As someone who loves Mexican cuisine, I'm always searching for truly authentic spots, and this little mom and pop shop has officially become my go to. It's a cozy spot with a warm, welcoming vibe, and I'm always greeted by the friendly staff with big smiles. We're immediately served complimentary house made tortilla chips with both mild and spicy salsa, which are always fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the entree's. I ordered the Burrito Verde, which comes with a side of perfectly seasoned yellow rice and refried beans. The flavors were incredible, and the generous portions mean you'll def have leftovers for the next day. Everything tastes like it's made with love. If you're in the area and craving authentic Mexican food, this is absolutely the place to try.

Great place. Plenty of parking available in front of the store. When we walked in, we were seated immediately. The decor was slightly dark but the feel was authentic. We got 3 different dishes. I shared the mojarra with my daughter. We both enjoyed it. My spouse had the chimichanga. My aunt had the enchilada. The food came pretty fast & everything arrived correctly. Visited this restaurant last week. The staff was very friendly and fast. We enjoyed the ambience as the restaurant was small but very welcoming and it was not very busy during lunch. The steak was amazing and we enjoyed the chips and salsa as well as the soup. We look forward to visiting again and trying more things off the menu.

My wife was in the mood for Mexican, and after a quick look on Yelp decided to give El Paso Restaurant a try. The place has a very colorful and eclectic decor. Thee ambiance is casual and relaxed. We were promptly shown to a table and they quickly too care of our drink orders. Service was friendly. I opted for a churrasco stake. It came with a chimichurri sauce that was very tasty. Overall, I was happy with my dish. My wife had the fajitas. She felt it needed more seasoning. My son had the las casa stake, that came with onions. He ate it all, so thats a good sign! Overall, we enjoyed our visit to El Paso Restaurant.

I wanted to visit this place for some time. Customer service: it's okay. The restaurant was not busy but took a while to get a to go box. I felt ignored which was frustrating. Food: Churrasco steak: $17.95 Rating: 7/10 Lack seasoning. Black bean too salty for me Complimentary chip &salsa Rating 8/10 Drink: Pina colada: $6:95 Rating: 10/10 It's creamy and sweet. Perfect on a hot day. Space is decorated in traditional Hispanic pieces. They have two tvs which plays sports game. I like that the music is not crazy loud. Tip: parking is easy. It is located right next to Publix. My experience was meh . Nothing special

I've been back multiples times since my earlier review and have not been disappointed since then ! Received a friendly greeting when i walked in the door today ! A basket of warm chips with salsa followed shortly. . Tip; ask for the spicy and mix it with the regular. You'll thank me later. Wanted something different than my usual fajitas. This "Tex Mex" place has some great Cuban dishes as well. Picadillo was nicely seasoned and had olives and raisins. Was perfect ! Also had beans on the side. Don't skip this place !

This place is legit broski oski... they are doing all the right things. We can check mark versus the other Mexican spots around and El Paso is hittin in all cylinders. First and foremost... mild & spicy salsa and chips... G status... Secondly... the Chicken & Shrimp Fajita platter is straight fire! Thirdly... they have serious steaks here and entrees overall. Don't you Paso-ver this place mistakenly! See what I did there? lol I know cheesy.... but this place is Legit & Smooooth

Owned by Luz, who hails…read morefrom Mexico City, and with a chef from the Yucatan at the helm, this restaurant delivers a truly authentic and homemade Mexican dining experience. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! Order: Tacos - Cochinita, Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Tinga Street corn with mayo, lime, Tijin, cream and queso fresco Birria Tacos - 3 tacos with consomme onion and ciltrano Churros - Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Drinks - Horchata and Tamarind

It is part of a South Florida chain founded by restaurateur Marc Falsetto along with Anthony Bruno, Pat Marzano, Hall of Fame Miami Dolphins Dan Marino, and local radio personality Paul Castronovo. This Tacocraft restaurant is located on the corner of the first floor of the mixed use Village Square Complex on University Dr. in Coral Springs. They also have locations in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and at the Plantation Walk. I stopped by after attending the nearby Blarney Bash for a late snack and cocktail. They have a beautifully decorated dining room with a tree and basket lights but my friend was cold and wanted to stay outside. Their sidewalk dining wraps around two sides of the building and we were seated on the University Dr side. At first it seemed fine but after a few minute of watching the cars speed by including police and ambulances we started to rethink the safety. It seemed entirely possible that someone could lose control of their car and plow into the sidewalk. The Tacocraft menu is divided into snacks, ensaladas, entrees and bowls, fajitas, and tacos. The flavor packed tacos including chicken Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Korean Short Rib, and Chorizo & Egg tacos are stand outs. They also serve cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks, sides, and desserts. They are especially known for their ultimate nachos. After studying the menu I chose the $15 coconut margarita made with casamingos blanco, cream of coconut, fresh lime, and coconut flakes. It was both strong and delicious. It really hit the spot. I paired my margarita with a crispy shrimp taco, tempura fried shrimp, mango salsa, and spicy mayo. It was $7.50 for the one taco so definitely on the expensive side but it really delivered on the crunch and the taste. This was my first time trying Tacocraft so I was dipping my toe in to check them out. This restaurant is for people who don't mind paying more for a beautiful place to hang out and creativity in the menu.

Our server did not check in on us for over an hour. I had to walk up to the entrance of the kitchen to get someone to bring her to us. Mind you, she walked past our table multiple times to check in on other tables, flipped a table who came in wayyy after us, and it was not busy. Like more than half the restaurant was empty.
