The company that had come out the day before (large billboard on 105) had quoted us $5,000-7,000(!) to basically rebuild our roof. So we hired Saxon, his guy came out the next day, did everything and then went on to paint all the vent stacks and fireplace flashing. Following a hailstorm and after the insurance company had sent out an inspector and we had obtained one quote, we decided to get another quote. We called Chuck, and after he inspected the roof, he came to us and said that a new roof was not needed. He provided a detailed explanation, showing us many pictures. I called the insurance company and informed them that Chuck with All American Roofing stated we did not need to replace the roof. The insurance company guy said that in all his years, he had never had a contractor say that a roof did not need to be replaced after an inspector had deemed it necessary. The claim was canceled, and money was saved for both us and the insurance company because of Chuck's honesty. We will keep his contact information and refer him to others in the future.

Britton has pictures of the roof done by the prior owner on this site so I thought I should share…read moremy experience with him. Since he was one of the quotes we obtained and he had done work on the roof for a prior owner we decided to use him. Big Mistake!! Contract was signed to do the work on 02/28/2022. It is 06/22/2022 and I just finished filing an OAG complaint over the work that has been completed to date. The work was shoddy to be kind and did not meet the Texas minimum construction standards listed in the 2012 IRC that went into effect on 01/02/2022. The roof is poorly done I have filed a deceptive trade practices complaint with OAG!! The screw holding the roof to the decking are 1/4 of the 1 inch minimum penetration. Numerous screws are glued in as they don' thread into anything, screw spacing doesn't meet code and practically everything they cut or installed is wrong. Do not use Britton for any metal roof installation at all!! BTW this review is on the second roof. The first time around they installed the wrong type of metal and I had to tell them because they couldn't tell the difference between 1/2 inch mini rib and 7/8 corrugated which any skilled roofer should know. i have a report from a certified inspector that is 19 pages long calling out most of the incorrect work done. Response from Britton "We are not meeting any windstorm/watertight warranty requirements which is what the inspector is suggesting". Who would do a roof that is not watertight and doesn't meet Texas minimum construction standards?
