If you're in the mood for quick takeout that actually tastes fresh, Zona Fresca never disappoints. I stopped in for lunch one day since I drive by this location often. For first impressions everything held up perfectly. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the veggies were still crisp, and the whole plate had that bright, clean flavor. I loved the lemon zesty rice. Even as takeout, it felt like a proper meal. Generous portions, plenty of flavor, and nothing soggy or thrown together. You can tell they cook everything to order. The salsa and chips they pack with it always hit the spot too. If you want something fast but not "fast food," the Zone Entrée from Zona Fresca is a solid go-to. Fresh, consistent and super convenient for a take-home dinner. read more

I am writing to formally share an incident that left me deeply disappointed and uncomfortable at your Delray Beach Zona Fresca location on Linton Blvd. Today, I walked in holding my 5lb Pomeranian in my arms. I politely asked the cashier, Nathalia, for a cup of water. Before I could even finish my request, she cut me off by loudly stating "no pets are allowed," referencing the sign on the door. I want to be clear: I fully respect your policy. I had no intention of dining inside and only planned to quickly get water and leave--just as I saw two other families with dogs waiting outside. What troubled me was not the policy, but the manner in which Nathalia addressed me. She refused to provide water and did so by raising her voice in front of other customers. She told me to "drop the dog" on the floor if I wanted water, and when I did not respond to this demeaning instruction, she suddenly shifted and offered to "meet me halfway" by getting the water herself while I held my dog. At this point, I took a photo of the location because I felt the situation was escalating and inappropriate. When Nathalia noticed, she became irate, snatched back the water, and sarcastically instructed me to "make sure you tell corporate my name is Nathalia and spell it right!" I left feeling not only humiliated but also concerned that her treatment may have carried racial undertones. As a Black woman, I cannot ignore how her tone and demeanor toward me felt particularly dismissive and hostile in a way that went beyond enforcing company policy. My husband and I are regular customers who live within walking distance, and I've always appreciated having Zona Fresca as part of our neighborhood. This experience, however, was jarring and has shaken my trust in the brand's commitment to respect and hospitality. I am bringing this to your attention because I believe no customer should be spoken to or treated in such a way. I ask that this matter be reviewed seriously and addressed appropriately so that other patrons don't endure the same experience. Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. I look forward to your response. read more

Fast food Mexican done right. Met a friend here for lunch and was shocked how good it was. I was kind of expecting Taco Bell but was I wrong. All fresh ingredients, a nice salsa bar which is included with your meal and it's cute inside. Oder at the counter and they call your number when it's ready. Chicken Street Tacos were very good. Tacos come with avocado, cilantro and a lemony dressing and a side of chips. Healthy and reasonably priced... what a great combo... I'll be back read more

I seem to be on a Zona kick because it is a nice quick service restaurant with great quality Mexican food that is fresh. I love the self-service salsa bar. The service was excellent, and my food order came out very quickly. I like that the chips and salsa are complimentary with a food purchase. The restaurant was super clean, and as soon as we got up after eating, the table was wiped down. I like that they have added a few items to their menu, but I do wish they had ground beef for their burritos. I usually get the salad with chopped grilled chicken, but this time, I got 2 chicken tacos. One gringo style with lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. The other was street taco style on a corn tortilla with cilantro and guacamole. The portion size was excellent. My husband ordered a refried bean burrito and added chopped, grilled chicken. After adding some of the salsas, it was a perfect meal. The only thing that I didn't understand is why the register asks for a tip when I stood in line to order, picked up my food from the counter and brought it back to my table and then cleared my trash off and carried the tray and garbage to the trash can. Sorry, but I think the tip feature should be eliminated. read more

This message is regarding my experience here at zone Fresca at the Delray Beach location: 1705 S Federal Hwy Unit A-1 Delray Beach, FL 33483 United States I've been a long time customer of zone Fresca. They have amazing food and I've always had great service. But unfortunately, at this location, this lady by the name of Natalie, she had long blonde hair, and she was very rude as when I asked her to repeat back my order she was rolling her eyes and being kind of snob towards me, and I found that to be very disrespectful. I asked her if she was having a OK day replied, yes, but the way that she was treating me seemed otherwise. I think they should really find somebody else to be providing customer service at the register as us not quite inviting to people who want to experience this location. read more

My favorite Mexican food spot for a quick, delicious and affordable lunch/dinner! Their salsa is great (including salsa bar) and chips which usually come with a meal. I personally love their burritos and burrito bowls. Savory and full of flavor! Great and spacious area with indoor and outdoor seating as well. Service is typically good, sometimes certain cashiers are not always on their A game when it comes to friendliness, but mostly no complaints! Overall, good quality and delicious food. read more

Why in the heck did you close at 3 PM on Super Bowl Sunday? Do you hate money? Your location has not been doing well for a while. You're not taking online orders and now you close early on a day that people literally stuffed their faces! I could see this maybe if you were on the West Coast closing at three... But you shouldn't of closed until 6 PM. The Super Bowl doesn't even start till 630 and kickoff isn't gonna be till at least seven. This is ridiculous. I'm never ever coming back read more

Zona Fresca in Delray Beach is another go to spot of mine. The Shrimp burrito is my favorite. Charbroiled with lime, jack cheese, pinto beans, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and their tany dressing. The portion size is generous, which includes chips and ensuring that you leave satisfied. Update. Still go here for good food, but the staff could use a course on customer service. Chunky guy with the beard and t shirt acts miserable and it shows. Buddy should have Chick fil a come over and teach him how to interact with customers. In summary, food is still good. Staff not so much. Pompano location has much friendlier staff. read more

Outstanding tasting food and great condiment bar... great service too. Highly recommend

Suggested by colleagues to join them for some ZF takeout. What a complete disappointment. Staff were friendly and the kitchen efficient but that's where it ends. The floor in this rather bland interior was slick with grease. I grabbed my shredded beef burrito and proceeded to start eating it. Within 2 bites I had a rather large gelatinous piece of fat in my mouth. No need to describe it further detail but this happened another two times before I finally lost my appetite. Low quality ingredients, lots of beans, very little beef and a sprinkling of cheese. Trying to cut corners and it shows. For me Zona Fresca is Zona Vayas! read more

I think I prefer Zona to chipotle when it comes to quality/price. Zona seems to use white meat chicken, whereas chipotle uses dark meat. If I were to get guac and chips at chipotle with my chicken bowl, it would be $14.55 with tax (depends on location, but not a huge variation). I got the siesta maker as a bowl and I was debating with my buddy whether the portion here was smaller or not (if it is, then not by much), but my meal was 11.72 with tax and I got chips and guac, and all the same ingredients I'd get at chipotle. Zona also seems to make the chicken to order. And the salsa bar here is awesome. So I'm sticking with Zona over chipotle for a while read more

Customer service is so bad here, literally every single person has the nastiest attitude they'll make jokes about you infront of your face to their co-workers, talk about insecurity's am I right. This business needs a reset on their staff and kitchen.. The food gave me food poisoning and it's not the first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back again and it happened twice. I do not recommend wasting your time and energy with these people, i am truly disgusted. (: have a pleasant week/weekend, go see for yourself the shenanigans. read more

My go-to place for a delicious, fresh, clean shrimp burrito. Service is always extremely fast. I always get the shrimp buritto with no beans. LOVE Zone their only setback is that one serviceman Jason, woah I've never been to zona and had such a bad experience. I tried to order on the phone but he didn't know how to take the order nor what they served. It's an amazing Spanish restaurant but he looks like he absolutely hates his job. I have literally never experienced such nasty behavior I almost left but the other guys didn't deserve that they work hard and make good food. Food is great everytime. Excellent tacos and quesadillas. Great for when you don't feel like cooking

First time here during Crazy Covid Times. The tables are socially distanced and there are a few outside tables. Masks are required. The staff was super friendly. I ordered the Garden Chicken Salad (dieting) and my hubby ordered the Machaca Burrito. The salsas and extras are put in individual consumers that you can grab. My Salad was a good sized portion. I was not a fan of the dressing so I put the salsa Fresca and pico de gallo on it and it worked for me. The chicken was slightly dry but there was a good amount on top of the salad. The Burrito was delish and had a side of chips wth it. The shredded beef was tasty and there was a good amount in the Burrito. It was messy to eat but it was all gone so I'm thinking it was hit! I will come back when I'm not during to try the really good stuff! read more

When it comes to simple, fresh and delicious Mexican food, Zone Fresca is my go to spot. I've been here many times and have visited a few different locations and they are always consistent with their food and service. This location has a great staff as they are always super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I have not been able to dine in these past few visits due to Covid-19 so I have had to rely on their curbside service. They have been so nice and professional when they deal with you over the phone and when they come to deliver your food at your vehicle. I really recommend stopping by Zona Fresca to get your Mexican food fix, you will be glad you did. You can't beat the delicious food and great service. read more

Food was good. Everything seemed fresh. I had a quesadilla, which was really good. They have a nice selection in the menu.

I think I'm starting to become addicted to this place... yes the food is that good. Very simple, well flavored, not overly spiced but just enough and FRESH! Out of everything on the menu, the guacamole is the best! I'm super serious. ITS AWESOME! I like the siesta marker burrito served "naked"; meaning that you lose the tortilla shell and it goes in a bowl. I'm also a fan of the shrimp tacos because I enjoy shrimp. But, my new favorite is quesadilla. I love to get it with the grilled veggies inside. I don't know if it's the type of cheese of what not but I really do dig it. I'm still a huge fan of the soup! Omg it is heavenly. The one tip I have learned about coming here over the past few weeks is you really should dine in opposed to get your food to go. I have seen a difference with my Togo food compared to when I sit down and dine in. Sometimes they forget an item. Bottom line: fresh, healthy & reasonable priced. I'm a fan! read more

I ordered a platter for tailgating at he Dolphins game. They open at 11, however we wanted to be on the road by then. They kindly offered the platter would be ready and to just "knock on the door" and they would give me everything prior to opening. Unlike SEVERAL other "sub" places are around here . Not only did they offer this service, the food was so hot and fresh plus included a nice touch with an orange table cloth (they knew we were dolphins fans).
