The stuffed bagels are THE BEST EVER!!! We had the blueberry stuffed bagels on a trip last fall and have been craving them ever since! We came back and tried a blueberry and everything. Both are great, but blueberry was hands down both of our favorites! I got a Breakfast in a Cup iced coffee as well- and it was delicious. Great flavor profiles without being all sugar. read more

What a great coffee shop. Loved the staff, great coffee and their attitude and sense of humor are fantastic! Absolutely loved the sign as you drive up "Calm your tits, it's just coffee...." I thought it is necessary for everyone to know the lady was quite rude. I have been through multiple times when we are in town and never had this experience. I asked for a 12oz white chocolate americano and all I asked is to pull the shots early so they don't burn. I've had experiences at multiple places where they have and she literally laughed at my face and told me I don't burn shots and then when she handed me my drinks, which was way to hot to even drink, she laughed and closed the window that was absurd and such bad service. You should never treat any customer like that!!!! read more

Loved this coffee stand! We stayed at the resort next door and came here for coffee both mornings we were in Winthrop. They have a ton of flavors you can add, the bourbon vanilla and toasted marshmallow were both really good. The staff was super friendly and put up with me asking for all my flavor options lol. The jalapeño breakfast bagel was great plus they have pastries. Will definitely come back here next time we're in town read more

Pony Expresso is a drive-thru coffee shack along the Methow River near the Winthrop KOA site. It's tucked away among several other businesses. The staff are very friendly and quick to get you your order. The menu is large with plenty of drink options and a few small breakfast food items. My breve hazelnut latte was well prepared and my iced berry lemonade was refreshing. The prices are fair. read more

Great coffee, great breakfast sandwich, amazing customer service. They were BUSY the weekend we were in town for the Winthrop Hot air balloon festival and they were so good about keeping up with the rush. Everything we ordered from this coffee stand was great, not a single complaint from anyone in the family. It's tucked between the Winthrop Ace Hardware and the Methow valley Thriftway -- cutest little coffee stand! You can drive up to both sides of the coffee stand to order. Tiny little seating area right out front of the coffee booth. 10/10 would recommend and will be visiting again when in town next time. read more

I love this coffee stand. Great coffee and extremely fair prices. The owner is super upbeat and friendly and you can tell she takes pride in her business and her customer base. We always stop here when we are in town. She's saved our lives during some long hunting days when we need a pick me up whether it's the early morning or mos afternoon. read more

Definitely one of the better drive through coffe huts I've been to in Washington. Got two cold brews and it tasted like they made it at least, some of the other huts don't make there own. The prices are very reasonable here as well. If I am passing through again I would stop back in here. read more

Not really sure what happened to the coffee at this coffee stand but they don't make it like they used to. I asked for an iced latte with two shots of espresso and they take a pitcher out of the fridge and pour what looks like black sludge into my coffee cup. What ever happened to pouring fresh espresso shots not whatever has been sitting in the fridge for who knows how long? We have been coming to this coffee stand for years every time we are in Winthrop and loved their coffee before but we have been seriously disappointed the last two times we were in town this summer. This will definitely be the last time we have drinks here again. read more

This is a great place to go when you want a great cup of coffee and are a bit of a coffee snobs like we are, the coffee beans are local and the flavor is smooth. They make a great espresso. BIG PLUS they have soy, and almond milk for all of us lactose people. We highly recommend checking out this drive thru while you are staying there.
