It looks like a kindergarteners art project. There are also 11 clumps of plaster that were dropped on the floor of the pool! I wound up hiring a leak detection company. The leak was never where the minor cracks were. It was coming from the spa. Oh...and my new pool company....they actually showed up to clean my pool the day after the derecho storm where most everyone was without power! That's a professional company with outstanding service! I received four quotes to get my plaster and tiles done. We chose R Pools because CW was the most upfront didn't seem like they would come up with extra charges as a few other companies had in their contracts. The quote he gave was what we paid. When it came to the day to start there were some weather issues, but he contacted me first thing in the morning. CW was great, he communicated with me daily, made sure everyone was on task. Even with the delays due to the rain they finished in 4 days. CW then came out the morning the pool was finished filling and got it all started up. Ok so far so good!!! Next month the payment was $204!! So again, I called and asked what the extra charge was. The lady stated that the $25 a week was a promotion that only lasts the first month. I told her that we had been lied to twice, and she apologized and said well it states that the price will increase on the invoice. Sure enough the invoice stated it would increase after the first month. However, the person I talked to on the phone originally and the guy who showed up at my pool blatantly lied to my face. I brought this to their attention and had no response, so I had to direct the crew to correct it and remove the duct tape and apply silicone. They broke our gas line and we had to call 911, the work crew continued working despite an active gas leak, which is dangerous for everyone. There were many other communication issues on top of tbis I won't dive into. But when I build my next pool at my new property I would not use the Pool Man again. If you decide to go with them, you will need to watch all the work like a hawk and be prepared to be assertive with issues until they are resolved correctly. The process won't be "smooth." I sincerely regret using the pool man and do not recommend them to anyone based on my personal experience.
