I found Matt on Yelp, and he came out in the dark a couple days later to measure the size I would need. He showed me where to order the right liner to be sent to me, then came out and spent most of a Sunday installing it. He gave me instructions to replace a portion of the filter line, and stayed available to me via text until I got that fixed successfully. Growing up in a family that owned a small business, I can easily recognize good service, and that is exactly what I got from Ahoy.

The cover was FINALLY installed Sept 29th!!! They promised us a pool cleaning and they of course didn't clean it prior to covering it and they also left the pumps uncovered Trying to call and speak with Mr Gordy but he continently never available and they never call us back. My husband called 4x and got no answer I called from my number and got answer second ring! The women who answers the calls is very condescending and rude making you feel like you business isn't valued. No communication what to do until the next time and no follow up on what I needed to do to help get the pool cleaner faster. After I finally had enough, I called and spoke with the office manager and followed up with an email. The response? The owner replied by email giving me a rundown on my account info. I'm sorry but my complaints warranted at least a phone call. The owner has a full-time job and this is his side hustle so perhaps that has something to do with it. Suggestions for future: owner/senior pool technician come out to first consultation. Give an appropriate estimate of costs. You can then warrant multiple trips.

He was so knowledgeable and gave great advice on how to maintain our pool. He was extremely responsive and prompt which is great given that not a lot of companies are and he worked well with my schedule. My pool was in a really bad shape but within hours of Marlin cleaning it I could see the difference. He was able to vacuum shock and bring the ph levels back to normal. Will definitely be using him again in the future.
