Hmmmmm. Sold me new salt-cell that needed additional parts to install. Another $200 and a few days with down system. A bit mom & pop and substitute staff working while the owner was out. Flakey or just bad timing.... Hard to say. Also recommended their "favorite" installer who told me free install ( also had him price out total pool remodel) then he never came back but did give me a poorly drafted quote of over $26K as I recall but then he vanished.... read more

We needed a new motor for our pool pump. They had exactly what we needed, for the price we wanted, and even provided installation service. The installer arrived early, got the job done quickly and all is well. What else can I ask for? Thank you for being great! read more

Pool Parts Dolores Needed to replace the Hayward air relief valve which was leaking and 4 - filter cartridges that both parts were original since having the pool installed Mario helped remove the air relief valve from the top of the filter housing with a large pipe wrench while I held the lid. I felt the people at Pool Parts went above and beyond to help me, they could have sold the part and said see you later. Love the private small business and the care provided. I also could have purchased everything through Amazon and saved about $60, but gotta applaud the personal touch provided by Pool Parts. read more

Called to make sure they had the pool motor we needed for our system. They were very helpful over the phone and super nice when we arrived at just about closing time on a Saturday. They didn't seem bothered at all to stay an extra few minutes past their closing time. We've never had to replace a motor before so we brought in everything. They gladly took it apart and not only replaced the motor but also gave me in depth instructions on how to reconnect it. They've earned my business; my friends and neighbors will definitely hear about our positive experience as well. Thank you for great customer service. read more

I love everyone here and the prices with their parts warranties!! They have all you need with great service and knowledge

Took my home warranty deductible over the phone missed three scheduled appointments for repair. Completely unreliable. if you're going to use this company have them do the work first and then pay them. read more

This company is great when you want a rebuilt pool motor installed. When purchasing the rebuilt motors they provide a decent service and a one year warrant. Herein lies the problem. The problem with this place is getting someone to come out for a service call. It took me almost three weeks of calling and texting to get someone to come out. When they finally came out they removed the motor and eventually determined the problem was with my Timer and not the motor. Unfortunately, the technicians left my house without putting the motor back on. I tried numerous times to put the motor back on myself and it just would not go on. I called and texted PME for another three weeks asking for them to come back out and put the motor back on. I eventually got a friend to help me get the motor back on but not once did PME respond to me or send someone out. If my motor ever fails again I will definitely not be calling PME for help. read more

Super nice people. Easy to do business with. They carry quality pool equipment. My husband and I are so thankful to have found this husband and wife team. Juan and his wife were like a breath of fresh air after we had been treated so rudely at Leslie's Pool Supply at Thunderbird Road and Tatum Blvd. Phoenix Pol Parts had the Pentair D.E. filter that we needed to replace our 45 year old filter. They even got it installed the same day we bought it. This will be our "GO TO" for pool parts. read more

Our pool pump went out and my husband was leaving to go out of town for a few weeks In a matter of a few hours. A brand new one was not in our budget. We Called Phoenix Pool parts and they worked with us and we were able to buy a Hayward VS 2hp pool pump and install it with plenty of time to catch his flight out that afternoon. Very helpful . I would definitely use them again and recommend them. read more

Terrible, quality of work was subpar. When I called to say the leak that was supposed to be fixed was not, I received "that wasn't anything to do with what we fixed,". Hello? It is what you were paid to fix. I had already contacted them when I returned home from vacation letting them know the pool pump was leaking g and had been for apparently 2 days. Called at 8 am. No return call, texted, no response. Called again and was told the guy hadn't come in yet! It's 11am. Really? I told Juan firmly to get someone out to fix it, " My pool is now green." He said,"Fu_k you. What a guy. They've changed their name about 4 times in 5 years and I noticed invoice is lacking company name, address and phone number. Stay away. This is the second time I've used Phoenix Pool Parts to get my pool pump back in operation. The first time I opted for a rebuilt 1.5hp that they installed in my old casing. It ran fine for about 18 months and the motor shorted out. My pool runs 365 days a year at 7-10 hours per day, depending on outside temperature. The second time I went back in, I opted for the rebuilt pump Hayward Northstar assembly, new o rings, shaft seal, impeller. I also opted to have a brand new 1.5hp motor installed in the pump. This motor has a one year warranty. The only rub was when I brought the pump home and hooked it up, which takes all of 10 minutes, I'm good at it. It leaked and the motor was a little noisy. I called Phoenix Pool Parts the next day. The day after that, they showed up with another rebuilt Hayward Northstar pump casing, but this one was marked "Platinum Flow". A brand new 1.5hp motor (which actually makes 1.95hp) was installed. I quickly hooked this pump up. And I was amazed. The motor was whisper quiet and this Hayward "Platinum Flow" series pump really moves a lot of water in and out of my pool. I was amazed at the difference. I would imagine this model has a more efficient impeller. One of the biggest killers of these pool pumps mounted is the direct sunlight, especially when it's 120 degrees outside. I have mounted an umbrella over this pump and all it's plumbing to keep it in constant shade and lower the heat it operates in. I'm really happy with this company and will use them again if required in the future Mike H. Goodyear, Az. read more

So update on Pool Motor Exchange. After initial installation on 1/2016 6 months later motor died. Called company spoke to Juan and the motor was under the 1 year warranty and was replaced. Sounds like a great review right! Well not so much. After the 2nd replacement, guess what 7 months later MOTOR DIED AGAIN!! I went personally and ask for Juan the owner and he was not there. Spoke with Gloria and explain to her the situation. She went on to say that it couldn't possibly be their MOTORS and most likely it was my electrical system. REALLY!! In less than a year and half 2 motors burned out. Don't use this company unless you want to spend $240 every year replacing your POOL MOTOR. Oh by the way I ask Gloria to have Juan call me, I'm still waiting for Juans call BACK. 2 months later. LOL!! read more

We bought a motor from them 18 months ago and it broke. So we contacted them to get it replaced since it was still under warranty. I had to call them 4 times to get a commitment on a date and time (kept promising to call me back when they looked at their schedule). They didn't show up on the day they committed to. I ended up just finding a different company because I just couldn't trust them. The guy I spoke to (Juan /owner) was extremely unprofessional and has absolutely no people skills. He yelled at us when we called the 4th time asking why he didn't show. Terrible customer service, and so was the quality of the motor apparently which didn't last long. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews on here! read more

The company was great installing a new motor when mine had broken down. However after a month, the motor is not working. I have called and talked to Juan, who always answers the phone. The Pool Motor Exchange motor was professionally rebuilt wit attention to detail including cleaning and paint with great quality. The replacement motor has now run great for 6 months. I purchased two pool motors from PME last February. I decided to install them myself. They ran fine until last week when one of them quit working. I called Jaun and he said bring them in and he will replace them. This time around I decided to have them install them. I'm pretty handy, but it took me a lot more time to install than should have the first time. Carlos gave me a good deal on the install, and Johnny came out the next morning and installed both new pumps in under an hour. It took me almost all day the first time around. I am a realtor, and have worked with a number of pool care companies in the Valley. PME gave great followup service and I highly recommend them. read more

Since my pool pump wasn't working , I wasn't sure what's wrong with it. I went through many websites but I found the good deal on motorexchage. The ad is clear & precise. After I called they came to check it the same day. The next day I got it replaced. Johnny works fast and very nice. He answered all the questions I had. He also very professional & helpful. And the price is right. I 100% recommend this company . I am very happy with them. read more

Juan showed up after hours to help me out on a motor, gave me a better price than I could find online, swapped out the impeller for me at no charge and even had to replace a thing or two, tossed in some gaskets I needed, and even gave me a blob of gasket seal for when I got it back to my house. Hard to imagine better service from a local small biz owner. Thanks Juan!! I'm referring everyone I know to this place. read more

Bought a rebuilt filter and had it installed. J. B. (Juan), the owner, told me that I had a one year warranty. Filter has a faulty seal. The owner's word is no good. read more

Last week we had some work done on our pool that required draining it. After refilling it Friday night, on Saturday morning I hit the switch to start the pump and the motor hummed for a few seconds and then tripped the breaker. I made sure the impeller was clear and spinning freely and tried the start the pump a couple more times, to no avail. Due to a positive recommendation from a friend - and because they were open on Saturday - I brought the pump to Phx Pool Parts, and for a VERY reasonable price they replaced the capacitor on the motor and tested the current draw. An hour later the pump was reinstalled and is working great. Thanks for an honest diagnosis and repair experience! read more

Well after they missed two appointments I still went with them. Then they came a day later than originally told me to replace the pump. Then the cracked the seal between the pump and the back half and know won't return my phone calls. I had to use them for my warranty work but I would not recommend them. read more

What a Shitty company! No show for 2 appointments we scheduled, that's terrible customer service! I certainly wouldn't ever consider calling them again! read more

We purchased a re-built pool motor from Pool Motor Exchange last August 2017 and last week it stopped working. We called to make an appointment and was told someone would contact us. No one called, so we called again and spoke with Juan. They did not pick up the phone the previous 4 times we called. Juan said they had us on the schedule. No one shows up, so we went into the shop. Juan acted surprised that no one had come over to look at the pool motor. It's been over a week and we still have not received a call and they will not pick up the phone. We have called with 3 different cell phone numbers. This is a very dishonest company and I would NEVER recommend their services. We ended up taking the motor to Tom at B&L Pools in Phoenix. He fixed the pool pump for under $50.00. I recommend you go to B&L Pools. read more

I know this company as POOL MOTOR EXCHANGE! They are liars! My home warranty sent them to check why my pool isn't cleaning! I have a NEW PENTAIR 1.5 hp variable speed pump. The man that came out had NO CLUE what the problem was and told me that! I asked how long he was doing this job! We have more words and then he said he had to call his boss! Well he left without telling us. I called his boss and the boss said it was the pop ups! Not to worry that he would get them fixed and LIE to the home warranty to get them covered. I never heard from Juan, the owner! I get a call from my home warranty saying JUAN told them the pump was INFERIOR and would not work on my pool! I called Juan back and asked why he told me one thing and them another! He said he talked to his pool man that was here and that's what they came up with! I told him Pentair and 10 other pool companies said this is the perfect pump for my pool and he said he disagrees! So now I have NO COVERAGE on my pool because of this JERK!! I have to now either cancel my insurance and get someone else or get another pool man to fight with my company to prove JUAN wrong! DO NOT USE THEM. I will report him to the insurance saying he lies to them to get things covered when he goes on warranty calls! read more
