Hired this company August of 2023. At first, they were servicing my pool weekly as promised but as months go by, the pool would always have residue (looks like black dirt) at the bottom of the pool. I didn't say anything for months because i thought it might've been the sprinklers in my yard spraying the pool (not the case at all). They were just not cleaning it well. In the winter, i tried using the heater for my spa but it didn't work. I reached out to Isaiah to see if he would be able to resolve this. He still did not resolve this, but instead switched out the timer and said i need to pay more for the controller. He suggested that since it's now summer, i should switch out the new filter and pump instead because it's not working well for my pool. My pump and filter was working fine until he didn't service my pool for weeks when trying to fix the spa heater. My pool turned dark green with so much algae. It just needed effort to clean and shock the pool to get back to normal, but he used this opportunity to get me to change the pump and filter because it "wasnt filtering" my pool properly. After spending thousands on all the things he suggested i change out (spa heater still not fixed), i paid him for month of May to service my pool. he took the money and only came to service the pool ONCE. Also have to mention that i paid him thousands to switch out the pump and filter so i had expected him to clean up after his mess, but he did not. He took out all the stuff, replaced them, then left it my back yard so i have to figure out what to do with the large old filter and the pump. Very unreliable and stressful dealing with my pool since i hired this company. I have hired a new pool company and my pool is now pristine. I am on the receiving end of bad business from this company. I'd like to address that I am renting and my landlord can not get in contact with this scam artist of a pool guy. Firstly, I'd like to start with the fact that property was taken from my residence, without consent or acknowledgment. This business has yet to get in touch with my landlord to replace the pool crawler that he never touched while he serviced our pool. It only went missing after complaints were made with our landlord. My landlord was paying $150/month for subpar pool service. At the very least, I expected the pool to be clean at a visual level. After 3 weeks of service, I began to notice the pool turning green. We communicated this and the company responded by treating the issue with algaecide. This worked for 2 weeks before the problem returned again. It was Isaiah's recommendation to completely drain the pool, perform acid and pressure wash, and repair the pool light. Landlord was quoted $1,200 for the light fixture to be inspected, repaired/replaced. This was a red flag for all of us and we took it upon ourselves to inspect. Turns out the light electrical was completely fine in good condition, just needed bulb replaced for $300. The pressure wash was done without issue for $1,000. Isaiah promised to return to refill the pool and finish the job he started. This is where bad business comes into play. Isaiah never returned to clean the pool filters. To my understanding, if a pool is experiencing an algae bloom, and you've gone thru such expensive laborious processes to eliminate the algae, why on God's green earth would he not clean the pool filters? When confronted with this fact and information, he stated it wasn't necessary because they were recently "cleaned". When my husband pulled out the filter, they were dirty and green. It's almost as if he was ok risking another 20,000 gallons of clean water for his benefit. The principle of the matter is that this company is not as thorough and meticulous as you'd hope for in pool service. If the client is willing to pay and work with you, trusting your expertise, why take advantage and provide half-effort with no follow up? It's unfortunate to see others have had poor experiences with this company turning their pools green. Isaiah, we are waiting for our pool crawler to be returned. Let me start by saying at the initial estimate everything seemed promising and made me feel that they would service my pool with out having to worry since this is my rental property and don't frequent home often. With in a matter of initial start date of June 1st 2023 to mid July, my pool went from blue to green making me believe no chemicals where probably added.I called and send pictures to Mr Isaiah in regards to pool going green but never returned my call or replied to message. His brother finally returned call and was very arrogant and rude about the whole thing I advised him I would be canceling service in which he said " I DONT CARE ! " Had to call a professional pool service to fix my pool which cost me unnecessary money if they would of serviced my pool properly! Went on vacation and came back to green pool. In the 30 years of having the pool never had it go green. It was always in great condition. I had to go with this service cuz my original pool guy sold his business so I tried this company and now I have a green pool. In spite of having a brand new pin and pool cleaner. This is definitely the WORST service I've ever had and only did good for the first time of the service and get the money, after that the maintenance was just horrible and just been requesting money but not doing the work at all. What's WORSR is the motor is not working and they never told me and blaming the tenant of the toy being in the water but never told the tenant to remove all the stuff from the water until the motor is not working and blaming others and the assistant told the owner they've told the tenants lots of time but not really! This is the worst company ever and will not recommend it. They'll just crush your motor and not go back again and never answer your phone or text!!! He was hired by my tenant on 7/29/2023 due to the retiring of the previous pool maintance guy. We owned the property since 2008 and there has never been a single occasion that the pool was full of algae and so poorly maintained. During the past a few months under his service, the pool has turned totaly green twice. The first time is around Dec 2023. He misled the tenant and persuaded him for an expensive acid wash ( $1200) which is not necessary at all. The second time is around March 2024, which is just 3 months later. The conditon of the pool was the same as last time. He blamed this on the pool equipment, which has been running very well. He tried to push for the costly replacement for both filter and pump and even told tenant if the equipment is not replaced, he would increase the monthly maintenance fee. A new guy was hired 2 days later, the pool becomes crystal clean. Nothing is wrong with the pool equipment . He is not honest and we felt being defrauded. Stay away from him. read more

After working with a couple of swimming pool companies unfortunately, I did not have good results. They caused me to put money into repairs that did not seem to work and at the end of the day my pool ended up turning into a swap. We were referred to Beyond Clear Pools through a friend of ours, and even though we were hesitant to try a different company considering actually emptying our pool and leaving it that way however we made the phone call. They came down right away, looked at our equipment and suggested we refill the pool and they would be able to test it at that point, so I did. I am so happy I made that call as they were able to clear the clogged lines and find a leak and my pool is now working and looking good!!! . I have now hired them to service our pool on a monthly basis and would recommend them to anyone because they know what they are doing and answered everyone of my concerns before moving forward.
