I came to eat really quick with my boyfriend and let me tell you this place is amazing. The food is delicious like homemade good. Also they brought us chips & salsa as soon as we sat & refilled them without us even asking. They were fast and super nice I 100% recommend this place

Chicken Burrito Amigo / Amigo Burrito

BEST SERVICE AND FOOD!!! If you want good Mexican food, this is the place. You'll have a lovely time and have great food. The food was amazing, we got the birria tacos and the chicken burrito- both looked and tasted great. Photos don't do it justice. The salsa and guacamole was also really good. The service was amazing, the owner is so nice and really cares about the service being provided. He was so attentive and made sure we got everything we needed! We will 100% be back and can't wait to eat here again!

    Dos Amigos delightful dining room.

Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant true local gem. Visited last night ordered Carne Asada Y Mas. Excellent presentation (shown in picture) Great flavors thru out the dish. During our dinner the chef came by to check on the meal. Appeared with perfect timing. It was quite nice but restaurant could use some more business. Excellent taste and reasonably priced you should give it a try. Federal Hwy near Brandys shoes just south of 14th Street causeway.Pompano Beach.

Nice Mexican restaurant in strip mall on Route 1 . Owner was conscientious in serving us. Has a lunch menu . Had a nice margarita and steak fajitas . Shared our dessert of fried ice cream .

Excellent service with a smile, but it went downhill from there. We were immediately greeted by a middle-aged woman (possibly the owner) who sat us at a table and took our drink order. She was pleasant and explained the dishes and answered my questions. I ordered a shredded chicken burrito macho which is served with rice and beans inside (I asked only for rice in my burrito). We also ordered a chicken dinner with rice and beans which came with three four tortillas. Although the burrito looked good, it sure didn't taste good. The rice had a chemical taste to it that I struggle to describe. The shredded chicken was dry, overcooked, making it difficult to chew. The sauce that was poured over the burrito was oily and harsh tasting. As for the chicken dinner dish, let's just say that the beans were so runny that we should have ran out the door with them. The chips and salsa were the only thing we enjoyed beside the 5 star service.

Watered down margaritas with a very small salsa!

The food was average for a Mexican-American restaurant. The rice and beans lacked distinctive flavors.

The crisp watermelon mimosa was incredibly refreshing--light, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal!! My absolute favorites are the Cuban sandwich and the corned beef hash. A few small tables set against the wall and a few larger tables on the outside sidewalk. Doesn't look like much thought was placed on the design here. Service: Didn't wait at all for one of those small inside tables. My server was efficient and served my tea latte exactly as requested. Little things can often make the difference between a successful dining experience and not and here were a few of the small things that were provided that make a difference. I ordered the pancakes and my server suggested a side of scrambled eggs. The food: I received two pancakes which were well done, light and fluffy and the perfect size. I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.

I can order my food and sit down and by the time I'm done I am sweating. It shouldn't be like that. Today I said something. She said no it was because the door was opening and closing all the time. i asked her to ask the manager, and she said ok. I sat in the back and noticed the thermostat said 77degrees. when she delivered my food I showed her the "77 degrees " and she said she would say something to the manage. either the manager didn't want to help or didn't care but nothing was done. I'm sure that lowering it to 74 or 75 would make people come back more often. I finished my meal sweating and left. not sure I'll be back. Sorry Mark p.s. Maybe some ceiling fans would help!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The environment is fun, and there are plenty of clever artifacts and photos to engage the eye. On to the food... we ordered the Southwest bowl and the lox bagel. As you can see from the pictures, the portions are sizable and the value for this area was decent. I think the total bill was around $30 for two entrées, a tea, and tip. The bowl has beans, tomatoes, avocado, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. It comes with a Mexican sauce and sour cream. We used a little of the sauce, as we found the dish a bit bland. Both eggs and black beans needed a little salt to enhance their flavors. While it was good, it was very soupy. The beans were not drained well, which I'm guessing--combined with the tomatoes--caused it. The lox bagel was beautiful but very hard to eat. The owners might want to consider dicing the tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, as there's no way to eat this without deconstructing it. The salmon was good quality. Next time, I'd get a seasoned bagel instead of plain--it would probably be epic on an everything bagel. There are many other options for breakfast or lunch, and we would probably come back to try something different.

It's always good to walk into a fast food restaurant and find it spotlessly clean. Bonus points for every employee having a smile when greeting me! The meat was moist and juicy and full of flavor! The yucca fries with crispy on the outside and soft inside. The drink was very refreshing and I refilled it. I decided to check out this casual restaurant which has a clean and inviting atmosphere. I placed a dine-in order for a 2-pc fried chicken meal with a drink, dinner roll, and a side of Campero rice. I also ordered another side of sweet plantains. After paying, I received a table number marker so the food could be delivered to my table. Within minutes the food arrived and appeared appetizing. I started with the chicken leg, which was lightly breaded, crispy on the outside, and both tender and flavorful on the inside; it was accompanied by a soft dinner roll. The plantains, fried to a golden brown, were deliciously sweet. The seasoned rice was tasty and cooked to a soft consistency. The meal was satisfactory and filling, along with the cold, refreshing beverage. I felt a bit bad about leaving the plate on the table, but I didn't see any trash bins anywhere. I asked an employee what to do with the plate, and she replied that she would take care of it. I truly look forward to returning to try the grilled chicken and the other sides next.
