We didn't make reservations ahead of time but luckily the wait was only 20 minutes. The hostesses were very nice and got us seated right after they texted us when our table was ready. We waited a bit before our server came and took our order. Hubby got the Loaded Guacamole and I got the Carne Asada Quesadillas. The guac is prepared table side so it was nice to watch it be made to your specifications right in front of you. The end product was absolutely divine - highly recommend! The quesadillas were also amazing - nicely crisped tortillas filled with cheese and carne asada (other meats were available as well). They are served with salsa, fresh cream, and another spicy dip. The food and service were both excellent - give this a try next time you are in the area!

What a funky little spot!…read more Such a fun romantic, goth vibe with their decor. My friend and I sat at the bar to enjoy their Happy Hour cocktails and discounted food items. Highly enjoyed their margaritas. We order a spicy marg, passion fruit marg, and their blood orange marg- all delish! For food we ordered a half portion of the Calavares salad as well as their chicken Al pastor tacos. Both were very flavorful and came loaded. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 11:30-4 with $7.99 margaritas, $9.99 craft, and $8.50 spirits. Beer and wine for $6.50. Food specials are also fantastic with $4 tacos along with other reasonably priced food options. Our bartenders were lovely and very attentive.

Comfortable layout and spacious seating areas. Service was top notch as well. We had a a great waitress. She was friendly and attentive. Margaritas were good. I had the regular house margarita. The house made salsa was delicious and paired well with the fresh tortilla chips. Tacos were delicious as well. I had one al pastor, one carne asada, and one Barbacoa. All were excellent. Definitely had a great time here for lunch. I would love to come back for dinner.

First off...I went through "Happy hour" for cheap prices, you can be one of hundreds of sardines…read moresandwiched half inside/half outside. If you are going for the drinks, I'm sure you can overlook it. IF YOU ARE VEGAN AND HUNGRY, this place was not worth the price I paid. First, I got the Burrito (honestly, I wish I went to Chipotle. They know how to make a good Burrito.) THE BURRITO WAS CRUNCHY. I asked them if they could make it vegan- best offer was stir fry vegetables with WAYY TOO MUCH OIL, the rice- for some reason, was made with butter. The spices used on the vegetables were SO STRONG (after I asked for mild spice) that I couldn't feel my tongue for 30 min after Eva finally took it away (she offered 2 times, I felt bad about wanting to send it back after 2 bites. I tried to stomach more and I got really bad acid reflux from the spice) she came back to the table and offered to take it away a second time (Probably because she saw I was almost in tears from how I can't taste, my nose is running like a faucet and very quickly questioning my life decisions leading up to this "FOOD") I ordered the veggie Fajitas next. Again, too oily, spicy- but bearable. I was once told "if the food is too spicy, it means they're covering up that they can't cook" for a whopping $37 I learned the hard way. The ambience was basically the bare minimum of what's legally passable as a restaurant. It had tables, an overworked staff that took 20 min to seat us, 20 min after ordering for food and 15 min in between to check on us. This place was overcrowded and way over hyped. Not going again. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Even if I was starving, I'd walk 40 min to go to Chipotle. At least the burrito will be worth it.

Hi, I'm Glenn and I'm a mexican cuisine addict…read more... and I found my new place to get my fix... For years I have frequented a couple of local mexican restaurants; they were/are good but my eyes have been opened to Casa Tequila. Let me tell you what makes my appreciation of Casa Tequila... I have really enjoyed the other mexican restaurants we were going to for the past couple decades but the issue always come up when my wife and I travel to Mexico and enjoy authentic mexican food; arriving back at our local spots became a let-down because they were serving very americanized dishes (flooded with too much cheese and loads of unnecessary sauce. Casa Tequila is serving much more along the lines of what we have enjoyed in our many visits to various regions of Mexico; great balanced flavors and a menu with plenty of options. I don't normally go for the burritos but these burritos are the real deal (AND THEY ARE HUGE so come hungry)... try the "SUPER BURRITO" or the "ASADA BURRITO"; I've tried a bunch but these are the two I keep re-ordering. Recently I tried their "FAJITA TRIO" (fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimps)... it's a lot of food but leftovers always taste great the next day. Personally, we love sitting at the bar; the bartenders are amazing at making fresh margaritas (we always ask every mexican place to not use a pre-made mix... Casa Tequila hits the spot with amazing margaritas); although I normally have their flavored iced tea.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS…read more I came in expecting a Mexican restaurant to nail nachos. That's a reasonable expectation. Boy was I wrong. The Grande Nachos arrived in a ceramic dish so nuclear hot I couldn't touch it. By the time it cooled enough to eat, the cheese had souped itself across the entire plate and sealed every chip underneath in a molten tomb. The shredded beef was actually good. That's the tragedy. Good ingredients, catastrophic execution. The refried beans -- listed on the menu, credit for that -- were the murder weapon. Beans plus nuclear heat plus oily cheese plus ceramic dish equals guaranteed chip annihilation. What was left underneath wasn't chips. It was soggy, near liquid mush. The Fork Rule was violated immediately. I left feeling like my gut had survived a blitzkrieg. I went straight to Packy's just to forget what I'd eaten. This isn't a nacho. It's a deconstructed burrito in a ceramic dish. Someone didn't get the memo. 2/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 1/5 stars on Yelp. Full review with photos at floridanachoman.substack.com

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Boca…read more Their Chile Relleno is amazing . You will get 2 big ones and they are just delicious Everything is pretty good honestly BUT I won't be getting their chimichanga again because it's just filled with meat. That's it. Wish there was more to it... the nachos need a lot more to it as well We dined in and order a lot to go and all comes out pretty good regardless of the dining method

This place absolutely blew me away!…read more One of my friends and I decided to come here for New Years Eve dinner on a whim. They sat us in less than 5 minutes and it was very crowded. There were beautiful decorations covering the ceiling & adorned all over the restaurant. The service was timely. We ordered a skinny margarita and prickly pear margarita to start, which were delicious and strong! We started off with the tableside prepared guacamole, which we asked to be mixed mild. It was beyond fresh. Fresh is an understatement really. We couldn't get enough of it. When you're seated, there are complimentary chips with salsa. The salsa was a little spicy. For dinner, my friend ordered the pork burrito and I got the steak tacos with a side of shredded cheese. The steak tacos came with rice and pinto beans. There were onions and cilantro for toppings on the tacos. The tacos were on a soft tortilla. They were truly some of the best tacos I've ever had. So authentic, steak cooked to perfection. I will absolutely be coming here again! Seriously 10/10 experience from the food, to the ambiance, to the service.
