The inspection was timely and pleasant. The inspection report came in very thorough with great descriptions and photos with very accurate price estimates and fantastic products to choose from. They offered to help with any negotiations with insurance companies and with the sellers of the home we were trying to purchase. It helped tremendously and we were able to purchase our home and we decided to go ahead and get a new roof upon closing on the house. The experience was wonderful. Hartland corp was very accommodating with our schedule, very professional, efficient, and the roof looks beautiful and works like a charm. The quality and color fo the shingles are fantasti, the warranty programs are great and our HOA was very happy to approve the work and with the results. 100% recommend Stephen Edwards and his crew! They are the best in the business. A side note I should mention is that I am a realtor and of the hundreds of roofers I could choose from, Hartland Corp is my number one choice and recommendation for myself and my clients. They are extremely reliable and it is so critical to have a trustworthy and hardworking roofer who will do the job properly. Amanda Joy Schroder

Countryside Roofing replaced my roof in December 2021. July of 2023 (less than two years later) my…read moreflashing was coming up off of the roof. The roof had come with a 5 year workmanship warranty. I could not get a hold of Countryside Roofing and I had an independent roofer try to nail it back down although he couldn't. He took pictures for me and the flashing installed by Countryside Roofing was not sealed and was leaking water and the sheathing underneath the singles was too soft for nails to stick which indicates it is probably rotted. I called and finally got a hold of Eric of Countryside Roofing and he had me text him the pictures and told me someone would look at it. Did not hear from him until I called back in August. He told me someone again would look at it. No one came. I have called and called and left message after message with no response. It has been months with no contact from Countryside Roofing. Seems to be another fly by night roofing company that does not honor their warranty.

They done a good job at that time, however, now I have shingles defects with some shingles arching, and been trying call and spoke to ERIC over four times with empty promises since mid Dec 2022 to date Jan 25th 2023 no action and doubt there are any intention to honor the warranty given! So the paper I have is not worth the ink on it. I am forced to look for another roofing company and that is fine as I would not use those guys again or recommend them knowing due to my previous recommendation they changed my neighbor's roof and did repair work on other houses. Oh well we all learn the hard way and must move forward. I strongly recommend when considering Countryside Roofing get some assurance they will honor their warranty and do your homework and get some serious reference when it comes to warranty or even just repair work. I have added my paid receipt and noted XXX over the names / address for privacy to show the paid receipt which cost us dearly that time and was not insurance to say the least.

Tim Stephens · 2 seconds ago…read moreAfter 3 seasons of cursing my cursed China-made Swedish-brand weedeater, our tormented relationship came to an abrupt end yesterday when a full blown tune-up could not save the blown engine. A friend who is a landscaping professional recommended STIHL weedeaters to me. McCoy's is an authorized dealer. Given all the unreliability problems I had with brands the big box DIY stores have peddled me in the past, I walked into McCoy's intending to buy professional grade equipment for my occasional use needs. Then Ethan asked if we had any questions. Ethan is an McCoy's employee who is very knowledgeable in STIHL products. He knew that the home use model is the same as the professional model I selected except for having a single piston compression ring instead of double rings and the connecting rod is stamped instead of forged. This saves me 25%. I buy. Ethan then went to the back to get the very professionally packaged owner's manual packet and a pint-sized container of fuel. He took the weedeater outside and fueled it up for a test start. The machine fired right up on the first pull. After completing the financial transaction, Ethan registered the product for me. McCoy's are known for very clean, very brightly lit, and very well stocked building supply stores. The store sets the stage for professional customer service - like the kind Ethan demonstrated to me - that earned my loyalty and trust.

I have an impact resistant roof that was installed six years ago By Jaxon. My husband and I paid in…read morefull for a roofing system that we were told would be a long-lived and trouble-free. However, after about three years, and after my husband died , I have seen issues that hinted at poor workmanship. The roof integrity became even more questionable when it leaked substantially twice within twelve months in the same spot during a heavy rain. I called Jaxon roofing company last year after the first leak that came through the ceiling interior for warranty service and, after months of waiting, they came and added longer nails to the main ridge, which did nothing to stop the leak. This year, following the second leak, I received little response to my claim against the contractor's warranty so I had to call an independent roofing company, who agreed to assess the leak problem objectively and give an opinion as to the cause. Their inspection concluded that the original installation was done incorrectly. I had yet a third contractor inspect the leak area and he had the same opinion---poor workmanship in the original installation which lead to the recurrent leaks and may have been ongoing for longer than I realized. During this process I also discovered some issues/omissions in the original documents and registration with the manufacturer on the warranty which I will now be pursuing for more complete disclosure. I would not recommend this roofing company based on my direct experience with them. I have no malice toward them but have suffered disappointment and loss without sufficient remedy since first contact. My last requests for inspection and warranty claim against workmanship deficiencies have to date been ignored.
