    Fried Rice Plus Protein

Jupiter is a MUST visit restaurant if you're in or around Winthrop. Known for its farm-to-table approach, Jupiter features a unique menu with local ingredients. While this is a casual spot, its patio is perfect to unwind after a long day of hiking. We loved this spot so much, we dined in for dinner 2 nights in a row. Every item we ordered hit the spot and was SO FRESH! Naan Tacos- chicken and pork both amazing. Totally unique on the naan bread. Fried Rice Protein Plus- 11/10 my favorite! Comes with tender pulled pork and this sriracha aioli that is to die for BBQ Pork Fries- talk about loaded. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Any of their salads Jupiter also has a large case of bakery items! We got some cookies to go. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Vegan Nacho Fries- crisp waffle fries with vegan cashew queso, soy chorizo, pickled onions, kimchi and jalapeños.

We loved the wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options! We ordered the Vegan Nacho Fries and the South Bowl with Avocado Cilantro Lime dressing. The vegan nachos were fresh and crisp with. Yummy vegan queso and soy chorizo. It also had kimchi topping that gave it a tang and some heat. The South Bowl with baked tofu packed a punch of health with a lot flavor. Tofu has a lot of flavor and is one of the best baked tofus I've ever had! This bowl has a lot of food so I would recommend sharing it out planning to take extra home (unless you've been hiking all day- then you might want it all!). We also got a peanut better cookie with miso. It tasted like a peanut butter cookie but with a bit more depth to the flavor profile. Food was quick to come out, and everything was awesome! We loved getting both healthy and flavorful options for dinner! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. Both are nice and offer lovely views of the mountains around. There is a set of stairs required to get into the venue. They did run out of tempeh toward closing, so if you are wanting a particular item make sure you go in early!

1/2 salad with chicken... was quite large!

One of our favorite places to eat in Winthrop for lunch. We ate here in November and remembered enjoying the food, so it was our first meal (we came back 2x) on a recent trip back to the Methow Valley. My son and I both had the same entrees for our first meal this trip...he had the fried rice with spicy pork, I had the tacos with chicken tinga. Husband had the kale bowl (new), and we all shared the furikake fries (also new). We went back again with friends since I wanted them to try the furikake fries... had a small salad with the chicken tinga, it was a 1/2 size, but was quite large! We also tried the chocolate cardamom roll, that was so good! I ordered a blue berry and lemon scone as well, which was shared with everyone. The scone was ok, the chocolate cardamom roll was a lot better and won everyone over! Pros- tasty food that is mostly healthy- depending on how you order! Good bakery items as well. Reasonable prices and relatively fast service once food is ordered (order at the counter and take your number to your seat/table) Cons- it's tucked away, so it could be hard to find. Note- It's next door to the Glass shop- up the stairs.

Super cute and unique place for the area. A bit pricey though, but everything was good! Got the naan tacos with pulled pork

I had the best bowl (south) I have ever eaten. Beautiful, fresh, and delicious. Can't wait to come back!

I ordered the south bowl, best bowl ever my husband had the Jupiter salad with pulled pork. Both were absolutely beautiful and delicious!

This is a place where you order at the counter. The food is excellent and the prices decent. There's a huge deck with outdoor seating as well as indoor tables. I had a bowl with brown rice, steamed kale, black beans and other tasty stuff. You get to pick the sauce - I chose a creamy cashew. It was a hearty meal and was delicious. Love the combos. Service was good and the place is clean and attractive.

Chicken naan tacos, BBQ waffle fry nachos, community bowl

Had dinner here while staying in Mazama for a week at North Cascades. Order at counter but employee was friendly. The BBQ waffle fry nachos were amazing.

Naan tacos. The mushroom/tempeh on the left is especially tasty

Tasty food, chill vibes. Tacos on naan are a perfect hikers' grub. Cookies were great to-go snacks for the next trail.

This gf pizza is tied for first as the best pizza crust I've found (alongside Square Pie Guys in Oakland, CA and Pagliacci's in Shoreline, WA). LONG VERSION: I'll give the full picture with nothing exaggerated so you can decide for yourself. First, maybe it matters maybe it doesn't -- I'm a 40-year-old Asian man, Electrical Engineer with tattoos, working at a FAANG company. I don't look anything like the typical people who might pass by. My family comes to Winthrop annually during the long Juneteenth weekend and there are no Tesla charging stations around. I stopped to charge my car here at East 20 Pizza (LAW: if you pay to charge, you are a patron of the station and do not have to pay to eat at the business to leave your car) but felt guilty about taking a spot on a very slow charger -- I'm at 40% and it said 7-hour charge time. I went in and asked if I'm a customer, can I leave my car for about 3 hours. They said no and mostly tried to kick me out of the spot. After talking to about 4 different people who were unsure, there was one guy that was reasonable and he decided I could stay. I ordered a beer and the biggest 16" pizza they have to make sure they understood I was a customer. I sat outside and the same old lady who didn't want my car there came out and told me she has 4 people looking for a table. I said okay, that's reasonable -- if you need the spots then I'll move. She sits me inside in front of the cash register. Someone else walks in and says she wants to sit outside. They said "of course, there are plenty of spots" -- and there was a section completely empty. So I said hey, can I come along? If there are more spots then I'm not sure why I'm sitting here. We get out there and the entire section was completely empty -- at least 18 seats. I figured this should be empty enough for me to have a beer and a slice or two, then take the rest to my family. Maybe 10 minutes in, the old lady sees me and says hey, we're expecting to get busy, and if my food is to-go then I'm going to have to move. Again. Mind you, there were open tables all around me. She said "I think your pizza is done, you can just go get it." I said it's not to-go -- I have a beer right here and I'm eating the pizza here -- but I've been moved multiple times in a short period. I can catch a hint. I go to the front and cash out. (Thinking back, I automatically hit at least 20% tip out of habit -- I'm kind of sad I still did that.) After I paid, I asked for my pizza and when they went to check, they said it wasn't even ready yet. After waiting a little longer, I didn't want to make a scene over the way I was feeling, so I politely said: "When my pizza is ready, there's a family of 4 in the back corner -- can you please just give it to them?" And then I left...

The service I received was top notch! Molly, Vickie, and Jonathan were really cool, friendly, and went above and beyond for me. I fell in love (LOVE!) with their chocolate soda, literally! Hands down, it's absolutely the best chocolate drink I've ever had. I would go in daily to get one order to drink immediately and 1-2 drinks to go (no ice, I would chill it in the hotel fridge). I loved the drink so much, I actually went across the street to Aspens Grove and bought two pitchers, so I could get enough of the drink to share with friends (11 people in total!) And yes, everyone loved it! The chocolate soda was more chocolate milk, since they had a soda water shortage, but if it's as tasty as the chocolate milk - oh my! Other pros- everything they use is either home grown (they have their own organic farm) or sourced locally whenever possible. All ingredients are of high quality and organic (also whenever possible). My first meal was their curry chicken salad which had great flavor and coconut flakes which added a nice texture! Vickie is the master chef and the magician behind their dishes and drinks. She took time to come out and share the chocolate soda recipe with me. I'll tell you this much- she makes an amazing dark chocolate ganache as the base of their chocolate drinks! She not only shared the recipe, but told me where I could go to get the highest quality chocolate and at the best price too! I have 15 bars, so I will make it at home soon! In the group of 11 friends I shared the drink with- a friend's son told her that she needed to get a pitcher and take it over to Oliver's too, to get more chocolate milk! It is so tasty and I'm so thankful that Vickie gave me the recipe and that Molly demonstrated step by step how she makes it! Cons- when it gets busy, it can be slow, but honestly, I felt it was worth the wait. We will be coming back to Winthrop a lot, and I plan to make Oliver's one of my first stops (if not the first!) on all future trips!
