After giving them a deposit, they tried to move our install date to over 3 weeks later. When we politely expressed our disapproval with the rescheduling, John called my husband at 9pm and went into a profanity laced tirade before hanging up on him, only to have his wife call back the next day and apologize and then confirm to the original agreed upon start date. John was a no call/no show/no apologies for the liner measurement day as well. After the liner was installed, we noticed huge impressions from the unrepaired vermiculite bottom they disturbed while installing the liner. We took pictures before the pool was full with water, and were told it was normal and it would go away once the pool was filled. Despite, not coming in person for a final inspection to address our concerns to judge for themselves. John wasn't present for the installation nor a final inspection. Upon return from vacation last week for the 1st time turned on the pool light at night and noticed the massive imperfections in the base that they never fixed and installed the liner over. After contacting them to let them know, we were told to that we were "harassing & bullying" them "and to no longer contact them". We then contacted them on their only other media their Facebook page where instead of addressing our concerns Kristen attempted to do a smear campaign against my husband by attacking him personally, referring to him as "mentally ill", and posting disinformation. Needless to say we are baffled over the unprofessionalism, and shady business practice of this company. As two consummate professionals serving the community for over 30yrs would strongly suggest hiring more stable people to service your pool.

When I opened my pool, it wasn't in great shape--cloudy water and debris buildup. Instead of just handling everything and moving on or trying to upsell services, Anthony took the time to walk me through what was going on and how to fix it. What really meant the most is that he actually taught me how to maintain my pool. He didn't have to do that--he could've easily kept things surface-level so I'd keep calling him--but he chose to explain filtration, cleaning, and the entire process in a way that actually made sense. Because of that, I feel much more confident managing things myself now. He even encouraged me to try vacuuming it myself instead of paying for extra service, because he didn't want me wasting money unnecessarily. That kind of honesty and friendliness is rare. I gotta say I was pissed off prior to contacting the the Pool & Spa Doctor in Wall Township. If you were in my shoes you would be too. Let me explain. I own an Artesian Piper Glen Spa that I purchased 15 yrs ago and the spa is amazing. My entire family love spending time in the spa and I do believe that I have gotten my money's worth out of it. With that being said I am not ready to get rid of it or get a new one. In Late 2019 my heater died and I had to drain my tub for the winter. Needless to say I was not happy. Then Covid hits and everything goes to SH*T! I was not able to get a replacement heating unit until mid summer. I know right. WTF?!?! Anyway I was able to replace the heater without destroying the Spa or burning down my house. Major accomplishment. On top of that It worked! NICE. So for July through Sept. I had a working spa. Yeah. Then it stopped heating. I was getting those 3 stupid dots telling me that the flow is not adequate. I checked to confirm there is no air in the lines. I checked the fuses. I checked the circulation pump. Everything is working like it should. So I am at my wits end. I reached out to the folks at the Pool & Spa Doctor in Wall Township. I spoke with Scott. First off he talked me of the ledge. He was patient and took time to listen to the issue that I was having. He not only offered me tips and suggestions on fixing the issue but suggested another integrator that was closer to my area that can assist with my issue. Who the hell does that? Giving business to another company because you concern yourself with what the client needs and not your bottom line. I am thoroughly BLOWN AWAY!!!!! I may not have transacted a repair job with the Pool & Spa Doctor but I will and do definitely recommend them. There business practices are second to none!!! Scott your a hell of guy. They will only speak to you via email now. Even then, they don't get back to you. We had a big problem with our pool, which had been service by them in the past. We were existing customers. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, no one got back to us. Three months later, they finally sent us estimate. Thanks but no thanks. When we needed them, they didn't deliver. Don't let these people waste your time. We ended up with Midstate Pool Liners. They were outstanding!
