Something's coming out of my takeout bag
Lucia D.

Everyone loved the Togo meals. Includes everything you need to feed a crowd. Serving spoons and plates. Generous amounts of rice.

Not soup, extremely thick, potato, mush, mush disgusting
Natalie D.

I ordered two large chicken soups because I'm sick and really needed some soup and a small order of plantains. I get home very much looking forward to eat my soup which I've had from PolloTropical before and it was actually soup. What I got was a thick, nasty potato mush mess. It is disgusting un edible. I just threw my incomplete food order away even the plantains were disgusting. The food was un edible. I would never go back to this place again, which is a shame because I used to love PolloTropical they used to be a great establishment for fast, somewhat healthy food not any longer.

How my Avocado Chicken Salad - Crispy should have looked with avocado cut...
Stephanie F.

We stopped in to get the family some lunch while visiting their grandma. The place looked clean inside and the guy who rung us up was helpful. It had been awhile since I had Pollo and I really missed my favorite, quesadilla salad. But the avocado crispy chicken salad was good, especially with my favorite chipotle dressing.

The pollo gets you in and out very fast. They have a good team working here and I love how inexpensive it is. Great right after a work out!

We enjoyed the condiment bar and the variety of sauces/spices/veggies it offered to dress up our food.

To think that I almost did not come here is a tragedy. From the moment I walked in I was warmly…read moregreeted by Miguel at the counter. They have a vast menu of fast food as well as a regular menu and I ordered from both. Miguel had great recommendations and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the sangria, which was the perfect taste for a really hot midday drink. For my appetizer, I ordered the maduro relleno .... A sweet plantain stuffed with chicken and cheese annndd guacamole... i was in heaven Main- Ropa viejo was delicious. I did have to add salt to it as well as the rice, but I got the rice, red beans, and a small Caesar salad as my three sides. Overall between the service and the food, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We came here for lunch…read more I started with their cocktail de camarones. It was excellent. Large, firm shrimp in a sauce of ketchup, onions, cilantro and citrus juice. The five shrimp were poached and served cold. The sauce was slightly sweet. And although there were a lot of chopped onions in it, they were not strong or overpowering. And I liked that their version of the sauce was without mayonnaise. Along with the cocktail came some warm thin slices of fried plantains -- bigger than chips but smaller than chunks. The plantains were a nice accompaniment. I had a beef empanada after the shrimp cocktail. And added a side order of thin and crispy french fries. The empanada was just okay. My husband had their perro combo -- a hot dog Latin American style. The hot dog was in a bun and was covered with bacon, cheese, pink sauce, ketchup, quail eggs, pineapple sauce, and potato sticks. It came with a metal basket of french fries and a soda. He said it was good, but gloppy. I'm glad we came to try them. We realized after eating here that we'd been to their sister restaurant in Greenacres. Service was good. We'd come back if craving a bit of Colombian cuisine.

The brisket is top notch. I got the brisket tacos and brisket tostada. It was tender and flavorful, and I loved the crunch of the tostada. The eating the dishes was a generous portion. The corn was not my favorite, but it was good to use as an additional topping. The fried cheese was good - almost like a cheese spring roll, with the exterior having a nice crunch. I even managed to save some of the food as leftovers, and it still tasted very good, even the next day. While I didn't get to go out to eat, I would definitely order from again, or go in person and enjoy the atmosphere.

I have dreams about The Picnic's perfectly and fresh to order guac and pork belly with plantain chips! It's so good! The also make a passion fruit aqua Fresca that's yummy! I noticed on the last visit that they have added a good sized and covered seating area. It was a nice place to sit and wait for our to go, but I could see it being a nice place to stay and eat when the weather is right. The staff is always pleasant and the food come out fairly quickly considering it's made to order! Prices are on the higher price so I consider this a treat once in a while rather than a regular dinner option.
