Really wonderful grocery store with lots of unique things you won't find at the 'bigger' stores in Twisp/Winthrop. The vinegar and olive oil selection is amazing. The lunch buffet is so delicious. The bulk food selection is top-notch. And the staff is helpful and friendly. read more

Stopped for a quick bite here and enjoyed the food and the service. My husband had the clam chowder and grazed the salad bar. The salad choices were fresh and delicious. Would stop here any time we travel through. read more

The forbids bowl and curry bowl were hearty, healthy and delicious! A treat for vegetarians who care about healthy, fresh food and eco-friendly packaging. And it's also a grocery store! A great find in the middle of this tiny town of Twisp off the cascade loop highway :) read more

Love this place! We were hungry for good healthy (vegan) food and we found it. I was stocking up on snacks while we were waiting and I impulse bought a baguette. The people were really friendly and sweet, restaurant food was excellent and selection was great but mostly I wanted to review the baguette. It was so delicious it actually startled me. Soft, chewy and buttery on the inside, almost like a doughnut. And crunchy crusted on the outside with the perfect amount of nice but not pretentious salt on the outside. Please tell me if you know where this baggies came from. It was the highlight of my trip. read more

Food was very fresh, you can watch them make it! The ladies who make it were very nice too. I got the forbidden bowl and it was quite tasty and had very fresh ingredients and a good sauce. Their tofu is almost as good as my mother's. We came back twice afterward it was so good. Even for breakfast, the scramble was delightful. Would definitely recommend. The smoothies are also pretty good, though different from what I expected. read more

Glover Street Market - Forbidden bowl. Great tofu and peanut sauce. - Grocery Near Me - Twisp, Washington

Great little Twisp market with almost everything a healthy and/or adventurous eater could want! From produce to local beer to organic dairy to a wine cellar to grains, pastas and breads, it's all here. There's also a small deli counter and juice bar (check their website or Twitter for daily specials!) where you can order food from breakfast omelets to lunchtime sandwiches, full of locally sourced fresh ingredients. I wandered in with a partial agenda of picking up a few versatile foods that might work for the next couple of cabin dinners, and for less than $20 picked up two big bottles of Old School House brews, a thick and salty Mazama Bakery baguette, an avocado and onion. Not a bad excursion! The only thing I would have liked to see would be at least a small selection of some local meats; there are sliced deli meats and hard salamis for sale, but nothing else more substantial. Not a problem, however, as I never travel without a good supply of local (to Western Washington) bacon.... read more

I hate to wright this review, as I'd like to keep this place a secret. We received the best of everything here, Arrived as the doors opened, walked to the grill, greeted and sat. Recommended the breakfast sandwich and the omelette. Omelette light fluffy little cheese lots of extra fresh spinach. The breakfast sandwich grabbed my attention & kept it! Homemade style bread toasted, pesto, light thick cut cheese (goat) comes with fresh local fruit when avail! The owner was cool, a family run joint I like! Next time we're vacationing to Twisp! read more

This is becoming a favorite of the locals. Food service is limited to breakfast/brunch and lunch. Quality is very high. Service is friendly and caring. Known for their juice bar, they specialize in healthy and tasty, freshly made choices like soups and salads. Our lunch group ate there for lunch - served in their wine cellar. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We all were quite impressed. read more

The small eatery inside is awesome! Super delicious and healthy stuff. Sitting at the counter is a fun experience. It is a rare and special treat to find a place like this out of the big cities. The market has a bunch of useful everyday stuff, in addition to one of the biggest selection of spices I've ever seen. read more

Absolutely love Glover Street. My family has been shopping here since I was a youngster. With an amazing remodel and new ownership within the last few years, this market has improved immensely. They still provide wonderful fresh and local products, including soaps, herbs, grains, and produce. The remodel introduced many great new features/services such as the amazing wine cellar (usually have some excellent deals on great wines, local and afar), and I'm obsessed with the kitchen/juice bar/ice cream!! I highly recommend the forbidden rice bowl, fresh rolls, delicious (peach is my fav) smoothies, ice cream(can't go wrong with chocolate or coffee oreo)!! I have yet to try breakfast at GSM, but looking fwd to it! Molly and the rest of the GSM crew have done an amazing job with this market. It's one place I always look fwd to when visiting Twisp (we have a house in Winthrop). I love supporting small, family-owned, local establishments... it doesn't hurt that the food and service is outstanding! read more

I did not care for this place. It has a very chilly vibe and the wait staff are not friendly. The ambience is of a cold natural food store, not the charming homey vibe you want in a small town, especially in winter. The smoothies are over-rated. They are more like flavored slushies with way too much ice. Overall, things just weren't made with love and the place had a weird vibe. I'd skip it. read more

This is the place to go! We had smoothies and fresh juice. The breakfasts look delicious. People are friendly and helpful. Really cool store overall. The lower level has a wine cellar and vinegar bar with some really cool selections. 5 stars. Go! You won't be disappointed. read more

Great market with plenty of vegetarian and organic options. Service was wonderful, especially the tall, long haired woman (Margo, I think)- very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back when driving through! read more

DELICIOUS!! We ordered the curry wrap and Baby Buddha to-go. Both were incredible! The food was so good we did not hesitate to bring back friends the very next day. The four of us sat at the counter (FUN experience)and enjoyed a curry BOWL. Again -- so delicious! The smoothies we had were also very good and unique! Wish that we could have this business in our home town!! read more

Loved this place. Like a tiny version of our Co-op where we live. Had delicious Emmer Waffle, prepared with locally grown emmer. It was fantastic! Best whole grain waffle ever! And, the juice bar is fantastic, too. An "All Star" will wake up your taste buds! Check it out and grab some good grub for the road, too. read more

Epic health market with a great breakfast/lunch bar. Super friendly staff. Place is a gem!

Stop in and be surprised by the excellent selection of natural foods and gifts, and even more surprised by the prices in the smaller touristy town of twisp! read more

We are absolutely in love with Glover Street Market. It's like Dean and Deluca countrified. Warm, welcoming, beautiful, local, fresh, organic, wine, beer and the counter is beyond delicious. The staff are super friendly. Molly, the owner, welcomes each customer with open arms and her food is superb! I highly recommend the Sat late afternoon wine tastings, breakfast and lunch at the counter, the bulk section ranging from grains to moisturizers (nice to see a plastic free option) and their extensive selection of local products. Glovers feels like home and is well worth a visit to Twisp for the experience. Truly, a class act. read more

Unlike the culturally (and spelling) challenged knuckledragger who probably didn't spend a penny here, but gave this place one star (what do you expect, most of his rants are one star) I parked my car (amazing! not a Subaru and not a hippie from the East Coast) and stuck around to actually eat the Forbidden Rice Bowl and it was surprisingly fantastic. Rich flavors, generous portion, very good. Yeah, it's 12 bucks, so deal with it, I guess some would rather go to Subway then off to some sh*thole Carlton bar for their 12 bucks of fun. Their loss. This place is good. No not cheap. Imagine that, a natural foods store that isn't cheap.... read more

Super impressed by this grocery store. Seemed like lots of people were hanging out there so we went to explore. They had a fantastic variety of foods and goods but also an organic juice and breakfast/lunch bar. Wow! Everything was delish! Order the forbidden rice bowl- you will be scraping the bottom in the bowl. The chef was super friendly and chatted with us while we stuffed overseers with her delicious food. Stopped in for a fabulous breakfast - scrambled eggs with spinach and gruyere cheese, avocado, salsa and warm tortillas. Yum. They also have a great selection of fresh juices and smoothies. Before we left, we loaded up on fresh local fruit. This place has organic, healthy food, which you don't see too much of in Eastern WA! read more

Psyched to find a little natural grocery in the scablands! Great for the health conscious traveler. Juice at the counter was well made and pretty yummy, though not what I ordered (must be clear in enunciating Cold Kick versus Cold Cure- I didn't correct her, service was good). Miso soup bowl to go was pretty good too. Grocery prices about average/what I would expect from a small town shop. Well kept & well stocked. Town is cute, but we didn't linger. Glad we stopped! read more

Don't miss this gem in the Twisp raw! Homemade bone broth was best I've ever had, and I claim a seasoned hand at chicken broth. Turkey sandwich was a 10, with chunks of far preferable tasty dark meat. Smoothies have explosively good flavor...and we haven't even got into the super powered curation of consumer goods in the store. Who needs a Wholefoods or PCC when you have organic veggies and local meats! Twisp, you are so lucky to have Glover market in your midst! read more

This little market has great options for local, organic, and just plain healthy. I love the food and juices at the bar and I've found that they have the best deal in town on organic half & half. (strange, I know!) And although things are a bit pricy, I believe you get what you pay for. Everything in Glover Street is fresh, high quality, and served by kind & competent folks. The wine cellar is a hidden treat that I sometimes forget to visit... just down the stairs where you'll find bulk honey, edible oils, and the like, in addition to some great wines. read more

Thank goodness for this place. Everything is so fresh and delicious--which is hard to find in Twisp.
