They were able to follow the contour of the pool deck with the fencing and attach to the back fence.

I had a Pool Guard representative come out by the name of Rick. He did a great job of offering different options for what I was interested in and did a great job of explaining their product. Once I decided to go with Pool Guard Rick was able to schedule a team to come out on a Sunday to get the job done. The two men who came out were very professional and took a lot of time understanding what I wanted to have done and asked many questions to make sure they were providing what I wanted. The finished product is fantastic - very professional and looks great. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in protecting kids or pets from accidentally getting to the pool.

Pool Guard is the best! These guys are function, professional, and accomodating. The finish fence looks amazing and easily removed when needed. Highly recommended!

Im so happy with my new safety Fence!! Sam Brown in Austin, TX went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure the safety of our backyard pool area and the little ones who play there. And he did at a much lower price than the competition. We just moved to a New house in Austin TX that had a pool already in place and we also have a TWO YEAR OLD so we felt that a safety fence was a must. We contacted multiple companies, but were told by at least two other companies that a fence couldn't be installed due to the uneven terrain and large boulders around the pool. Sam Brown at Pool Guard Found a way. We looked at safety nets, but the hassle of connecting and un-connecting all the loops every time we wanted to swim seemed like way too much of a chore. We would have gotten lazy and left it undone and then the danger would have been exposed. It only takes a child minutes to drown. The fence doesn't look too obtrusive. It looks great. It has a convenient self-closing gate. And it is easily removable by adults.

It sounds fabulous, the speakers have high end quality sound and makes the entire spa time even more relaxing. David worked with us during this entire process. I felt so sorry for him as getting the parts were out of his control. Then Brett, total gentleman and professional who explained each step he was taking to attempt to fix the issue, much thanks friend. Thanks to Benny and Jeremy who also stopped by one evening after the completed their spa deliveries for the day and worked well past dark to help. The ladies in the office who kept getting out calls for any possible updates, thank you. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase back in July and delivery in August. I will update again if anything ever gets finished. I bought a lovely swim spa from Spas Unlimited a couple of years ago. We have enjoyed the spa. Noticed a few issues this spring. Reached out to Esmeralda in service. Paid a Couple hundred dollar service fee. Waited over a month for a Technician to visit. He spend about 10 mins with my spa. Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. I truly thought he was either going to get a compressor or have lunch. He never returned. I waited another week to call Esmeralda who stated that they were "waiting to see how the owner wanted to proceed with the repair". I haven't heard back in three weeks. The request for service started back in Spring. It is now almost August. Unsure of what I paid $$ for service call. Absolutely nothing was done. I've been more than patient.

We have plenty of cleaners, we needed this pool store! I was immediately greeted by the husband and wife franchise owners. I spoke for a moment with the wife about my needs and soon learned they have referrals for plaster work, pool maintenance/service workers and expert knowledge about pools in general. I was given a container to bring a sample in of my pool water to have it checked at no cost. I was delighted to have such a warm introduction to the store. Aside from the maintenance and chemical items, they also have fun floats, thermometers, outdoor clocks, towel holders and much much more. The store was exceptionally clean. I have always liked pool stores since was a kid. The smell brings back so many memories. Seems I was always in a pool store with my dad or my grandmother. We would go in for chemicals to treat our pools. Back in the mid 70's and early 80's, you did it yourself since having a "pool guy" was not as common as it is today. I'm very excited about how well the store is stocked. They pack a lot in this small space and I will be back to get some new floats soon. They carry my favorite brand of floats, SwimWays. Great customer service, pristine store, good prices and big selection. What more can you ask for in a pool supply place?

**Beware of long review on why not to hirer Backyard Innovation**…read moreOn 12/20/2020 I signed a pool construction contract with Backyard Innovation Pool Company owned by Kris and Christy Macri. What I thought would be exciting 2-3 month constructions project became an expensive year long nightmare. During the first week in March they had the gas, internet and electric companies come out to survey my backyard and mark the location of lines. Excavation commenced on April 3, 2021 but was halted same day because Kris and Christy failed to properly locate the electrical line prior to excavation and a line was almost damaged by the digging. This was red flag number one. Excavation was completed on April 20, 2021 after having line re-routed. Then for the next 8 months there were multiple delays, excuses and request for more money above the contract price. Red flag number two came during the months of late April through August 2021. During May we possibly had above seasonal rain fall which delayed progress but my problem with Kris and Christy was how they prepared and managed for it. They did not properly cover the site nor continually pump out the water to keep the area dry. It led to a cave-in where the electric line was re-routed and left the re-routed line exposed. They didn't actually come out until I sent a video of frogs using my cave-in mud pond as their singing grounds throughout the night. Afterwards they came out to evaluate the dig site and pump out the water. Not much happen after this point except mid-June I met with the Kris and Christy to discuss the lack of progress and my concern for the integrity of my pool. At this point they stated it would cost me additional $12,000 to fix the cave-in but they were willing to pay half. I agreed to this because I just wanted my electric line protected, the contract did not address this explicitly and I wanted to expedite this process. They boarded up the side wall of the pool about a week later, but minimal work was done on my pool for the next month in half. I sent multiple text to Kris and Christy about the lack of work on the steel frame and plumbing. I got multiple excuses on why no crew was working on my project. Also complained that the recently fixed cave-in seemed to be worsening again along with what little steel and plumbing work that was done was now floating in water from rain. Again excuses. I was told things would move more smoothly once the gunite was poured. Red flag number three occurred on August 20, 2021 when they started pouring the gunite. What should have been an one day task turn into a 12 day project. It led to gunite on my patio roof and the end protect was poorly done with uneven walls (see pic). Red flag number four, during the September and October not much progress occurred but got multiple excuses. Though they requested more money, stating the cost of the tile and decking material had gone up due to COVID. Also they inform me, my pool equipment/pumps were still on backordered. At this time, I asked why my material and equipment hadn't already been ordered at the time I signed my contract and selected my material back in December 2020 and January 2021 which should have locked in the prices. You guess correctly more excuses and blame placed on COVID. Like an idiot, I agreed to the price increase in material because I just wanted this to be over. Mid November they started tiling my pool. I was told they would complete tiling, the plumbing (without the equipment) and electrical portion over the next week. Of course, this did not happen. Final red flag, it took 2 weeks to complete the tile. The plumbing was completed a couple days before Christmas which left by backyard and front yard a mess and the electric portion was never completed. I sent a text to Chris and Christy stating how my front and backyard was left. For a couple days I received no replies but then receive a text on December 17 from Kris that all of his crews are off till the 2nd week in January and he would have the cleanup done in the 2nd week in January. I replied it wasn't acceptable but never received a reply. I decided not to let this ruin my first Christmas with my family since the COVID pandemic and will deal with it after Christmas. The next time I got reply from Kris and Christy wasn't until January 12, 2022 after sending two text for updates after the New Year. Surprise, again they asked for more money to complete my pool. It would have been a 32.9% mark up from the contract stated price. I would like to point out the fact that on my same street another house had started building a pool in earlier November 2021 and completed it by Christmas. At this time, I reach my endpoint. I decided to fire them and involve a lawyer. A little late I know. It took me a while to find a company willing to take over the project for liability reasons. Luckily a pool renovation company was willing to take over my pool project and started work mid-March 2022. Since then, they have found

The project started in late 2020 and completed memorial day weekend. I never had any issues contacting Kris during the building process. Once the pool was completed, we noticed that the pool deck was cracking and there was a large discrepancy in the plaster color/shading (within 1 day of pouring plaster). We notified Kris and he said he would take care of it in the "off" season when we weren't using the pool as often to swim. He told me he would drain the pool, acid wash the plaster and then re-fill the pool in hopes this would correct the discoloration in the plaster. He was also supposed to send his crew back out to repair the areas where the deck was cracking. I have been trying to schedule a follow up with Kris since the beginning of October and he has only replied once (10/18) telling me was going to check with the plaster crew. I have followed up with calls and text messages weekly since then and never got any reply since October 18th. Per his contract the plaster and decking are covered under his warranty so the fact that he is not communicating with me is very frustrating.

We weren't looking super hard for anything in particular but did mention I'd like to find butterfly pea, but it wasnt something they had. Not surprising and didn't affect the overall experience. Jared is who came over and helped us and explained a bit about how they care for their plants and what services they offer. And even took down my number in the case he hears about how to get that plant. Told us they hold events there, so I'll have to look into it! I did really like how they had a dedicated room for indoor plants, not alot of places have that. I ended up getting a peace lily for $10 and shes still looking great 2 weeks later. We were also given a jug of their moon juice which we've just started using for most of our plants, excited to see if it does really help out. I wasnt quite sure if theyd be OK with my dog being brought into the indoor plant area or the office area where you go to pay but they held the door open for her and gave her her space. So it set a really good impression. This place is definitely where I'd go if I had my own property and want working with a blank/empty space. Compared to other nurseries you'll find much bigger plants/trees here.
