Our old tub was so old I didn't know what I was looking for and Garrett was very helpful with explaining the tub features and tiers. The tech Jeremy was excellent. Esmerelda that answers the phone in the service dept- has a haughty attitude, she has no intention of listening to the concerns of the customer. Additionally, she charged my credit card without ever contacting me to know the balance. I never got an invoice and it was way more than I discussed with Jeremy who gave me a heads up of the cost. When I called to discuss, again, haughty attitude, and the owners/managers of the store were gone by 3:50 pm....right-o! Based on this, I could not recommend. Looking at reviews now, I say you have less than 50% average of being less than happy with this business. Esmerelda needs to go back to kindergarten where they actually have more manners and business savvy than she has. And it looks like the only people that gave them 5 Stars are sauna buyers....the day will be coming when their experience with them differs most likely. The entire experience counts however when businesses only care about the money coming in, my experience is the norm for these type of people. read more

UPDATE- The day I posted this, I finally got a call, so I changed my 1 star to 2 stars. Martin came out, and fussed about the spa, and then told me, he will need to make a third return call, not this Monday, but NEXT Monday to bring his sump pumps and vacuum etc. So, still not repaired to blow out the lines. I will update again if anything ever gets finished. I bought a lovely swim spa from Spas Unlimited a couple of years ago. We have enjoyed the spa. Noticed a few issues this spring. Reached out to Esmeralda in service. Paid a Couple hundred dollar service fee. Waited over a month for a Technician to visit. He spend about 10 mins with my spa. Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. I truly thought he was either going to get a compressor or have lunch. He never returned. I waited another week to call Esmeralda who stated that they were "waiting to see how the owner wanted to proceed with the repair". I haven't heard back in three weeks. The request for service started back in Spring. It is now almost August. Unsure of what I paid $$ for service call. Absolutely nothing was done. I've been more than patient. read more

On September 27, 2025, I entered into a contract with Spas Unlimited and paid a deposit. Under Texas law, consumers have the right to cancel certain contracts within three (3) business days and receive a full refund. I exercised this right and notified the business in writing within the legal timeframe. Despite this, Spas Unlimited has refused to issue my refund and continues to withhold my deposit for services that were never rendered. I have given them every opportunity to resolve this matter, yet they have not honored the cancellation or complied with the law. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and it shows a lack of integrity and accountability in how they conduct business. Customers should be very cautious before signing any contract with Spas Unlimited, as they may not honor cancellations or refunds even when required by law. read more

Also I am a ways over 70 and called them many times for help because I wanted to be sure I was doing everything right. They were always polite and patient with me and never condescending. After having our spa six month it is time to write a review of Spas Unlimited service. We've had issues with the bluetooth that had everyone scratching their head, ordering parts, dealing with delays in getting the parts from the manufacturing company and COVID. Last week Brett contacted me again to tell me they finally have the topside control panel for the entire spa.....yeah. Brett showed up early and had the bluetooth system working again. It sounds fabulous, the speakers have high end quality sound and makes the entire spa time even more relaxing. David worked with us during this entire process. I felt so sorry for him as getting the parts were out of his control. Then Brett, total gentleman and professional who explained each step he was taking to attempt to fix the issue, much thanks friend. Thanks to Benny and Jeremy who also stopped by one evening after the completed their spa deliveries for the day and worked well past dark to help. The ladies in the office who kept getting out calls for any possible updates, thank you. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase back in July and delivery in August. David your entire staff is incredible and patient, so keep up the great job you all do and keep doing it right. read more

We'd been dreaming of getting a hot tub for a while and being stuck at home had us really wishing we'd taken the plunge. Gene to the rescue. We called him up asked a lot of questions told him our budget and he made it happen. He talked us through our questions and FaceTimed to show us the goods. Gene was a good salesman, professional and honest. The delivery was quick and the crew was knowledgeable and helpful with our installation. After months of fighting with repair people around a "free" spa, we fianlly got the help we were looking for. David at Spas Unlimited assured us he had a great repair guy and he was right. Brett showed up early, talked us through everything he was doing and answered even the most ridiculous questions we had. I purchased my hot tub just after Harvey... I have gotten so much use and enjoyment from my Dynasty Regatta. My husband has a pretty bad back and we were able to get a prescription from his dr for hot tub use and that saved us from paying tax... YAY!! Most hot tub retailers outsource their repairmen, but Spas Unlimited has their own in house people. I called in for an issue and David, one of the owners actually came out personally. (I was impressed). Even though it was just a small adjustment that was needed, he was so informative and patient. There are a lot of choices out there but these folks have the highest rating possible with the Better Business Bureau, in house repairmen and a knowledgeable staff. read more

In early December 2018, I purchased a new Catalina hot tub. It was finally delivered in late January 2019. By October the stereo had quit working. In December, well before my 1 year warranty expired, I contacted Spas Unlimited (SU) and they planned to send someone out to fix it. In late January the technician, Brett, came to look at it and confirmed the stereo did not work and told me they would need to order one and charged me $95 for a service call. fee for him coming out. A few days later Brett requested a picture of the stereo so they could get the correct one. I did not hear from him again - but with Covid, I kind of understood. Checked in with Laura in early August at least 3 times and she indicated they dropped the ball, but would get ahold of Catalina and get one coming. That was last I heard from them and it's late September (time to start using the hot tub again). I ordered a name brand replacement (not a generic one like was in there) and will install it myself. Other than splicing in a new pigtail for the different electrical plug, this is a 30 minute job I should have done myself from the onset. My new Clarion was $180. I could have nearly paid for the new stereo and saved myself all the head aches of dealing with these people with the $102 (95 + tax) I paid for a service call that yielded nothing. I previously had a 2004 Catalina that lasted 14 years and it was wonderful. This one is a nice tub but only has 2 pumps instead of 3, and 1 runs all the time. SU included a cover with the hot tub, but it is a generic one 2" thick that really does not fit the tub. The cover for my previous tub was "fitted" from Catalina and 4" thick. Be aware of what you're buying and don't expect any service from these folks. I will buy my next one elsewhere. read more

Is there a way to give less than one star? I spent almost $8000 for a spa with this company. It included led lights and a stereo system. I was also given a one year warranty. After it was delivered and the the electricity was hooked up the stereo was not working correctly. I called for service and the technician came out to replace the stereo. I was not charged for this call. A couple of months later the led lights were not working correctly. We called for service. The technician came out and the light slave was replaced. At the end of the call the technician, Neil, presented a bill for $95 plus tax. My girlfriend paid this bill. This was a service call charge. We were also not informed that there was an only a 90 day warranty on the lights until after the call and charges were presented and I called them. When I questioned David the service manager he tole me that this was a standard charge for service and was permitted by warranty. This may be so but I was never informed in advance that this charge was going to be presented. He also told me that he waived the charge for the first service This fact was never presented to us at any time. I feel that the service charge should have been discussed when the call was made for service. What confuses me is why I would be charged for a warranty call for something that I did not damage and could not precipice would go wrong. David told me that he informed my girlfriend that the charge for the first call was waived. This is absolutely not true. We were never informed that there was a service call charge. It may have been in the warranty but if so, it is very fine print. A REPUTABLE company would have told the customer in advance that the charge was going to be presented. Although they may be allowed to charge these fees, it levees a bad taste in my mouth for this company and does not inspire me to recommend them to any of my friends. The spa, made by Dynasty has some issues that appear to be factory defects (lights and stereo) and I do not feel that I should be responsible for any charges. Although they may be permitted by the fine print, it just is not good business to charge customers to repair something that was defective from the factory. Dynasty has decided to support the dealer and will not back me in any way. read more

We are extremely satisfied with our experience with Spas Unlimited , from purchase through delivery. Gene (sales) was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions In person and later on several phone calls. While there was a slight delay in delivery of our spa, we understood it was from the manufacturer in Tennessee. Benny and Jeremy were great during delivery and set up. They stayed and assisted the electrician who was having trouble completing his final set up. Thanks for the extra work. STAY AWAY! These guys are awful. We moved into a house that had a spa purchased from here. We didn't know the first thing about how to operate it, so we went to the store and the employee "helping" us told me to look on YouTube instead of asking him. On their website it stated that they service hot tubs, so we tried for months to get one of their technicians to come take a look at ours and never had any luck getting a call back from the store. About 8 months later we tried again and finally got a tech to call us, but he never showed up and never responded to voicemails. Horrible service in so many different ways. I suggest buying directly from a manufacturer which is what I've been told is more reliable. read more

He sold me one of the in stock units. He gave me a discount and I did not negotiate the price further. The spa delivery was on time and professional. I had minor issues with the electrical hook-up but both the third party electrician as well as Spas Unlimited worked to make sure things were running as expected. We purchased a Dynasty Spa from Spas Unlimited a little over one year ago. We worked with Gene the owner/manager of the store and grew to trust his opinion regarding purchasing a Dynasty Hot Tub from him. One of the main reasons that we chose to buy from him was as a locally owned and operated business he gave us his promise of unparalleled support should we ever need it. I hate to report that that HAS NOT been the case for us. I have had an issue with my hit tub since we bought it over one year ago and the issue still persists to this day. I have stopped in to the store and spoken with Gene regarding my issue and he admits that he does not have the knowledge to help me but tells me to call the store and ask to speak with someone else However, calls to the store go unanswered and sent to voicemail. The messages that I have left have never been returned. So, I cannot in good conscience recommend that you spend your hard earned money at Spas Unlimited when they don't follow through on their word and provide the support that they tell you they will. Because believe me, at some point you are going to need service. read more

When my wife and I were looking for a spa, we checked out all the usual places online and then we came across Spas Unlimited. We didn't know much about buying one, but we had an idea of what we could afford. We went to their showroom and met with David. He was very informative and wasn't the least bit put off by all my "dumb" questions. Once we found the size and type spa we liked, David was able to steer us in a direction that allowed us to get the most for our money (I checked online pricing after we left and we saved a bundle with this company). When the spa was delivered, their staff was patient as I had to change my delivery date a couple of times. They arrived on time and the two guys who unloaded my spa and put it in place were excellent. Word of advice: Spas Unlimited will give you some directions on what to do before the spa is delivered. I highly recommend you follow it to the letter....it makes hooking up the power so much easier. Once the power is installed, firing the spa up was very easy. My wife and I were "hot tubbing" about an hour after we turned it on! We've been back once to get advice/guidance on how to use the chemicals and the staff was great to work with. I'm very pleased with the level of service we've received from Spas Unlimited and would highly recommend seeing what they can do for you. read more

We looked at ordering a swim spa from the manufacturer in Florida and quickly learned that all you get is a truck showing up at your door. You then have to hire someone to unload it and set it up. Oh, and by the way, no support when you have questions. My wife and I purchased a swim spa from Spas Unlimited and they delivered and setup the spa. This thing was huge and they did a great job from removing the necessary fence to placing it exactly where we wanted it. Good company. Plus, I prefer to buy locally. And like everyone else who posted on here, glad we bought a swim spa instead of a pool. read more

I give this company ZERO stars for their so-called customer service. All they are worried about is collecting the service fee and to hell with whether or not the product is repaired or not!!! So-called Customer Service manager just wants to argue with the customer and tell them they don't understand how customer service works.
