We used Delta Pool Renovations to completely refresh our saltwater pool (see before and after pictures). After 18 years, the quartz pool surface was chipping away and marred with severe rust stains. It didn't look inviting at all. The flagstone coping was also looking a bit ragged. Despite annual sealing, some of the flagstone coping was chipping and falling apart. The tile around the border of our pool was faded and the mastic sealant on our decking was peeling away and plants were happily growing in the cracks. Our stone waterfall had white mineral deposits that added to the "aged" look. It was time for drastic action. I consulted with four different pool renovations companies, and Humberto at Delta Pool Renovations immediately stood out for his responsiveness and confidence that he could make things look as good as new. Whereas other companies seemed to offer a piecemeal approach to their logistics, Humberto always treated all aspects of the project as a single package deal. This, along with the glowing praise from others in my neighborhood, was enough to win Delta Pool Renovations the job. After discussing our wants, Humberto put together a written bid and once we had that squared away, we went with Humberto to pick out materials. We ended up putting in new travertine coping, new glass tile for the spa and the pool, and of course, a new pool surface. Humberto's crew even rebuilt our spa spillway into the pool for a more modern look. Once everything was set, Humberto worked out a slot on his schedule and completed the entire job from start to finish in less than 10 days (I was blown away because other companies told me it would take at least 30 days). Humberto let me pay 1/3 up front, 1/3 after the coping was completed, and 1/3 at completion. I really liked the flexibility of these terms. All of the work was done to high standards. Humberto came by multiple times each day to check on progress and, in some cases, had the workers make corrections to keep things to his liking. There were absolutely no surprises in the process and all of the workers were respectful of our property. We selected the StoneScapes Micro Pebble for the pool and spa and love that it is durable and yet relatively smooth and easy on our feet. The new finish is gorgeous and, combined with the new coping, mastic, and bead blasting to remove mineral deposits on the rock wall, the pool really does look brand new. There was one thing that Humberto told me up front he would not be able to do and that is polishing the exposed cut-edge of the travertine coping. The exposed edge is totally fine, but I prefer a honed look so I'm taking up that project on my own. I would have rather just paid Humberto a bit extra to do it but he didn't have any workers with the right type of tools. Delta Pool Renovations recently completed a replastering job on my 30 year old pool. I collected several bids from other companies and ultimately chose to go with Delta because of their competitive prices and because of the prompt and professional demeanor of the owner, Humberto. He was very quick with the estimate delivery and was great to communicate with via email and text - before, during and after the job. I found Humberto to be honest and courteous- never tried to up-sell and was flexible when I changed my mind on things. He was patient and knowledgeable in answering my many many questions. I went with the Uno Special Blend in Coal Black and I love the finished look. There are some variations in the color of the finish if you look closely, but the overall look is superb. read more

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Does NOT stand by their work!!! And lacks the most basic information about the pool plaster business!! STEER CLEAR of this company. I contacted Humberto of Delta Pool Renovations in November 2020 to get an estimate to replaster my pool, repaint my decking and redo the mastic and was given the run around for weeks. Then in December Humberto was supposed to come out to provide me an estimate. The night before the appt he cancelled. He said he had Covid but he would call me first as soon as he was clear of the virus. I waited all through December and January. Finally, at the end of January I reached him. He said he had recovered and had forgotten about my appt and the promise he made. Apparently he had been back to work for weeks. He finally came to my house and it was a disappointing appt. He couldn't even answer the most basic questions I asked him. And he said he would not be responsible if the plaster they applied leaked. Also, he changed his answer on three issues a few times each during the short appt. It was clear he was not very familiar with the details of the pool plaster and rather than say he didn't know, he tried different answers to my questions. And he wanted me to buy the tile they would use. He was rude, unprofessional, and clearly lacked the knowledge do the job. Plus, he never called me about the estimate. Again, I had to call him days later. Even before I called I knew I wasn't going to hire him as I had no confidence in him. Shame on him for making me wait weeks, for feeling they are not responsible for problems with leaking plaster that they install, for making up answers to questions he didn't know, and for being rude and unprofessional.
