We had our pool built this year and had communication daily as to what was being done, and what vendor would be on site. Alfonso and Bryan oversaw everything and were on site consistently. From the design with a 14 foot easement Wes did beautifully, a few needs after completion that were handled the same day by Melvin, to Pool School with Daniel - every encounter was impressive! I do not recommend the pool man. They are currently building our pool and it has been one issue after the other. They tried to secure the underground plumbing for the pool with duct tape. I brought this to their attention and had no response, so I had to direct the crew to correct it and remove the duct tape and apply silicone. They broke our gas line and we had to call 911, the work crew continued working despite an active gas leak, which is dangerous for everyone. There were many other communication issues on top of tbis I won't dive into. But when I build my next pool at my new property I would not use the Pool Man again. If you decide to go with them, you will need to watch all the work like a hawk and be prepared to be assertive with issues until they are resolved correctly. The process won't be "smooth." I sincerely regret using the pool man and do not recommend them to anyone based on my personal experience. read more

He was patient as we made small design changes to the pool ... even after they started digging. The Pool Man company was absolutely perfect to work with. Wes designed the pool and made any changes we wanted. He was also very patient with us and followed up when we were still trying to work out our finances. We never once felt pressured. Once construction started, we did have a few delays, but that's part of it. Andrew, oversaw the project during construction and was very thorough. He always responded quickly and addressed any concerns I had. I felt more at ease with him overseeing the project as I couldn't be around all the time to check up on things. And just like any other construction project, issues may arise after the completion, but when I explained what my issue was, they made every effort to get it fixed and to my satisfaction!!! This company has a team of dedicated professionals who can service any problem! They absolutely bent over backwards to restore my pool even though I was a new customer and it was the peak season. They promised sparkling water and they delivered. Their cleaning service has kept it in pristine condition and makes sure we get ahead of needed maintenance. The Pool Man installed our pool almost two years ago. During the building things were handled very professionally and concerns were addressed right away. Since then there's been a little issue here or there but the company is always super responsive and gets things taken care of right away. I would not recommend. One area of my pool has metal showing. They came out and supposedly fixed but keeps showing up in the same spot. Owner is rude and disrespectful. Told me my pool was eleven yrs old and probably needs resurfacing. It clearly looks great everywhere except the spots where the metal shows through. And the problem started several years ago. He told me the metal showing isn't my problem in one breath and in the next breath asked me if I was putting the "metal out" in every week. I said no. He laughed and said I should be. I have the Pentair 320 which should be for pools up to 16,000 gal. Appears it should be the next higher up (power wise) for 17,500. Might explain why the water slide never consistently worked with the other water feature. I paid to have them come out and fix it. They came out and adjusted the valves and said it should work.....of course the next time I tried to use it--it didn't work. read more
