We had a pool built for us last summer. From the get-go, this company was the most professional and straight-forward. Mike came out with his checklist for the initial scope and quote, and worked with us directly throughout the whole process. His team was flexible in helping us navigate our budget and space constraints, and was very patient every time I asked for "just one more" drawing/visual for a different idea I had! Hired them for a replaster. Mike Lopez always either answers his phone right away or return emails and texts super fast which I really appriciate. Plaster took as long as they said it would. Did not leave job until everything was perfect. Matt always returns texts also. Very honest. Cool Pool was not our cheapest option but was not the highest either. Very reasonable. Very unprofessional. After having one of their staff member completely ignore our request for a salt water pool design we had Clint come out a second time to measure our Home and help us. After receiving our design we set up a meeting with him at his office to go over specifications. We spent over 2 hours discussing what we wanted and hoped to have. He promised to have a quote for us the following week as he was leaving out of town for Easter. After numerous emails we have yet to hear from anybody. Cool Pools knows their business. We have a very small yard in the Heights, but Mike at Cool Pools was able to design and build a beautiful swimming pool that fits our home both aesthetically and physically. The process was pretty painless from the bid (we walked through it line by line with Mike, getting each question answered fully), through the permitting, digging and finishing. The price was very reasonable - and still we have the latest and best products and equipment that makes maintenance pain free. We love the way it looks, the way it adds to our health and the way it adds to our enjoyment of our home year round (the heater is fantastic). We met with multiple pool builders in Houston at the beginning, but Mike's personal attention to customer questions and issues made our decision to use Cool Pools very easy. My daughter contracted them to do her pool in May. They had the best design for her so she went with them. It has been a complete nightmare. Totally unreliable. Destroyed her fence and driveway. We understand the weather hasn't been cooperative but on all the good days no one shows up. Missed at least 3 days before this tropical storm came in.
