You can tell when someone genuinely loves what they're serving, and it makes all the difference. The flavors? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. The buffalo chicken egg rolls are non-negotiable - and you must ask for blue cheese with them. Trust me. The birria taquitos were phenomenal - rich, savory, perfectly balanced. The surf and turf quesadilla is officially my new go-to order. And my husband is still talking about the Baja fish tacos. Drinks were just as impressive (highly recommend the margaritas), and the overall vibe totally passed the check - lively, fun, but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy your meal and conversation. And for the quality and experience, the bill was very reasonable. We will absolutely be back. Papamigos is a gem.

I ordered online a mahi taco , chips and salsa and rice and beans . They gave many options when ordering online to customize your taco. I had added the avocado cream, beans , cilantro , lettuce and cheese to my taco. The taco was delicious and two would have been a good amount for me. The tacos are on the smaller side the single mahi taco was $5.89 The salsa that came with the chips was fresh and tasty / the only issue for me was the chips seemed like a small amount - maybe I was expecting there to be more - when I checked the order of chips and salsa was $1.55 so now the Amount seems fair. I enjoyed the rice and beans- was pinto beans and the side was 3.11 . I only waited a few minutes for my order . Definitely a place to try for great tacos !

The only item that had a good flavor is the bbq brisket, however in all my years eating Mexican food this is the only place I've eaten a tostada that was made from 1/2 a tortilla not a whole one. INSTANT REGRET! The place was basically empty when we walked in, and it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. Our server was friendly but barely checked on us and we even saw her vaping at the bar, which was super unprofessional. We ordered loaded nachos, a burrito to share, and two Diet Cokes. They brought out tiny 8 oz glass bottles we finished in seconds, no heads up that the fountain machine wasn't working. The food? Total disappointment. The food was cold. The loaded nachos were so salty, bland, and definitely not "loaded." Not even all the cheese was melted. The burrito was just dry chicken and plain white rice with no flavor at all. It honestly tasted like leftovers from two days ago. Overall, one of the worst Mexican meals we've ever had. Not surprised the place was empty if they keep this up, they won't be around much longer. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

The Day of the Dead skull theme and the neon lighting throughout provided a playful sexy mexican ambiance, which flowed into the bathrooms which displayed partially naked photorealistic women wearing Starwars ATAT Driver helmets covering their heads strategically positioned over the urinal and sinks - just a unique bathroom experience. Were in an upscale taco joint during Happy Hour and it's Taco Tuesday, so we went with the Street Tacos trio of steak bacon, baja fish and grilled chicken. Ordered three mini tacos and each fit into the palm of my hand. They were presented on a brown wooden plate and each taco sitting upright in its designated metal holder. The shells were very soft and the toppings provided a fresh vibrant appearance. Each taco was very good but one shined brighter than the others - which was the Baja Fish flavored with lime crema and cabbage slaw. They were so good we ordered another three and this time tried a different flavored hot sauce. The drink specials are incredible with $1 Margaritas 9pm - Close every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The bartender, Michelle, provided great service and anticipate a quick return for more tacos.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS. Taco Labs brought me here before I'd…read moreever heard of the place. The nachos were the reason for the visit. Turns out that was exactly the right reason. The birria beef is the best protein this series has seen. Dark, rich, shredded loose, deeply seasoned. The thick chips held up through the entire plate -- magnificently. The Fork Rule was never triggered. The plate was finished. Here's the problem. The queso is beautiful where it appears. It just doesn't appear everywhere. Scarce distribution on a nacho this good is the difference between a 7 and a 9. Fix that, heat the beef consistently, and actually let the lab sauce show up on the plate -- this is a 9. I spoke to management. Because this nacho deserves to be great and it's two fixable problems away from getting there. 7/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 4/5 stars on Yelp. Tonight I was craving Mexican food, and I decided to bring my sister to Taco Labs in Parkland. Going in, there was no wait and plenty of seating available. Tonight, we ordered 1x passion fruit margarita, 1x chicken quesadilla, and 3x individual tacos: tinga, tropical shrimp, and mahi mahi. As for the experience, while trying to keep my head up high, there were both highs and lows with tonight's meal. On the positive side, the margarita had a great balance of tequila and passion fruit; refreshing, tart, and not overly sweet. The chicken quesadilla reminded me of an elevated Taco Bell version, but with fresh chicken, plenty of cheese, a good press, and a creamy sauce that tied it all together. On the downside, although the tacos had fresh ingredients and nice contrasting flavors, they were disappointingly dry and lacked much protein. Additionally, while the food came out quickly, the service felt inattentive. I was ESPECIALLY FRUSTRATED to find that I was charged for the three‑taco plate even though I ordered the tacos individually. While I wasn't interested in having all the sides with my meal, it's unacceptable to charge someone for something they didn't order. Overall, I think Taco Labs has potential for improvement, but tonight's food and service didn't quite hit the mark. My final verdict is 3 out of 5 stars.

Hi, I'm Glenn and I'm a mexican cuisine addict…read more... and I found my new place to get my fix... For years I have frequented a couple of local mexican restaurants; they were/are good but my eyes have been opened to Casa Tequila. Let me tell you what makes my appreciation of Casa Tequila... I have really enjoyed the other mexican restaurants we were going to for the past couple decades but the issue always come up when my wife and I travel to Mexico and enjoy authentic mexican food; arriving back at our local spots became a let-down because they were serving very americanized dishes (flooded with too much cheese and loads of unnecessary sauce. Casa Tequila is serving much more along the lines of what we have enjoyed in our many visits to various regions of Mexico; great balanced flavors and a menu with plenty of options. I don't normally go for the burritos but these burritos are the real deal (AND THEY ARE HUGE so come hungry)... try the "SUPER BURRITO" or the "ASADA BURRITO"; I've tried a bunch but these are the two I keep re-ordering. Recently I tried their "FAJITA TRIO" (fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimps)... it's a lot of food but leftovers always taste great the next day. Personally, we love sitting at the bar; the bartenders are amazing at making fresh margaritas (we always ask every mexican place to not use a pre-made mix... Casa Tequila hits the spot with amazing margaritas); although I normally have their flavored iced tea.

I dined at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were unsalted and the salsa was oddly sour. I had two skinny margaritas which were very good and ordered the tacos al carbon, which comes with rice and beans. The tacos stood out, the steak was tender and had great flavor. The rice and beans were average. I've been to this location with my husband before and enjoyed the fajitas, so I *might* return if we were in the area and in the mood for Mexican, but I wouldn't go out of my way, to be honest.

With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday!
