They were very courteous and timely. They were honest and transparent, and got the job done quickly.

Was losing water in the pool. Asked for leak detection service on the pool plumbing. The boss came out, saw a leak at the skimmer and suggested fixing that rather than running all the system tests for half the quoted price. Will (and did) call them out again months later when the waterfall pipes were leaking. read more

JC's Leak Detection - Skimmer leak. - Pool & Hot Tub Service Near Me - Spring, Texas

This service technician arrived with all proper equipment and the approach used was very similar except for the level of knowledge to other leak detection companies used in the past. The source of the leak was identified within an hour of equipment setup. The price quoted for leak detection services was honored without any upcharge. He and his boss are ex employes of ABC Leak Detection which has been used for previous leaks which was not a very good experience. ABC had to come out a minimum of Two times to find the "actual" location of the leak. Hopefully when the JC's Leak Detection personnel come to fix the leak all will be as expected. Not sure if they are a contractor or direct employees of the company. read more

Cody led the team of Brian and himself and was fantastic. Cody shared clear detailed information on what was being done and what was found. No up selling or forced sales pitches. The team makes sure you do a bucket test first to ensure you have a valid reason for them coming out and spending money with them. I think this single piece of information is what sold me in them. The fact they want to make sure you aren't wasting time and money first is a sign of both care for the customer and care for their employees. The leak search was excellent and detailed. A full report was provided with breakdown of findings and repairs in the receipt along with graphic diagrams and photos. I can't think of a better team to handle this type of work and I would highly recommend them to everyone who needs a leak detection effort. read more

WoW, what a company!!! This company is not only affordable but they are as honest and as professional as I have ever seen! I bought this lakewood forest house in DEC 2021, the pool needed plastering and after it was plastered I notice a significant amount of water leaving the pool to a tune of 400 gallons every 30 hours. I Called up JC's leak detection and got an appointment right away, Cody came out and found damage the the main drain he then fixed it at a nominal cost and that was that! Thanks again Cody you rock! read more

JC's Leak Detection - Pool & Hot Tub Service Near Me - Spring, Texas

It's never a good thing when you realize you have a leak in your pool. We started losing water rapidly so I shut everything down and went to the google to find leak detection near The Woodlands, TX. JC is in Spring, TX but that's close enough. JC showed up on time and was very professional. For $300 he spent a few hours with air tanks, goggles, and various other equipment looking for our leaks. He found that out skimmer basket reservoirs were both leaking and we had a ruptured pipe under our decking. Uuugh. They are busy this time of year so it was over a week before his crew could get out. Again, they showed up on time and were very professional. I was picturing them busting up a huge section of our decking and was pleasantly surprised that they only need to jack hammer a 8-9 inch diameter hole. They even repaired a piece of our stone that had broken off in a separate incident free of charge. Good guys. Use them. Total repairs were about $1200 and all is well. Fair price and great work. read more

Fantastic company! We just moved into a new place and discovered that we had a leak in our pool. JC's staff was extremely courteous, helpful , and knowledgeable. They were able to come out much faster than expected despite the busy season and fix the issue in a few hours. Tech was straight forward, friendly, and gave us some great tips for upkeep in the future. Pool has been looking great and staying at its correct levels since the repair. 100 percent recommend this company! read more

Pleased my research, to find a specialized company to handle our Pool leak was exactly what I was looking for. Jim was very Professional from the very first call. He put me on schedule , showed up on time found our problems . Described to us the procedure of repair. The repair was done in a timely manner. The re-texturing that was completed after the leak repair looks like the original decking. Very pleased. Wonderful doing business with this professional, respectful, family owned and operated company. any future leaks. read more

I was out of my mind stressed when I found out I had a leak somewhere in or around my pool I wanted to cry at the thought of a costly repair that was SURE to come from this. I called around a few companies that I was referred to from neighbors online and a few google searches and JCs was by far the most professional and affordable I was in shock how easy it was to work with them and how kind my technician was I highly recommend this company. I trusted their diagnosis and was able to get repairs scheduled quickly. read more

What a great experience! Cody came out as expected and on time. I didn't have to be home while he checked out system. Come to find out, we didn't have a leak but had been overfilling out pool. He educated me the correct way to hook up our pool vacuum and also relabeled our pipes, since our pool company labeled or main and skimmer wrong. We will be using them again if we ever need this type of service. read more

Kody and co-worker spent hours checking for leaks in our subdivision pool. Fortunately, there was nothing serious, and he repaired the few leaks he found. Yes, as stated by others, we had to wait for the service. It was worth the wait. When finished, Kody was able to explain the process and his findings in terms I could understand. read more

Cody and a co-worker from JC's Leak Detection came out, diagnosed the issue and fixed it on the same day. They were here for maybe 2 1/2 hours. Cody and his partner were quick, professional, and pleasant. The ONLY down side is that JC's is extremely busy and took more than 30 days to get them to the house. When you do good work, your work is in demand. It was worth the wait. read more

Very professional and took the time to explain everything they were doing and why. Double-checked one item as a different leak detection company had identified a leak there but they were unable to find any problem. Looks like they were right as we haven't had to put water in the pool in the four days since they fixed the leaks! Would definitely recommend JC's to anyone who even suspects they have a leak read more

The guys did an outstanding job of getting my pool straightened out. Turns out they found a more efficient and cost-effective way to solve the problem and my invoice came in about 60% of the original estimate. As I told them, as hard as they worked to get down to the problem (and not to downplay the physical effort it took to get to the source of the problem), what I really paid them for is their knowledge of how to get the job done quickly and effectively. Don't hesitate to get these guys on the job because they are understandably in high demand for the quality of work they do. read more

The team was very responsive to my needs. Had a crew at my pool much faster than anticipated and educated me way more then I could have expected. They were able to find and repair the leak during the same trip which I didn't think would be possible. I can't say enough good things about them and would highly recommend this company if you think you have a leak in your pool or pool plumbing. Knowledgeable and thorough read more

Our pool had leaked since we bought house. Our "pool service" company tried multiple methods to find our leak, used fix a flat type method. Spent a lot of tIme and money, no luck. Then tried to get a real " leak detection" company. No luck, got to the point they wouldnt answer phone, texts or emails. We decided to live with the leak, spending a lot of money in water bills. Started to leak more so decided to try again. Messaged multiple companies some gave quotes for leak detection, some were honest, one gave recommendation for other company. Left message for JC's Leak Detection was messaged right away, called and setup appointment for Monday afternoon. He called before he left previous job and told me when he would be at my house. Showed up on tIme. He walked my pool looking at possible issues, looked at skimmers and found cracks in housings. He then brought out his air compressor, used plug and pressure tested skimmer. Found one leak, looked at other skimmer and found possible issue, didn't think it was leaking, but was possible area of concern. Got out his water proof putty and seals 3-4" crack around skimmer, added putty to possible area in other skimmer. Said it could do the job. Only charged me for service charge. He did bring along another technician who was mapping out pool and locations of each return jet along with skimmer and pool cleaner piping. Said that if it still leaked he had additional options he could try. Along with a full fledged "leak detection". If that was the case he would credit the service charge to cost of detection. That is what I calL SERVICE. 2 days after fix, no noticeable water leak, still at water level we filled up to after service. Fingers crossed that this continues. Thank you JC's Leak Detection read more

I was losing water in my pool. They came out and spent several hours thoroughly checking for leaks. They found the leak in the wall and wrote up a detailed description and sketch. I hired them to do the repair and they did an excellent job. It was first thought that they would have to tear out a small portion in the side of the pool but they said they would do their best to get to it without doing that. They were successful and I was able cancel the pebble tec people scheduled for the next day. Both appointments they arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. The price for the detection and repairs were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them. read more

Initial scheduling call with Jim was quick and easy, he explained the process and put me on the calendar sooner than any of the other leak detection companies were able to. Joseph came out and did a great job with our pool. He really knew what he was doing and hopped right in the pool on a cold day, quickly found the issues and fixed them same day. He took the time to walk me through everything and it was clear to me that he was an expert. The water level is holding solid, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work. On top of all that, Jim then followed up with an email with a very clear diagram and photos of the issues that were fixed, and a very clear and detailed line item invoice. I wish all of our service providers were run like this business. read more

Our pool and plumbing froze during the freeze and we had some issues with air in the pump basket. Our pool builder recommended This company. They were quick to answer and very communicative throughout the whole thing. We were so worried we were going to have a very expensive fix or worried someone would just take advantage of the situation. Luckily this was not the case at all when JC's came out. They were amazing and fixed our problem. They were affordable and we couldn't be happier. Very nice people too! I strongly recommend them. Thanks JC's! read more

My wife and I are in real estate and share a sizeable network. Many within our network spoke highly of JC's Leak Detection and recommended we reach out to them and only them. We just had a comprehensive test performed and I just want to say that we are impressed. The two young men (Cody & Kody) who performed the test are polite, genuine, efficient and professional. We certainly recommend JC's Leak Detection! Fantastic experience! read more

We used this wonderful company in December 2020 for our swimming pool. They diagnosed the leaks and repaired them the same day for a very reasonable rate, especially since we had more than 4 areas that had leaks. We were very impressed on their work ethic and professionalism. We highly recommend Jc's Leak Detection. Thanks again! read more

After doing some research on different leak companies I decided to give JC's Leak Detection a call and I'm glad I did. Prices are fair and comparable to other big companies but JC makes sure to give your property the time to go over any potential leaks and explained the process along the way. Communication was great and did a fantastic job patching up the leak and covering up the hole. I would definitely recommend his services! read more

I recently used JC's Leak Detection. I had previously used two other companies to search for a leak in my pool. Both companies told me I had a leak in the main drain. However after plugging the main drain water still continued to leak. JC's personnel found the actual leak, verified that the main drain was not leaking and unplugged the main drain. In addition the personnel were timely, professional, well mannered and well groomed, and communicated all their findings to me. I would not hesitate to use them again! read more

JC's Leak Detection is one of the most professional and knowledgeable services I have come across in a long time. I was filling my pool day after day with 40 minutes of water a big waste! JC's Leak Detection came and used advanced techniques to find the leak in a broken pipe underneath my pools decking. They did the least amount of damage possible to fix the leak and left the site as if nothing had been done to the stone work! Will call them again if needed. Check them out on Yelp!! 5.0 You will not be disappointed!! read more

Came, determined where the leak was located. Repaired and cost was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We put off addressing a pool leak fearing that the process of finding and addressing the leak would be time consuming and expensive. Jim quickly identified two leaks and addressed both professionally. The cost was very reasonable. JC's Leak Detection is a company we highly recommend. read more
