing for additional work like the hardscaping, water features is extremely frustrating as you will wait until the work starts and it's time for them move and then get hammered with extras. We also had an issue where our site contractor broke a pipe that needed to be moved for our water feature and Pooltown threatened to void our warranty if we didn't pay 9k to drain the pool and have their team inspect all lines as part of the repair since they said it would take multiple days to fix. We ended up paying 6k to have them come out for a day to make the repair and weren't credited back any money. At the end of the day, our pool looks nice, but it's certainly not worth the headaches and terrible service. Not the turnkey experience they advertise and not a positive experience overall. read more

Our pool excavation from start to finish was exceptional. Billy was an excellent sales person. Leesa in customer care was very kind, knowledgeable, & patient with any questions I had. Also, excel pool service is the pool repair, liners, opening closing team that Pooltown uses. Jenee is a senior member of that team & she was also very helpful & courteous. I am thankful for the experience I had, and would recommend Pooltown to anyone looking to have an inground pool in there home. read more

This company will nickel and dime you into the poor house. Every single step of the installation process there were additional charges. They will find a way to add charges or cost onto anything. They recently added a Warranty charge to use your warranty! Now the concrete around my pool is beginning to crumble 2 years after installation. read more

We spent $60K cash on a pool that we have not been able to use to date. Read the reviews!! DO NOT do business with this company. The failed to properly connect the lines to the skimmer resulting in the water dropping below the skimmer level within 3 days of initially filling the pool. I sent the company an EMAIL with pictures 3 days after they filled the pool letting them know the water was not holding. They instructed me to put more water in the pool and send I new pictures. They NEVER sent anyone to determine why the pool won't hold water above the bottom of the skimmer. I went back and forth with this company and their empty promises just to find out what I already knew. The line was not connected correctly resulting in the water dripping into the ground. We spent 3 years chasing these people for answers trying to get them to fix the pool. Empty promises from Chris who never follows up unless you contact him SEVERAL times, to the owner who refused to give a valid reason as to why no one came to look at the pool after I raised the issue. There are plenty of other companies who value their clients. GO ELSEWHERE! READ THE REVIEWS! read more

UPDATED REVIEW. This seems awful, but here I am back again with yet another bad review for Pool Town. Unlike my last review that was requested to be taken down, this one will stay here as a cautionary tale. In the initial stage of my 10 x 20 ft. plunge pool cocktail installation in July, the company had issues that included (1) damaging my neighbor's water meter cap, (2) damaging my concrete steps, (3) grading my backyard higher than the privacy fence, and (4) bad communication regarding the finishing steps. After my 1 star review was posted in November, my pool was finished the next day. All areas were addressed----MIRACLE! Leesa called me, while shopping at the Supermarket, to lament about the service I received. We were cut off numerous times while she was shopping, but she mentioned that I should redeem a gift certificate for taking down my negative review, and that the company would make things right. Fast forward a week later with freezing temperatures, I receive the most helpless responses to my texts. Keep in mind that temperatures in our area are now below recommendations for keeping an unheated pool open. Even though this pool is heated, it still looks like the black lagoon and with no instructions for heating. No one can even coordinate how this will happen. Pool Town suggested that we record the subcontractor reviewing the steps so we don't forget in the Spring! I am beyond embarrassed for Pool Town and I can't wait for the cleaning and orientation to be over. They can't even coordinate that final step of the process. I would hate for anyone else to be treated in this way. UPDATE 11/14/25 1. You should never work with a company that tries to shift blame. If there are patterns of miscommunication and errors---you are not alone. Even today, I had a pool company tell me I'm not alone in this experience. My pool is STILL a black lagooon and Pool Town told a customer to just wait until the Spring for a clean opening. 2. Multiple issues---I hope your pool doesn't have my issues. It's 11-14 (almost 3 months later) and my basic cocktail pool is still not open. Don't do this to yourself. If you read how they write about me, a working professional, you understand. 3. "After hours."-It's funny that a company will ghost you will they have all your money and then blame you for working when they drown you in calls after your 1 star review. 4. Transparency matters. If you want to have a full discussion about what happened here, I'm happy to talk before you make up your mind. I can also provide all of the FACTS as you need them. UPDATED 12/9/25 After hiring our own company to keep the pool opened and cleaned for final inspection (scheduled for 12/17), we received an email today communicating "Phase 4" of the project: "We've just received confirmation from Pool Town that your pool project is complete! For the next year, I'll be your primary contact for all service-related questions. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need any help." Unless you've been living under a rock, it's the winter and temperatures are not optimal for having the pool still open. This company is honestly awful. I thought we were rid of them, and then I got follow up emails asking for our final $10.00 payment. You can't make it up. They didn't fulfill the contract AND they still haven't delivered on the cover that we paid for. read more

Thinking about having a pool installed? I would strongly caution against using Pool Town. The sales team was wonderful -- in the beginning. So good, in fact, that we followed every recommendation they made and installed everything suggested. We even trusted them to handle the opening and closing of our pool. Now onto customer service, which has been an entirely different experience. While they are selling and upselling you, you would think there would be some explanation about the proper use and maintenance of the systems they install. You'd be wrong. That was issue number one. Now, heading into only our second season, we are dealing with creases in the liner and cracking in the stamped concrete in multiple sections. That is issue number two. I have spoken with customer service more than 20 times, and we still have no acceptable resolution. To make matters worse, the general manager will not even return our calls. Being ignored over issues they should absolutely stand behind is the foundation of bad customer service -- especially when the design and systems were entirely their doing. Their refusal to take accountability says a lot about the quality of their work. That is the biggest red flag of all, and issue number three. For the amount of money invested, this level of service and lack of accountability is beyond frustrating. I would seriously think twice before choosing this company. Unfortunately, it now appears we will have to pursue legal action. read more

I continue to be overwhelmed by the Pool Town staff. The work they do from sales to service is remarkable. Thank you for taking us from nightmare to paradise. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

i had my pool done by them, very unhappy, unfortunately nothing but issues with the pool, over 13 service calls already, pool is only 2 years old, the linear is the cheapest they can give you, had to have it repaired twice already by other companies because even though I'm supposed to have a warranty with my pool in no way shape or form do they honor it. Every warranty call is met with rudeness and explanations why they don't cover a thing. Had the heater serviced 5 times, the jacuzzi a few times, it just got way out of hand. also, I was unaware that pooltown is a cookie cutter company that doesn't actually do any of their own work Besides for possibly some maintenance. the entire project was subbed out and done by many different companies. I could only hope that no one else has to go through what I did over the course of 2 years Which is how long it took them to build the pool, the 13 service calls have been over the past 2 years that we've been able to moderately us the pool, the problems just keep popping up. read more

Company lies about warranty and fees, made me think I had to use their company for opening and closings, so the so call 50 year warranty stay active. Also, they said the warranty stays with the home even if it was sold, another lie. The installation of my pool was somewhat completed after 4months in 8/2025. The experience was completely overwhelmingly stressful. I was excited to sign on with this company and at the end it was so disappointing even till this date. If you want the work done by who you are paying your money to; you will be disappointed. They contract out to other companies to complete your pool. There were more calls, photos, videos, and emails communicated unnecessarily. A new liner wrinkled, concrete messy, the pool cleaning still dirty etc... As a company serving over 30years they lack the value of customer service and superb workmanship. As a company hiring contractors there is no 'Site Manager' to follow up after a job is done to ensure the work is done to the standards Pool Town "stands for". I walked outside with the weather breaking and there is discoloration in the cement. Tired of fussing with a company that does not care. No matter how many emails sent; not once did someone from Pool Town come out to evaluate what was stated. If you stand by your name; you will be out reviewing the complaints to invest in what your customers are saying and possibly seeking other contractors to do the job correctly. So here it is... another phone call/email that I'll be making regarding the discoloration (yellow stains) of the cement. The aggravation was not worth it. I will not recommend this company! Quality is everything! And if you cannot provide Quality, it's not worth my hard-earned money. read more

Pooltown built my pool and it was wonderful and professional service from sales through construction. I had no worries and was able to just leave the project in their hands. Everything came out beautiful and we are so happy and satisfied. The biggest concerns for me was the planning, the permits, and having to find all the people to do the various parts of construction and with Pooltown everything was taken care of for us. I highly recommend Pooltown for building the pool of your dreams. read more

Pool Town installed our garden plunge pool this summer and we couldn't be happier with the results. Antoinette is wonderful and the biggest help with any questions or concerns. The women in the office were all so very helpful throughout this process (and all the questions), Hailey, Molly, Gina, and Sandi. Chris K was amazing and had no issues stopping over anytime he was needed. Cesar was very helpful in determining the layout of the patio and all concrete work. One of the biggest concerns I had when selecting a company was the communication with me and amongst each other to know that we would all be on the same page- The process was very solid, they earned our trust and I would absolutely recommend Pool Town to anyone looking to install a pool! read more

Our pool is SPECTACULAR! Having a pool company as conscientious as Pool Town made this process as smooth as it can be. From sales to the precise diggers to the accurate concrete pourers, the paver geniuses to the waterfall expert, our backyard is as magnificent as it can be. I should brag and show pictures, but it's so unique, I have to Gatekeep it! THANK YOU to every Team member at Pool Town who I'm grateful to now call, 'Friends'. We are beyond Happy! read more

Very annoyed with this company right now. While we did have a very nice pool built by then about 15 years ago, Fathers Day Sunday really pissed us off. I checked to see their hours of operation and they were open 10-4. My wife and I drove 45 minutes to meet with a rep and get pricing for a new pool. We walked in, asked to speak with a rep but was handed an info sheet instead. The girl at the window told me that the sales people work on a revolving schedule and because it was Fathers Day, no sales people were there. This is a retail store........people come in to buy pools, yet you have nobody there! The trip was a complete waist of out time and we left very pissed off. read more

My inground pool came out great. The process started in October 2022 and I started swimming in May 2023 after receiving all city approvals. I never went through this process before and it did get confusing at times, but it all paid off in the long run. There are 4 phases you go through and each phase has different people that you deal with. It would be nice if each project has one assigned person that you deal with through all 4 phases, like a point guard, but it worked out. Just be patient. You will be very happy with the end result. read more

The absolute worst pool company around. Billy is equivalent to a used car salesman. Pool is only 4 yrs old and there's countless rust spots throughout the concrete and new ones seem to pop up every year. I asked a friend who works with concrete and he said it's because the rebar was too close to the surface. Billy promised these "resort" style stairs with lots of jets. I asked him several times about the jets. These wonderful jets are nothing more than the filter jets. I upgraded the light package and Billy said oh you're getting "the mack daddy" of lights. 4 little measly lights and one of them only stays on yellow as of this pool season. If they tell you 3 months to complete prepare 6-9 months and add several thousand onto your original quote. Billy said he'll be popping in every now and then through the build. Never saw him once after I signed the contract. ***BUYER BEWARE*** read more

We just had our beautiful pool town pool completed and we simply love it. There were minor bumps along the road but everyone we dealt with was genuinely a nice person. Billy A.was our sales guy, Gina in phase 2 was excellent, John in construction remedied a situation successfully. Humberto and his team were WONDERFUL. The excavator Weldon were also great. We used Jersey's Finest, Ceasar, for our beautiful stamped concrete patio and retaining wall. Leesa was also very helpful and lovely to deal with. Personally I would recommend Pool Town. I'm a project manager so I understand that not everything runs perfectly, but we LOVE our new pool. Louise & Joe in Brick read more

Great experience, great service, contractors, and excellent professionals. We signed up with Pooltown July 2020. Due to township delays our pool was finally finished April/May 2022. This is a big project so expect issues to come up but for the most part you were either told about them in advance or easy to call and ask about. As with any contractor you need to monitor and ask questions if there is something you are not sure about. For example, we expected our pool equipment in a different spot then what's drawn on the plans. Easy fix but glad we asked. Leesa, Gina, Lisa D., Dan P., and Sean were all a pleasure to deal with. We selected PoolTown, even though they were rather far away from where we reside, because we had heard that their construction for Vinyl type in ground pools was superior to others. We were way more than pleased. The installation was quicker than we expected, well coordinated in terms of the various parts of the install (excavation, install, patio, water feature etc) and the end result was outstanding. Now, it is 13 years since our pool was installed and we have enjoyed 13 trouble free years and we still are using the original (very thick) liner! Everything works as it did back then. It just so happens that it is time for a new heater and Pool Town were the only people who returned our call to have it replaced! A pool is a big choice. You won't regret using PoolTown. read more

From start to finish, every person we worked with in each phase of the installation was courteous and helpful. She kept us up to date every step of the way and scheduled all the inspections and permits with the township. John always answered my texts promptly when I had questions or concerns and Leesa DeSimone, our customer care manager, responded immediately when I called. We have had an amazing experience with pool town from the start to finish. We worked with Billy as our pool town salesman. He was very informative and walked us through the process. Then we were finally sent to permits. We worked with Kirsten, Morgan, and Brianna. They filed everything for us a continued to call the town to follow up as frequent as possible. We finally got to the excavation process! Chester and his team were amazing. They were much neater than expected!! When you hear about such a big project things can go wrong and messes can be made. They kept our backyard as neat as possible for a construction site and my kids were amazed at how they completed the job! They also backfilled for us and we were so happy with the grading of the pool according to our backyard! We used Hailey for our liner and we are soooo happy with the liner we chose. We brought in pictures and she worked with us to find the perfect one! Then Carlos and his team completely the installation. They were so quick - we could not believe how fast they completed the job! Our liner turned out beautiful! We then worked with Josantos for our cement. Of course you have to wait for the ground to settle - but they were quick and did an amazing job! We worked with Jon who walked us through design, colors and answered any and every question we had! We are so happy with the color and quality of the concrete! Erik completed our orientation- he was awesome. He was very informative and helped us with anything we needed. He answered all question and even follow up questions! Then we finally worked with LeeSantos waterfall. This truly completes the project! It is a beautiful addition to our pool and he was so great to work with! Shout out to all the ladies behind the scenes who always answered questions and followed up thoroughly. Gina, Sandi and Mollie in the Phase 2 and Leesa, Lisa and Karina in Phase 3. They were always willing to answer questions via phone or email and did so quickly. It was a pleasure to work with pool town!
