Carne asada and chicken tacos with elote

Their tacos are amazing. Love ordering from them. The food is always fresh and the sauces are delicious especially the green one that you see pictured below. I still prefer Elote on the cob but the cup wasn't too bad just not my preference. Super friendly staff & welcoming environment. The truck is very visible which helps with finding where they are.

We were first introduced to Tacos Wey when their food truck came by to do an event put on by our neighborhood's HOA, and became immediate fans. We then learned they were opening up an east Boca location which was much closer to us. The location is in a gas station to the left, so it's ideal for pickup or delivery, but there is a counter to place an order and a few tables should you choose to eat in. For those ordering delivery, the food travels well. While the menu doesn't have a ton of options, what they do have is always a solid choice. Over the times we have had food delivered/picked up, we have had the tacos, gorditas, grande quesadilla, elote and chips and guacamole. The way the food is prepped takes me back to street food similar to what we would have in our travels to Mexico. So good. A note on the grande quesadilla - it definitely is large and could likely eat 2 people, or just 1 person who is really hungry. They also sell bottled Coke as well as Jarritos. Hoping more folks in the area give this place a try because it is well worth it!

Tacos Wey is truly a hole-in-a-wall type of place. Located in a gas station convenience store as well as a food truck that locals know the location of, this is a stop-and-try type of place. The service is great, and the food is even better. I have taken my Mexican friends here, and they said it's some of the most authentic tacos they have gotten in the area. My girlfriend loves this place, and I will go out of my way to drive here for the tacos for her. I highly recommend going to try this place.

Steak quesatacos were 10/10! First time trying this place and was a little skeptical being it's located inside a gas station but they did NOT disappoint. Friendly and fast service. Food was made fresh! Meat portion is generous. Definitelyyyy will be back!

Great place to get best Tacos in Boca ... Leslie is very good sweet young girl taking orders and selling the food...my favorite is brisket and chorizo QuesaTacos with a side of consume ...if you love Mexican Tacos come and check it out...

I absolutely LOVE this place! Getting tacos from here is always such a treat! Usually, they put the guacamole, sour cream, and pick de gallo in separate containers. This time, they put it all directly in the tacos, which made for a pretty messy experience, but my GOODNESS are they delicious! The service is alway good. The staff are friendly and timely. I know it may weird some people out that they are located inside a gas station, but I cannot recommend this place enough! Incredible tacos!

This place is over hyped and if you're looking for birria tacos I wouldn't come to boca raton for that. I just happened to be in the area and I was craving birria tacos, I looked at the reviews on it and it wasn't too bad so I thought I'd give it a try. After I ordered I saw them add more birria broth from a plastic bag that looked pre packaged and the location of it was in a gas station as well. I thought maybe this a hidden gem but what I was given had no flavor at all. The broth was bland the cheese had more flavor than the meat and broth combined and the cheese just tasted like cheese!!! If I had the chance to get a refund on this I would of, it was most definitely a waste of money and over priced for something that's not authentic and came out of pre packaged packaging. Very underwhelmed and disappointed. But what did I expect I guess. It's boca! Lol.

We didn't make reservations ahead of time but luckily the wait was only 20 minutes. The hostesses were very nice and got us seated right after they texted us when our table was ready. We waited a bit before our server came and took our order. Hubby got the Loaded Guacamole and I got the Carne Asada Quesadillas. The guac is prepared table side so it was nice to watch it be made to your specifications right in front of you. The end product was absolutely divine - highly recommend! The quesadillas were also amazing - nicely crisped tortillas filled with cheese and carne asada (other meats were available as well). They are served with salsa, fresh cream, and another spicy dip. The food and service were both excellent - give this a try next time you are in the area!

Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 11:30-4 with $7.99 margaritas, $9.99 craft, and $8.50 spirits. Beer and wine for $6.50. Food specials are also fantastic with $4 tacos along with other reasonably priced food options. Our bartenders were lovely and very attentive.

If you are going for the drinks, I'm sure you can overlook it. IF YOU ARE VEGAN AND HUNGRY, this place was not worth the price I paid. First, I got the Burrito (honestly, I wish I went to Chipotle. They know how to make a good Burrito.) THE BURRITO WAS CRUNCHY. I asked them if they could make it vegan- best offer was stir fry vegetables with WAYY TOO MUCH OIL, the rice- for some reason, was made with butter. The spices used on the vegetables were SO STRONG (after I asked for mild spice) that I couldn't feel my tongue for 30 min after Eva finally took it away (she offered 2 times, I felt bad about wanting to send it back after 2 bites. I tried to stomach more and I got really bad acid reflux from the spice) she came back to the table and offered to take it away a second time (Probably because she saw I was almost in tears from how I can't taste, my nose is running like a faucet and very quickly questioning my life decisions leading up to this "FOOD") I ordered the veggie Fajitas next. Again, too oily, spicy- but bearable. I was once told "if the food is too spicy, it means they're covering up that they can't cook" for a whopping $37 I learned the hard way. The ambience was basically the bare minimum of what's legally passable as a restaurant. It had tables, an overworked staff that took 20 min to seat us, 20 min after ordering for food and 15 min in between to check on us. This place was overcrowded and way over hyped. Not going again. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Even if I was starving, I'd walk 40 min to go to Chipotle. At least the burrito will be worth it.

Hi, I'm Glenn and I'm a mexican cuisine addict…read more... and I found my new place to get my fix... For years I have frequented a couple of local mexican restaurants; they were/are good but my eyes have been opened to Casa Tequila. Let me tell you what makes my appreciation of Casa Tequila... I have really enjoyed the other mexican restaurants we were going to for the past couple decades but the issue always come up when my wife and I travel to Mexico and enjoy authentic mexican food; arriving back at our local spots became a let-down because they were serving very americanized dishes (flooded with too much cheese and loads of unnecessary sauce. Casa Tequila is serving much more along the lines of what we have enjoyed in our many visits to various regions of Mexico; great balanced flavors and a menu with plenty of options. I don't normally go for the burritos but these burritos are the real deal (AND THEY ARE HUGE so come hungry)... try the "SUPER BURRITO" or the "ASADA BURRITO"; I've tried a bunch but these are the two I keep re-ordering. Recently I tried their "FAJITA TRIO" (fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimps)... it's a lot of food but leftovers always taste great the next day. Personally, we love sitting at the bar; the bartenders are amazing at making fresh margaritas (we always ask every mexican place to not use a pre-made mix... Casa Tequila hits the spot with amazing margaritas); although I normally have their flavored iced tea.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS…read more I came in expecting a Mexican restaurant to nail nachos. That's a reasonable expectation. Boy was I wrong. The Grande Nachos arrived in a ceramic dish so nuclear hot I couldn't touch it. By the time it cooled enough to eat, the cheese had souped itself across the entire plate and sealed every chip underneath in a molten tomb. The shredded beef was actually good. That's the tragedy. Good ingredients, catastrophic execution. The refried beans -- listed on the menu, credit for that -- were the murder weapon. Beans plus nuclear heat plus oily cheese plus ceramic dish equals guaranteed chip annihilation. What was left underneath wasn't chips. It was soggy, near liquid mush. The Fork Rule was violated immediately. I left feeling like my gut had survived a blitzkrieg. I went straight to Packy's just to forget what I'd eaten. This isn't a nacho. It's a deconstructed burrito in a ceramic dish. Someone didn't get the memo. 2/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 1/5 stars on Yelp. Full review with photos at floridanachoman.substack.com
