We stopped in for lunch after watching a movie this past weekend. Service was attentive from start to finish. We shared the guacamole to start, which is made tableside and absolutely delicious. For our meal, we split the steak fajitas and they were excellent, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked, which we both loved. The chips were very good, and we ended up enjoying them more with the guacamole than the salsa. The only downside for me was the salsa itself, which was very watered down, almost like a thin liquid with lots of onions. We're so glad we gave this place a try and will definitely be back since our lunch was delicious. I've been here before in the past but it's been a little while. The staff is great. We got sat almost immediately upon arriving, and our server soon after greeted us. I got the sangria and it was sooo big and yummy! Definitely worth the price. We also got the queso to start and all thought it was really good. For our meals, everyone loved their food. I had the dos amigos and I loved everything, however, the beans were a little bland. The steak and rice was really good as was the bacon wrapped shrimp. My other friend got the grande nachos and I didn't try them but she said it's her go-to and they looked super delicious. Definitely going to order that next time. My other friend got tacos, and she also said hers was really good but she did complain that the tacos were soggy so the tortillas were falling apart. This is my daughter's favorite mexican restaurant in the Coral Springs area. The service is great you are greeted with a smile from all the staff and you also get your food served right away. Nicely decorated and fun atmosphere with Mariachi band. This past Friday we tried the carne asada tacos and Chicken tortilla soup. Nice portions. We live in West Boca and the Boca location is our favorite place to dine in but when we order Uber Eats, the Coral Springs location can't be beat! So amazingly good and packed to perfection, always arriving hot and fresh! I wish I had gotten photos before we devoured everything, but it was just too good to wait. The salsa is spicy like we love, the queso and guacamole - both perfection! The Pollo Mexicano and Camerones Chipotle are to die for. My sons inhaled their birria tacos and steak fajitas. Hubby and I went to Casa Tequila after seeing a movie next door and having enjoyed our experience at the Boca Raton location years ago. The dining room is decorated nicely. We went and sat at the bar, which was very small. Realistically, it only had 3 viable seats given the servers don't have a dedicated drink pickup space. The service wasn't very good due to a language barrier with the bartender and their inability to make a patron margarita in a large glass. My strawberry margarita was good. My fajita quesadilla was seasoned nicely, but the veggies were not cooked through and there were green onions thrown everywhere on top. Hubby's steak tacos were seasoned nicely but covered in onions, which was not as the menu described, to his disappointment. Overall, our experience fell flat. read more

Unfortunately, Casa Tequila has gone downhill fast. I returned to this Mexican restaurant tonight at the request of my family. If you read my other review, I wasn't terribly impressed, but I figured it couldn't be that bad. It was bad. After ordering drinks and waiting 25 minutes, we noticed that our drinks had been sitting at the bar for 15 of the 25 minutes that we were waiting. After several complaints from my family, I walked over to ask the server what was taking so long, it appeared that our server was in a conversation with her coworkers which seemed more important than serving her customers. we quickly asked for the check and left a nice tip. Sure wouldn't want to stick around for the rest of the show. Sorry folks, this place has just gone down the tubes. Lost to workers that don't care, and incompetent managers that do nothing. This was my first time at this Mexican restaurant, but definitely won't be my last. My family that lives up in this area, love this restaurant. They said they have great food and adult beverages. I'm not a drinker, but I love delicious entrees. There are many selections to choose from. I posted a menu, so you can look at the menu, before or during your visit. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly and attentive. I saw so many people order the guacamole. My table said guacamole is fresh! The waitress comes at the table, and cut and mix onions and etc for a dipping. My family loves guacamole, but not me. They said it was good! We love coming here for birthdays and whenever we want some good Mexican food. The dip appetizer comes with salsa, a guacamole dip, queso and another dip. They're all great. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa. When it's your birthday the staff comes and brings out a big sombrero and sings happy birthday. I've had the birria tacos here and they were amazing! Second time here and we tried a couple of different things. The fajita burrito with steak came resting in a plate of some special red sauce. This was a no bueno combination IMO. The other dish was the Camarones Cancun which says the shrimp are grilled. They looked like sautéed shrimp and had no crispness. Overall that dish was ok. read more

This place is one of my favorites. Staff is always on point and very cordial, the place is always clean and organized, and I love when they have live music sometimes. I honestly haven't tried something here that I didn't like. But their pollo Mexicano is the ultimate comfort food for me. I love it! Found this place on google whe searching and trying to decide where to have dinner to celebrate a bday. Walked in and was seated right away. Server came right over we started off with the nachos whichs were very good with every bite taken. We all ordered a different and tried a bite of each others and let me just say nothing disappointed! Ordered delivery from Cafe Tequila. Had Taquitos and an order of Chicken Mole. Not a lot of places offer Mole, so I was happy to find a place that did! The taquitos were filled with chicken and were very good. I had expected them to be hollow and barely filled, so I was pleasantly surprised. They came with some sour cream and salsa (pico?). My husband and I decided to try this place after leaving the movies tonight and we were so thrilled that we did. First of all every server and worker there is so polite and welcoming. The ambiance is very relaxed and warming. The food was so amazing and and came out super quick. As soon as we sat we were immediately greeted by a waitress with some warm chips and salsa. I ordered the shrimp ceviche and shredded beef tostada. Everything was so flavorful and the portions were huge. I have enough left over for two more days. My husband ordered the burrito and he couldn't even finish the whole thing. My favorite part was the flan, definitely is homemade not store bought, was so rich and creamy. I would come back here for the flan alone. All in all we had a great experience here. I order from Casa Tequila quite often on uber eats but have never been for dine in. Food is good, and margaritas are pretty good too. I like that they don't use a super over the top sour mix. Great menu and great prices. I do however think they rush the service, we went for lunch today (around 2:30) and they were NOT busy at all, and I just felt that they wanted us in and out, not sure why. I came here with a bunch of my friends from church so it was a friends and family style lunch. We filled out about 14 seats or so. I definitely enjoyed complimentary chips & salsa as always when I come to Mexican restaurants. One thing I noticed is that they don't have my favorite menu item, chicken quesadillas. To be fair, they have a veggie one. I know that's more of a Mexican-American dish, but I think they'd fair well adding it to the menu. The burritos here are huge! If i could give this place 0 stars I would. My friends and I went here following the movies and had an awful experience. For starters the food there is incredibly expensive with terrible quality. Just picture a 20$ quesadilla that tastes like the cheese is expired. Secondly, the booths are not secured my friend leaned up on the booth and the entire thing flipped injuring him. Well me and my girlfriend get there and we are seated outside when we first got there not busy at all but then started getting a little busy so now there are four families total outside sitting where me and my partner are and there is one waiter serving everyone we ordered water but as the other guest were seated the aired serving all tables ran to each table one after the other one of the families was a family of 8 so now we are waiting for our water we ordered he goes inside maybe about five -10 min later after taking everybody's drink order we still have not received our water ... not a big deal right ... ok no problem .. maybe about five more minutes here he comes with a tray full of drinks passes me and my girlfriend and says your waters are coming ok no problem he then goes to the table behind us and gives them there drinks and as he sets the last drink down he says to the women and this is your water wow ok so now this table was seated after me along with family of 8 and he really got there drinks before ours ok I didn't really care much at first so we ordered our food we wanted to fresh guacamole which states on the menu "made table side " that's why we got it . Ok so he puts our order in few minutes later another waiter comes out and sets down a bowl of guac ok I was like thought it was table side made but whatever maybe he is busy ... then my waiter comes to go to the table of 8 and is making the fresh guac at the table . I was appalled I asked why was ours not made table side like that he told me he was busy really your to busy but you did it for the family of 8 ... but not for me and my partner ... he just kept saying he is busy that's why they didn't make it for us but literally the service just got worse from there I asked for a manger who I clearly saw was told they were getting manager and also bring my checked which I asked for but he literally went inside came back out side with fresh drinks for the family of 8 which by now my water was dry as a dessert and not once did he come a fill my drink ... the manager magically disappeared and was no longer there when I clearly saw the manger minutes ago bringing food outside to another table .. horrible service unless your a table of 4 or more read more

Arrived early around 4:00pm and was not completely convinced about the place it was empty and not a lot happening. I decided to try it anyway and so glad I did. I have never eaten Mexican food this good and I have been to several of them. I can't wait to go back.
