Churro Churros with Ice Cream & Tres Leches in the back. Both were good.

Atmosphere is FANTASTIC!! What a hidden gem. Live music was the BEST! We were here on a Friday night and enjoyed it so much!! Food was good overall. Rice is some of the best I've had anywhere! Queso is the bomb!! And the guac is seriously outstanding!! Get the Asadito was BY FAR the best dish on the menu!! HOLY YUMBALLS!! The deserts were a nice top off. Skinny marg... not so good but other margs were.

Food was excellent. For a New Year's Eve party not so great. The staff seemed annoyed. They had a dance floor area close to tables.... The staff seemed super annoyed attempting to serve food. As amazing as the food was. I won't be back.

I have been to this restaurant 2 times already and realized I never added a review about this place. I can't remember much about the first time (I guess that tells you a bit about the food). This time, I visited with a small group of 5 people and we chose this place since they have an interesting mix of Colombian and Mexican dishes and felt it would be a good variety. If you know about these 2 types of culinary, you know they're quite different, hence why I was looking forward to eating here. My advice now, I think you can find better. This is a location with great space, an extensive menu, live music on Friday evenings, and overall really cute vibe, and really good service too in fact. I would just make sure that your expectations on the food aren't too high, or you'll be disappointed. We ordered a few varied items, some fish, some steak, some chicken, and regardless, all dishes were slightly bland, and let plating also left a lot to be desired. I even forgot to take pictures of my food, and like I said earlier, that tells you something.

Doesn't look like much from the front but it's got a great ambiance and delish food! The salsa is really unique with such a great flavor! We had the #9 enchilada and Chile relleno which was absolutely incredible. We also had the arroz con pollo which had a special sauce that was a red sauce base. Different than the normal white cheese sauce than we are used to and had more veggies/other flavors. Can't wait to come back and try the margaritas!

Absolutely awful. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The tacos tasted like they were dunked in Ketchup. The chicken soup for 12.50 was a bowl of salty caned soup with some dried out chicken and rice. The steak was like rubber. We came here when they first opened and always had the Tortilla and chicken rice soup. It was a huge portion with many accoutrements like cheese, cilantro, salsa, and jalapeños . It was always so much they we took some home. Not sure what happened , maybe it's new owners. Also they had a DJ playing that was unbearably loud. To top it off, we get our bill and it has a 3.50 convenience fee. They said it was for using a credit card. Never again!!

We came here for drinks and food after work! Boy we were in for a treat! Everyone loved their food. I got the enchiladas mole with chicken. My boyfriend got the carne asada burrito to go. My family got several different dishes but all were amazing. The drinks were STRONG! You know your girl loves a strong drink! This place may seem pricey but even late night with no other people around, everything was OUTSTANDING! Get Starbucks and then come here for dinner! So worth it and so delicious. I want to add that our waitress who I didn't get her name but she was very very sweet with my niece. My niece smiled and played with her everytime she came near. Amazing place and we absolutely loved it!

Food is PLENTIFUL and good. The service was outstanding on an early Saturday night. The marguerita was ok but the salsa and chips...NICE

    A receipt showing bogus charges

We had the worst experience last night at Hacienda Mexican-Colombian Restaurant and Bar in Delray Beach . My sister recently moved in a new development in Delray Beach , so my brother and my sister and I looked up close by Mexican restaurants in the area and this restaurant looked decent by the photos on line so we went . Parking lot was empty and it was 7:00 pm , and as we proceeded to walk in loving music , it was blasting so loud by 2 singers with hardly no one in the restaurant . Waitresses couldn't hear what we wanted and we couldn't hear them. Next we ordered , My sister got a fajita , my brother got a chorizo and I ordered 2 street tacos without a meal, just a la cart . See bill attached When the bill came , we saw all these prices of things that are usually included with a fajita such as cheese , salsa , jalapeños , everything that is usually on the side to put in a fajita had a charge . When we questioned the waitress she said that's how this place does it , also on the check , was a charge they call a convenience fee , we asked her what did that mean and she said it's a charge for swiping a credit card which we had not even given a credit card . Needless to say we were very unhappy and asked to speak to the manager. Manager comes over as if he is going in a fighting ring , very aggressive towards us , ready for battle . I'm sure he has been questioned many times . My sister began to tell him that she got charged all these condiments that' usually come with a fajita he said well you ordered extra , she said "no I didn't " I just wanted what comes with it . He went off like a loose cannon . Carrying on about inflation and how much everything is . My sister said please let me finish, trying to tell him this was not extra and wanting to ask about this charge which was the inconvenience fee , he said everyone charges that , and continued to carry on , you ordered it , you ordered it , he kept saying like a child , so I spoke up and said that isn't true and the convenience fee is bogus because we have a restaurant. My sister was about to ask him a question and he lost it , He yelled loud that his rent is 60K at that space and we said that isn't our fault and told him we weren't even using a credit card and was going to be charged anyway . He would walk away then come back yelling like a crazy person . The issue is he needs a serious anger management class . He also needs to go to jail for ripping people off . He would not let us speak , He just continued to be defensive and yell . He was making a scene . I told him this is no way to handle an issue and I asked his name which he said was Fernando . As we started to get up after paying his stupid charges , We heard a waiter call him Oscar , so I asked Him why did you just give us the wrong name ? He mumbled I didn't give you the wrong name and walked away . We gathered our things and again he comes back over still yelling that we don't know the prices of things and how dare we question him , He did not take a breathe , he just kept ranting and raving , he would not let any of us speak , my brother who is 74 told him very calmly that he is acting really out of hand and needs to control himself so oscar pointed to my sister and said she is questioning my business and with that , He put his hands on my sister to push her back in her seat. We had to really control ourselves from not calling the police from putting his hands on her, and the last thing I wanted was my family to get hurt my this crazy man . There was no one there on a Friday night , he was worried about his rent that was his problem , I don't care what his rent is , that Doesn't mean you rip off everyone. I asked him why would he lie about his name and also that my sister is on the board of her complex and was going to give that name to her complex if it was good and he said he didn't care . He was the most unprofessional psycho manager we ever seen . The sad thing is my husband has been a cop for 30 years snd no one wants to hear the cops point of view on the crazy people they have to deal with . How many people is he screwing for not looking at their bill and where does he get off touching a 70 year old woman he could have knocked down . Yes we could have called the cops and we told him that , do you think he would shut his mouth , he just continued to rattle on and on . He is the meanest most aggressive man I ever saw . Not to be mention we found out he is the owner after also lying he was the Manager. So wonder why no one was there , he deserves to be shut down . We paid cash he was charging us a swiping a credit card fee how crazy is that ? What a crook and please spread the word . Don't have your friends get screwed because his rent is 60k. So with that I am writing on yelp and I sure hope people see this . My 2 words of advice are ...... DONT GO!!!!!!!

Enjoyed my meal but was disappointed when I asked for a side of sour cream and they charged me $5. Good mix of Colombian and Mexican options

We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

We went straight over to the tablets, scrolled and placed our order, tapping a credit card to finish. We weren't really sure if there were specials or meals were the best way to order. It is Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday here and we didn't see anything special. We grabbed a table near the walk of fame and sat down to watch the music video while we waited for our food. There was no hand soap in the ladies room, so I used the soap in the men's room. I mentioned it on the way in and when I washed up to leave, there was still no soap. We each had 2 birra tacos, shared a drink and rice and beans for $15 pp including tax and tip. Our food came out quickly with a bottle of green and a spicy red salsa. Our lunch was okay the tacos were a little messy crumbling as I was trying to eat them. They weren't full of fresh flavors, they just tasted washed out and watery.

So TL:DR, I'm sold! I'm coming back and hoping it's consistent because this meal was delicious. Ordered tacos: steak, carnitas, and barbacoa. With rice and beans and washed it down with a large agua de Jamaica. Steak taco tasted like a real steak taco, and drenched with lime and salsa from their extremely convenient salsa bar, it was fantastic. The carnitas tacos was next, it was nice and tender, great taste, and again, drenched in lime and a mix of their green and red salsa it was very yummy. In between I had the rice and beans that were excellent imo. I'm Mexican and grew up eating beans 5-7 days week so i know a thing or two. The rice and beans were very close to home made. Very nostalgic. Finally I was expecting the barbacoa taco to be, not-so-good. I dunno know honestly I just expected them to not be perfect. Barbacoa was on-point! Great taste and not dry. Good potion of meat too, so I was able to eat some of the meat with rice and beans and that was amazing. Tortillas are made in-house and tasted great, I'm usually picky about this but these weren't too thick and tasted great. The agua de Jamaica was excellent. On the sweet side but not overly overly sweet. It was the perfect meal for that particular day, it hit the spot and didn't cost an arm and a leg. It's in a plaza, in a halfway sketchy neighborhood tbh but is worth going to and very close to 95. I will be going back and probably ordering the exact same order.

Knowing lunch ended at 3:00, we had the lunch menu in hand. At one point, our server started walking toward our table, but after seeing me looking at the lunch menu, he turned around and went back to the bar to put dishes away. It honestly felt like he was trying to delay taking our order. My husband eventually had to call him over before 3:00. We ordered mahi-mahi tacos, and I was ordering the margarita chicken from the lunch menu. Instead of ringing it in right away, he waited until it was exactly 3:00 before telling us lunch was over. We asked to speak with the manager immediately. By the time she came to our table, it was still 3:00, yet she insisted there was nothing she could do because the computer wouldn't allow it. After I explained that I'd worked in restaurants and knew managers could make exceptions in situations like this, she finally agreed--but then rolled her eyes, walked away, and laughed with the server. My husband witnessed the whole thing. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable eating food prepared by people who were openly laughing at us, so we left. This was never about saving a few dollars. It was about customer service and doing the right thing. We've been loyal customers for years because we truly love the food, but the way we were treated today was so unprofessional that we may never come back. It's really sad because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant, but if this is how customers are treated and how management handles situations, it's not the kind of business I want to support.

I took that recommendation seriously because Florida Nacho Man takes all nacho intelligence seriously. That person owes me $14.50. The plate arrived. Full size ceramic plate, good choice, holds heat. Holds heat the way the surface of the sun holds heat, actually. No warning. No heads up. Just a plate that could cause a medical incident set down in front of you with the quiet confidence of something that had nothing to apologize for. It did not. There were eight chips on it. Eight. On a full size plate. Rattling around like survivors on a burning raft. At $14.50, that works out to $1.81 per chip. I want everyone to sit with that math for a moment. Each chip had a spoonful of highly underseasoned ground beef on it. Individually placed. The sour cream was piped in decorative swirls like this was a thin nacho cake -- tasteless, unattractive, sad, with no business in a Mexican restaurant. The lettuce was iceberg, roughly chopped, room temperature, just another passenger on this train of sadness. The jalapeños were pickled, piled in the center, and had the heat of a decorative garnish because that is all they were. The cheese welded the chips to the plate. Fork Rule violated. At a Mexican restaurant. For nachos. Shame on them. I ate all eight chips in pursuit of a redeeming quality. There was not one. Alas. The margarita was $5.50 on happy hour special. It also sucked. 1.5/10. The Ghost Nacho. Just avoid this place altogether.
