We have had our pool for one year and are extremely happy with it…read more When the hubby and I decided we wanted to build a pool, we spoke to many of our neighbors who had extremely poor reviews on their pool builders. The common complaint was the extended delay in building their pool. We heard horror stories of some pools taking almost one year to build and other stories of bad quality. We were advised to interview pool builders carefully and to go with one that we could trust. David is extremely professional and works within your budget. We spoke with several other pool makers and some offered to make a faux rock water feature. It sounded exciting when we first heard about it, but after speaking to David about a real rock water fountain, we were sold. We worked closely with David from inception to the planning through building and completion of our pool and are extremely happy we chose Paragon Pools. Everything - from the customer service to the quality of the materials - is top notch. Each pool that they make is custom-designed with the owner's needs and wants. Paragon doesn't mass produce pools, they only have a few projects at a time, so that they can give each pool and customer personalized and detailed attention. David initially gave us a timeline on the estimated completion of our pool. They were only one week off - due to rain. I'd say that's a great estimate. I brought this to their attention and had no response, so I had to direct the crew to correct it and remove the duct tape and apply silicone. They broke our gas line and we had to call 911, the work crew continued working despite an active gas leak, which is dangerous for everyone. There were many other communication issues on top of tbis I won't dive into. But when I build my next pool at my new property I would not use the Pool Man again. If you decide to go with them, you will need to watch all the work like a hawk and be prepared to be assertive with issues until they are resolved correctly. The process won't be "smooth." I sincerely regret using the pool man and do not recommend them to anyone based on my personal experience.

My spa had compromised wall structure, resulting in tiles falling off and water leaking from spa to…read morethe pool across the spa wall. Eventually the pool started loosing water as well, suggesting that the leak propagated to the ground. I called Eckel to obtain a quote to rebuild and retile spa wall. After filling out web request form and a few text messages I had a call from their rep and he told me I need to start by getting a professional water leak detection service (their referral) that cost $600. I told him that I'm pretty sure the leak is in the spa wall and would like a quite for spa rebuild/retile. He insisted that the leak can be anywhere and I must start with leak detection service. I decided to plug the spa return line so the spa water level never reached the damaged wall area and ran the pool for 24 hrs, no water loss. That conclusively proved that the leak is in the spa wall (that was confirmed later following spa rebuild/retile with different company). I talked to Eckel rep again and he still insisted that professional water leak detection is a must. I then agreed to have a quote that included the leak detection service. I had to fill out yet another web form to schedule a visit. All other companies would send someone to take a look and provide a quote via simple phone text or call. More that 3 weeks passed, during which I got quotes, chose a vendor and performed a repair, without unneeded $600 leak detection service. I am yet to hear anything from Eckel. What a tone deaf, inflexible and unresponsive company that completely fails to listen and properly and promptly follow up with the customer!
