Alec and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and managed the entire project extremely well from start to finish. They took the time to review my equipment setup, answer questions about the gas line and heater options, and made sure everything was installed correctly. The team installed a new Jandy JXiQ 400K BTU pool heater and also addressed wiring and electrical-related issues during the project. The workmanship was clean, organized, and professional. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the installation was completed efficiently. It's hard to find contractors who are responsive, honest, and take pride in their work, but ACE Pool Repair & Remodel delivered on all fronts. I would absolutely recommend Alec and his team to anyone looking for pool heater installation, pool equipment upgrades, or pool repair services in Santa Ana and Orange County. Thank you again for a great job!

Brian Algorri makes it easy to give 5 star reviews by providing excellent, honest, reliable work at…read morereasonable prices. I had some very old original 70's pool equipment. The original 'Purex' equipment was built tough and lasted until 50 years, wow. None the less it couldn't last forever. The pump developed a non-repairable leak and was dumping several gallons of water on a patio per hour. Brian was recommended to me and I gave him a call. He responded quickly despite the heavy rain that week and the COVID 19 pandemic. He checked out my equipment, made a recommendation, and gave me an estimate. The estimate was beyond fair and he began working the next day. In the end, he removed the old DE filter, solid brass pump, and 1.8hp motor and replaced it with a brand new cartridge filter, pump housing, and 1/2 hp motor. Within a few hours the pool was up and running again with zero leaky equipment. Bonus: The new 1/2 hp motor uses way less electricity and pumps twice as much water as the old beast. Many thanks Brian and we will be doing more pool upgrades in the future.

I called and had another well known pool service company come out. They said pool had a leak and I needed a specialist. Well Jake came out as a second opinion and he was pretty sure from our phone conversation what the problem was and it wasn't a leak. He was right it was a defective back flow valve. He replaced it that same day. He also pointed out some problems with my filter. It had cracks in it due to age and sun exposure. He recommended replacing the old DE filter with a new filter one. No more DE, no more backwashing needed, quicker to clean and cost effective. I was sold and he came back the next day and replaced the old with the new! He is knowledgeable, took time to explain my system and answer my questions. He offered some suggestions which I appreciated. He wasn't a salesman but a friendly, helpful and very qualified pool specialist! He offers repairs or also has weekly service available. I was extremely happy. The cost for the consultation went into the repair which I thought was great. He gave the price upfront and there were no add-ons. If you have problems- this is the company to call!

We just had our pool redone by Wally's Pool Repair and are extremely happy with how it turned out…read more I interviewed four companies and each one had their own style, but I felt the most comfortable with Walter. He took the time to explain what the possibilities of the pool we could do, offered several options and knew the local codes to ensure the pool was done properly. He started the project within a week so we were happy to get the project going. The one characteristic that made him stand out was when he said he was going to be there on Monday, he was there. Anyone who's done a home project knows that this is the most frustrating part of the process. His guys actually showed up each day and the project took just a few weeks. It appeared that they worked on one project until it was completed instead of being spread too thin. We added a baja shelf, some stairs that are pretty stylish, the pebbletech material and replaced the pool pump. For the pebbletech we threw in some abalone shell too and that really gives it a sparkle. Walter went way above and beyond by also fixing our pool light rather than replacing it. Overall, I could not be more happy with the project and the work that Walter did. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their pool redone from a small project to a large. He really knows what he is doing and will do it right. Also, his price was really good, but once you meet him you'll realize the quality over many of the other companies.
