Love this place! We were hungry for good healthy (vegan) food and we found it. I was stocking up on snacks while we were waiting and I impulse bought a baguette. The people were really friendly and sweet, restaurant food was excellent and selection was great but mostly I wanted to review the baguette. It was so delicious it actually startled me. Soft, chewy and buttery on the inside, almost like a doughnut. And crunchy crusted on the outside with the perfect amount of nice but not pretentious salt on the outside. Food was very fresh, you can watch them make it! The ladies who make it were very nice too. I got the forbidden bowl and it was quite tasty and had very fresh ingredients and a good sauce. Their tofu is almost as good as my mother's. We came back twice afterward it was so good. Even for breakfast, the scramble was delightful. Would definitely recommend. I hate to wright this review, as I'd like to keep this place a secret. We received the best of everything here, Arrived as the doors opened, walked to the grill, greeted and sat. Recommended the breakfast sandwich and the omelette. Omelette light fluffy little cheese lots of extra fresh spinach. The breakfast sandwich grabbed my attention & kept it! Homemade style bread toasted, pesto, light thick cut cheese (goat) comes with fresh local fruit when avail! The owner was cool, a family run joint I like! From produce to local beer to organic dairy to a wine cellar to grains, pastas and breads, it's all here. There's also a small deli counter and juice bar (check their website or Twitter for daily specials!) where you can order food from breakfast omelets to lunchtime sandwiches, full of locally sourced fresh ingredients. I wandered in with a partial agenda of picking up a few versatile foods that might work for the next couple of cabin dinners, and for less than $20 picked up two big bottles of Old School House brews, a thick and salty Mazama Bakery baguette, an avocado and onion. Not a bad excursion! The only thing I would have liked to see would be at least a small selection of some local meats; there are sliced deli meats and hard salamis for sale, but nothing else more substantial. Absolutely love Glover Street. My family has been shopping here since I was a youngster. With an amazing remodel and new ownership within the last few years, this market has improved immensely. They still provide wonderful fresh and local products, including soaps, herbs, grains, and produce. The remodel introduced many great new features/services such as the amazing wine cellar (usually have some excellent deals on great wines, local and afar), and I'm obsessed with the kitchen/juice bar/ice cream!! I highly recommend the forbidden rice bowl, fresh rolls, delicious (peach is my fav) smoothies, ice cream(can't go wrong with chocolate or coffee oreo)!! I have yet to try breakfast at GSM, but looking fwd to it! Molly and the rest of the GSM crew have done an amazing job with this market. It's one place I always look fwd to when visiting Twisp (we have a house in Winthrop). I love supporting small, family-owned, local establishments... it doesn't hurt that the food and service is outstanding! read more

The ambience is of a cold natural food store, not the charming homey vibe you want in a small town, especially in winter. The smoothies are over-rated. They are more like flavored slushies with way too much ice. Overall, things just weren't made with love and the place had a weird vibe. I'd skip it. read more

We are absolutely in love with Glover Street Market. It's like Dean and Deluca countrified. Warm, welcoming, beautiful, local, fresh, organic, wine, beer and the counter is beyond delicious. The staff are super friendly. Molly, the owner, welcomes each customer with open arms and her food is superb! I highly recommend the Sat late afternoon wine tastings, breakfast and lunch at the counter, the bulk section ranging from grains to moisturizers (nice to see a plastic free option) and their extensive selection of local products. Unlike the culturally (and spelling) challenged knuckledragger who probably didn't spend a penny here, but gave this place one star (what do you expect, most of his rants are one star) I parked my car (amazing! not a Subaru and not a hippie from the East Coast) and stuck around to actually eat the Forbidden Rice Bowl and it was surprisingly fantastic. Don't miss this gem in the Twisp raw! Homemade bone broth was best I've ever had, and I claim a seasoned hand at chicken broth. Turkey sandwich was a 10, with chunks of far preferable tasty dark meat. Smoothies have explosively good flavor...and we haven't even got into the super powered curation of consumer goods in the store. This little market has great options for local, organic, and just plain healthy. I love the food and juices at the bar and I've found that they have the best deal in town on organic half & half.
