The food was ok. It did come out pretty fast from when we órder it. I had the beef nachos and chicken tacos. The nachos were good but some chips were a bit stale. The tacos some chicken not sure if it was cook thoroughly as I did see some pink. It was a bit busy they only had 1 waitress. I had to ask for utensils since we didn't get them. Always looking for delicious authentic tacos and this is one of my new faves! I had a chicken sope, carne asada and carnitas taco, my friend had a chicken quesadilla. The wait was a little long but definitely worth it and everyone was super friendly. My parents tried the carne de res sopa which was a good portion and they enjoyed. Not bad...not great...not overpriced...not a deal. If you look at my previous reviews you'll see that I'm not new to the scene. I love, I mean love, Mexican food, especially tacos. Having lived in Chicago (1,000,000+ Mexicans) and Houston (just a few hours from the border), and having traveled México extensively for 25 years, I think I can spot authentic and quality. What works...the al pastor and the al carbon tacos. Both are good. What didn't work...everything else...the barbacoa was fatty and didn't have any flavor. The pollo was dry and the lengua was just meh. On top of that, they need to fix their tortilla supplier. All the tortillas fell apart. What was nice...their salsas were decent, and I appreciate that they included cebolla asada. 10 tacos for $30+ dollars...no bueno...in any economy. If you like standard tacos...this place is good. If you've traveled and have had amazing tacos in the past...you'll be underwhelmed. read more

I met the owner a few months back and he's a great guy. I just now got around to trying them out for lunch for the first time. I was blown away. Completely authentic. I got 4 tacos: chicken, pastor, barbacoa, and carne asada. I wasn't able to eat them right away as I got a bit busy, but when I got around to it they still were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. Each one of these tacos were TWO DOLLARS and had a generous portion of protein. Amazing. Both sauces were delicious as well: red was pretty hot but packs a ton of flavor. Green is definitely nowhere near as hot and also has a nice flavor. I will definitely be coming to this spot weekly. Awesome service and delicious fresh food. Ordered an assortment of tacos from this place and they were awesome. It was my first time trying out this restaurant and everything was very authentic, tasted delicious and very fairly priced. We ordered a bunch of tacos that included a couple of the Asada Taco, Pollo Taco, Chorizo Taco, Barbacoa Taco, and Al Pastor Taco. Everything was really fresh and the hot sauces and salsas were a great addition. I finally found a new new taco joint. And it was under my nose all along! I drive west on Sample every morning from 95. Not to mention I return the same way in going home. There is a few little spots but I never think of that stretch as a spot to get a good bite to eat. The other day we were talking about a spot to get lunch and one buddy(Panamanian) said Taqueria Latina was his favorite taco spot in S. Florida. High praise right? We had just found a different taco place last month and he declared TL was even better. So we went big We ordered for the whole office, a mix of almost 50 tacos. Crazy amount right? We also got the rice and the beans that were portioned out for everyone. the overall reviews of a mix of us gringos and Latinos in the office was they were awesome. I came for the tacos, but I got distracted by a lot of tasty sounding items in the menu. I got chorizo and asada tacos, a barbacoa sope, and a Camaron tostada. I didn't like the tostada. The sauce the shrimp was smothered in was super spicy... to me. I want to come back to have some soup. I was very happy with my food, other than the tostada. I will try another kind in my next visit. Granted, the place decor is not for everyone, but is very authentic. Prices are very reasonable and service was very good. I don't eat onions, so when I order my food I requested no Onions on it. The nice waiter told me that it came with Pico the Gallo, to which I replied to leave it out if it had onions. She offered to make one just for me without it. To me this is a big deal, for starters it is great service, second, you know they are making things fresh in the kitchen, and finally it is really offer by other establishments.
