I would not recommend this company to anyone. We have used the service for years for openings,…read moreclosings and service in between (mostly because we had renters in our home for 2 of the last 4 years). For the first two years, they were disorganized, but always very nice and the pool always looked great. We would rarely receive a bill and had to ask for one, which was often wrong. The service visits were supposed to be bi-weekly, but sometimes they would show up weekly (we are unaware of the frequency of visits while we had renters). We let them know of the mixup and eventually received the corrected bill (at the end of the season, for the whole season). They only accept Venmo as online payment, which credit card companies apparently see as a fraud hazard, so getting a proper bill and paying it was a challenge. Either way, we still liked them because they were always so nice. This year, I called and spoke to a woman from Atlantis Pools to set up our pool opening and bi-weekly service. The opening (May 8) was fine except when they left, the pool was a little cloudy. They said they would return to vacuum it once it settled and "finalize the opening" the next day. No one showed up the next day, but instead came on May 13. This was a young woman who was new (and alone) and didn't know how to do everything. According to a conversation later with the owner, she didn't know which vacuum to use (or something to that effect), which is why the pool still had debris in it when she left. She also didn't know how to connect the Polaris (perhaps send someone with her until she learns everything??). She came again on May 15 and connected the Polaris, finalizing the pool opening. I was never told the "finalize the opening" visits would each be an extra $95 charge. I didn't request these visits. Our bill states the charges as a "green to clean" charge, but our pool was not green. These things aren't even the worst of it. When the first actual service visit came around, no one showed up! I called the owner, who was rude and dismissive. He said we weren't on his calendar despite me setting it all up with whomever answered the phone the first time I called. He eventually said, "It's not going to happen today! I can send someone out tomorrow." He said asked which plan we were on, weekly or biweekly. I said biweekly. Someone came out the next morning and again (not sure why) in the afternoon. The young woman and a man walked up to our pool pump, looked at it and said, "F*** this. I ain't doin' sh**. Let's ride." We have a security camera and saved the footage. The next service date came and went with no visit. We let the owner know of all of this and he continued the pattern of unprofessional behavior. He suddenly decided that we hadn't given them a service contract (that we never received and have never had in the 3+ years we've used this company) so that's why they didn't show up. We checked spam folders, just in case. No such contract was sent. Save your time and frustration. Call someone else.

Believe all the reviews. May the odds be ever in your favor... If all you want is a pool closing or…read moreopening then this is your company. They do give you more for your money. I used them to close my pool last year which is how I called to get a quote for a new liner. If you are looking for quality on anything else then avoid at all costs. Pool closing =great. New liner = NIGHTMARE. I only went with this company because all the other major pool companies said maybe end of July but probably August. I didn't want to lose an entire summer. This one said 2 weeks after ordering so mid May. It was end of May for me but I had to stay on them to get any progress. Even had threaten them not to pay and have them come get their stuff including the liner. You will need to ask questions and stay on top off them every step of the way. Hope you have ring cameras. They are not a full disclosure company, they will use old rusted materials instead of talking to you about new costs. Their techs might break your steps coming out of the pool and make you ask for the repairs. You will have to advocate for yourself every step of the way and even beg for what you are paying for. What should have been a 3-4 days process ended up almost 3 weeks. The guy they subcontracted to (Coastline pool liners) is young and obviously lacking in this trade. My liner was not measured correctly so it didn't fit into the track. Instead of saying they messed up and fixing the issue to secure a loyal customer they made me BEG for what I paid for but never got. My liner was not measured correctly. It doesn't lay against the pool wall especially at the curves. It balloons out like an air pocket. I requested liner lock. Not my first pool. Jessica said after I fill the pool. I said the liner will pop out. She said it will be fine. Liner pulled out in multiple areas. I had to drain the pool then they still couldn't put the liner back in the track. I had to lose my and threaten her to come get it all and I would start over with another pool company to get the corners pulled into the track. Her texts are attentive & sweet until they aren't then they get nasty. I have receipts so please don't respond unless you want those screens shots added. I have additional liner money so I didn't want to lose this entire summer but If you don't have extra $ move on because they aren't fixing anything. If you are having new lights installed understand they bring and install. They don't make sure anything works. Add $350 to the cost that is what my electrician charges. Fingers crossed almost 10k lasts a few years but doubt it. Liner is already pulling out at the corners again before the end of one summer season.

I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. I hired this company to come out…read morebecause my pool liner was pulling away from the wall in a few areas, and while he was here I also had him install liner lock. During the job, he dropped his scissors and punctured my pool liner. He patched the hole, but my liner now has a permanent patch because of damage that occurred while he was working on my pool. What bothered me even more was how the situation was handled afterward. I had been quoted $500 for the job, yet I received an invoice for $515 with no initial discount or adjustment whatsoever for the damage to my liner. When I called to discuss it, he genuinely seemed shocked that I would expect any sort of discount and felt I should still pay the full amount. I made it very clear that I was NOT expecting the job to be free. I simply felt that when a company damages a customer's property while performing a service, some reasonable compensation or adjustment should be made. After our conversation, he eventually offered 10% off the $515 invoice. Considering that I now have a hole and patch in a pool liner that did not have one before he arrived, I found that response incredibly disappointing. Accidents happen. I understand that. My issue is not simply that the scissors were dropped- it's how the company handled it afterward. Taking responsibility for damage to a customer's property and making a genuine effort to make it right is part of good customer service. Between being invoiced for more than the $500 I was quoted, initially being expected to pay the full amount despite the damage, and then having my concern treated as unreasonable, the entire situation felt very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
