I called and had another well known pool service company come out. They said pool had a leak and I needed a specialist. Well Jake came out as a second opinion and he was pretty sure from our phone conversation what the problem was and it wasn't a leak. He was right it was a defective back flow valve. He replaced it that same day. He also pointed out some problems with my filter. It had cracks in it due to age and sun exposure. He recommended replacing the old DE filter with a new filter one. No more DE, no more backwashing needed, quicker to clean and cost effective. I was sold and he came back the next day and replaced the old with the new! He is knowledgeable, took time to explain my system and answer my questions. He offered some suggestions which I appreciated. He wasn't a salesman but a friendly, helpful and very qualified pool specialist! He offers repairs or also has weekly service available. I was extremely happy. The cost for the consultation went into the repair which I thought was great. He gave the price upfront and there were no add-ons. If you have problems- this is the company to call!

He was responsive and helpful, and I…read moreactually saved his number because I thought I had found someone I could rely on for future pool repairs. I was even considering switching our regular weekly pool maintenance service to his company. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely after the service visit was completed and paid for. We contacted Anthony because our pool heater was not working. Our regular pool technician had already determined that the blower had stopped working, so we purchased a new blower. We asked Anthony's company to install the replacement blower and get the heater working. Brian came out and installed the new blower. The blower now runs, but the heater still does not heat the water. Before leaving, Brian told us that the heater was working and suggested that there might be a blockage in the air-intake/exhaust system. He showed us the air-intake box and told us that when it was opened, the heater worked. We subsequently tested the heater extensively, including running it with the air-intake box open as instructed. We ran the system for approximately 30 hours, and there was no increase in the water temperature. The new blower runs, but the heater is clearly not heating the water. What disappointed me most was what happened afterward. I contacted Anthony repeatedly asking for help. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted Anthony or Brian to help us understand why the heater still wasn't working after the service call. I even offered to have them speak by phone while my regular pool technician was physically at the equipment so they could troubleshoot it together. Before the service was completed and paid for, Anthony was very responsive to my messages. Afterward, despite multiple attempts to contact him about the unresolved heater problem, I received no response. I had genuinely thought I had found a reliable company that I could use for future pool equipment repairs and possibly even our ongoing weekly pool maintenance. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up after the service call completely changed my impression. The replacement blower is running, but the original reason we contacted them--the heater not working--remains unresolved, and I now have to hire another company to diagnose and repair it. I wish they had simply responded and helped us troubleshoot the unresolved problem.

He assured me that they can service my pool and do the startup. I stayed in touch with all of them through the plastering phase to keep them updated on when to come out. They assured me multiple times all was well and they would be ready to go. All the other pool companies I turned away after we agreed on price. On the day of startup, they came out and he spent a ton of time on the phone in the front of my house. No update from him, he left and I get a random text that my house is out of their service area. I told them that makes no sense as we have been in touch for a few weeks and I was assured all was good. They opted to not take my pool on and told me to contact someone else. They said they wouldn't charge me for the visit like they did me a solid..i just don't get it. All I asked was for transparency and not leave me in a position to call back the other pool companies and ask for a quote. I said, since you made a mistake and it's out of your service area, can you just finish the start up you promised me and I'll find another company to do the maintenance. They said no. After a pool is replastered, it's a crucial time to ensure everything is moving in the start up phase and they almost screwed me over. It's an expensive project to replaster and none of that was taken into account on their behalf. I'm very disappointed in how this company handled my service.
