He gave me instructions to replace a portion of the filter line, and stayed available to me via text until I got that fixed successfully. Growing up in a family that owned a small business, I can easily recognize good service, and that is exactly what I got from Ahoy.

No communication what to do until the next time and no follow up on what I needed to do to help get the pool cleaner faster. After I finally had enough, I called and spoke with the office manager and followed up with an email. The response? The owner replied by email giving me a rundown on my account info. I'm sorry but my complaints warranted at least a phone call. The owner has a full-time job and this is his side hustle so perhaps that has something to do with it. Suggestions for future: owner/senior pool technician come out to first consultation. Give an appropriate estimate of costs. You can then warrant multiple trips.
