He maps out the plan and communicates every step of the way....I was left extremely impressed by his competence, knowledge and desire for positive customer outcomes...a great leader all in all. I've worked with many contractors in my life both at my house and in my profession, I've seen the good and the bad...these guys rank in the Top 1%. Their contractor teams are professional, considerate, communicate well, show up on time, and clean up after themselves all while making the drawings and plan a reality. It is obvious Regal Pools has developed a winning business model and they won me over which is not easy to do. Two things made me decide on them for our project...first, the fact that they were very proactive (not pushy) from the outset. From our initial phone call all the way through the design process and then the build process, the team over at Regal Pools exceeded our expectations. Davis, their designer, took our inspiration pics and after walking the property for us prior to our home being built and then after the foundation was laid, came up with a design that worked perfectly for the space and our home. He was very easy to reach and if he missed a call, we always immediately received a call or text back to answer any question we had. Our initial design was slightly over our budget (the other builder bidding the project was WAY over our budget) and Davis was able to make some very minor design changes that didn't effect the integrity of the pool itself, while bringing the final price into a budget that worked for us. Once the project started, we were passed onto Myles, our project manager who just did an outstanding job keeping us up to date each week, outlining what their team intended to complete each week. If we had a question or a concern, he always answered or messaged us back very quickly and took care of the issue (to be honest, everything we brought up was already on his radar to address without us mentioning it). We could not be happier with his attention to detail throughout the entire project. Owning a construction business, I really appreciated their entire team throughout the whole process, and I think this is a testament to their great leadership team. Interestingly enough, they bid a pool project for us about 10 years ago and we went a different direction and regretted it. We couldn't be happier with our pool project manager, Cade Dixon! Cade provided exceptional communication, keeping us updated weekly on each step of the project and ensuring we were informed about every aspect of the work being done. With that being said we were not informed until the week of our final walkthrough--approximately 12-13 weeks into the process--that our current gas meter would need to be upgraded to a 2psi regulator, with the existing 7iwc regulator moved to the line going into the house. This upgrade is critical because our current meter cannot supply enough gas pressure to run our fire bowls, fire pit, and heat the hot tub simultaneously. As a result, heating the hot tub takes over 2-3 hours, and once it gets colder outside, we won't have enough gas pressure to heat both the house and pool equipment. CenterPoint cannot complete the necessary upgrade until mid-January 2025, which is incredibly frustrating and something that should have been communicated at the start of the project. Additionally, the amount of trash and debris left by contractors throughout the build was disappointing and made the process feel less polished than we had hoped. While we are ultimately happy with the final product, these issues took away from what could have been a much smoother experience. I hope these points are addressed for future projects, as Cade otherwise showed dedication and professionalism. read more

Regal Pools did a fantastic job from start to finish, especially thanks to Jessica and Philip. Jessica, our designer, was amazing. I shared what we liked -- my wife wanted something modern and simple -- and when we visited their design center, Jessica already had renderings and material samples ready for us. She really understood our style, and we were able to visualize and make decisions quickly. That level of preparation was miles ahead of other builders who simply sent us to their showrooms to "pick what we want." Our project manager, Philip, was equally impressive. Every Monday morning, he sent a detailed text with the plan for the week, patiently listened to all our concerns and comments, and stayed on top of every detail. He was visiting the job site on a regular basis, very hands-on, and personally fixed many small issues and details -- even ones I hadn't noticed myself. Truly impressive work, especially in the Houston heat! We also appreciate the Regal management team for reaching out to ensure we were happy with the final result. Beyond their professionalism, Regal's workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch, and their pricing was very reasonable. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Regal Pools' design and construction of our pool/spa. During our initial consultation, we felt very comfortable with sales/designer Jessica and co-owner Josh because they wanted to get to know us as people and my wife's design style to assist with developing the perfect layout for our small backyard. Jessica was very professional and flexible in making some tweaks to get the design exactly how we envisioned. Vance was our Project Manager and he communicated the plans for each week on every Monday morning. When the time came to have our first pool ever, our research led us to Regal Pools. They were rated as one of the best, and Josh does do a great job showing their work on social media. Our pool had not been updated in almost 20 years so we decided to have a total remodel including new decking, plaster, tile, coping and some accessories. Basically did everything but dig a new hole! Based on recommendations from others we contacted Regal Pools and we could not be happier. Chase helped us with our selections and priced each individual item so we could make our choices to remain in our budget. No high pressure just helpful service. Once we went into contract we met with our Project Manager Riley and covered everything in our agreement. Immediately after the work started it rained for days but the crews worked everyday they could to keep on schedule. Riley kept us up to date on progress and watched over the work very carefully. New pool from Regal Pool Design completedjust in time for Spring. During Spring used heater. By beginning of July 2023 called Regal about a CHILLER. Regal Pool's Service Manager Narcisco Godino called back and walked me through all the decision points and options and was instrumental in helping me make the right choices. Narcisco quarterbacked the crews that installed the Chiller and helped me with some home electrical issues that needed to be upgraded to install the Chiller. Narcisco came to the house after installation for a manual tutorial on how the system worked. Then Regal Pool's Service Technician Jaydon came out to put on the finishing programmoing touches to tie the Chiller in to my Aqualink remote control and mobile phone app. The family loves the ability to set the pool to a target temperature for year round enjoyment. We are so please with our decision to use Regal! Josh was great in listening to our ideas and designing everything we wanted (pool, covered patio, firepit, and kitchen). Our PM, Jesse, always kept us up to date with daily expectations; each morning he would send us a text with which crew was coming out, what they would be doing, how long they should take, and what "phase" would follow once they were done. He visited the project each day and checked in with me if I was home. If he saw any issues or identified any other options we might prefer (without upselling us), he would present those to us before moving forward. Our experience with Regal Pools was great. For starters, the price was very competitive and they stayed within the allotted budget we specified. During the project we especially appreciated the strong communication from our Project Manager Andy. In addition to quickly responding to our calls and texts, each week he gave us the schedule of upcoming visits and what they were going to accomplish. That was all very helpful. Weather permitting, they did what they said they would do - on time and within budget. From the decking to the gunite to the plumbing to the equipment, their teams were very skilled craftsmen and each one did a great job.
