A Pool Experience That Stands the Test of Time…read more Selecting a pool company can be daunting, but choosing Pulliam Pools Houston was one of the best decisions we've made. Their long-standing history--founded in 1918--and their friendly, knowledgeable staff gave us the confidence we needed. Construction on our pool began on July 30, 2019, and just 30 days later, it was fully completed, including the deck. We've been enjoying it ever since! The quality and craftsmanship were outstanding from day one. Even more impressive is their ongoing support. Over the past six years, Pulliam has consistently provided excellent service, whether for rare warranty issues or minor post-warranty repairs. They've always responded quickly and professionally. Everyone we've worked with has been wonderful, but we'd like to give a special shoutout to Robert and Sean--thank you for making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We are so glad we chose Pulliam Pools! The Smith's, Richmond, TX

They kept a tidy job site, maintained great communication and completed the pool before the finish date despite the fact that we weren't in a rush. Having built 5 swimming pools in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service side with this company. It couldn't have been less stressful. They basically do exactly what they tell you they are going to do. A rare commodity these days. If you are on the north side of Houston I don't know why you would use anyone else. We were adamant that they do their best to save the trees. Even though they couldn't guarantee the trees would live they did their best. A year later they are all still alive, and despite the mess trees make they give the pool landscape the exact cabin look we wanted.

He came and cleaned the green…read moreout of the pool shock and chlorine and I seen he scrubbed where the water was coming out of the fountains but the bottom of the pool has never been scrubbed my husband got in today and he said he got stuff on his hands from the sides of the pool. After the first cleaning we thought he would actually try to clean the sticks and dirt from the bottom of the pool, yes the pool was clear and we could swim but there was a lot of sticks and leaves still on the bottom of the pool. The guy responded from me asking why he didn't clean the sticks and dirt out and I asked if he was coming the next day to do it. He said he's not coming back the next day I needed to wait until Tuesday and be happy that I had a fast turn around for my pool clearing out. It was barely a week and the leaf collector in the pool was filled that shows after two "cleanings" that he didn't ever vacuum the pool. We canceled our cleaning because it never was fully cleaned and we were quoted $185 and wound up with tax $200. When he came we had to pay like $500 for repairs then that same day he asked us to pay $200 again for may. We found a cheaper place and we will learn how to clean our own pool. I swam in it today and theirs dirt on top of the water, dirt inside the pool and on the bottom. Really from chlorine other than that and emptying the trays I don't see any other cleaning. Also the first cleaning we said we needed someone to get in and scrub the pool when we talked on the phone he said oh you might wanna get someone to scrub the pool I'm thinking I asked you to do that but all I replied with was okay so we could end the conversation.

Chris has been a pleasure to work with! We initially reached out about a year ago and he has been…read morevery generous with his time as well as authentic every time we've met. He's been flexible with our timing, had a very well thought out pool and construction design (our house is mostly geometrical so we scratched the initial design I brought to him and went with his geometrical design as well as went with his suggestion to have a retaining wall built so that the structural integrity of our pool is not compromised). When you meet Chris you'll notice that he is very knowledgeable about what it takes to build a quality pool. There are many small things that Chris has pointed out that I'm sure any other pool builders would have missed (like pouring the gunite first entrance step one inch lower to compensate for coping, pouring the second step wider so that the overlapping coping doesn't shorten its width and makes it shorter than the other steps etc). We are very happy of our current build (still in the plumbing phase) - I will update this review with pictures of the finished project once it's done! Have already started recommending him to family members who will be building a pool soon and recommend you give Chris a shot too.

I would not recommend this company to anybody. We had a saltwater pebble tech pool which we had…read moreconverted to an Ozone & UV filter, and we asked them to have the boulders repainted and sealed, and the pebble tech power washed. They are just contractors so they hired other companies to come out here and take care of each of those components. they were too remove the current calcium line first from the rock outline (from my understanding that can bead blasted or another assortment of ways) and then re-stain and seal. But they did not do that they just re-stained it so where the calcium line was before the paint is not sticking. It apparently has a two-year warranty but I have called several times trying to get in touch with somebody and on one occasion I got Letty to answer the phone and she advised me that the company they used for the Boulder stain only speak Spanish so she would call and talk to them for me. But I have not heard back I have been following up for over a year with this issue. There's absolutely no customer service they will not call you back or email you back if there's a problem. So your warranty is basically null & void because you cannot get in contact with anybody. We had them servicing our pool once a week but literally the guy they would send would come out check the chemicals empty the skimmer baskets and occasionally vacuum the bottom of the pool. But he never brushed or kept up with that calcium ring where the waterline is so that ring has just grown out of control again. And I had to remind him when it was time to clean the filters because they had not clean the filters either. So we canceled our weekly service because we just felt $170 was not worth the lack of care for our pool.
