Sopes, tacos, and guac - OMG im in heaven. Just imagine a little piece of Mexico in our own backyard. It is a small mom and pops shop with authentic taste. Food: We ordered tacos of steak, chicken and chorizo. The chicken was a little dry but the other two. Wowowowow chefs kiss. For the tacos You have the option of adding the lettuce and sour cream or just cilantro and onions. The sope was so flavorful. I added avocado for an extra touch. I added steak to it as well. The carne asada fries were a hit. Imagine tacos just with a base of French fries. Please call me a potatoe because I love fries!!! It has cheese, pico de gallo, jalapenos, cilantro, sour cream, and steak The service was quick! They were very attentive and friendly. Trust me just come!!!

If you're looking for mouth-watering tacos, La Union Bakery ll is the place to be! I recently visited, and I was blown away by their vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered tacos Al pastor, fajitas and the gorditas. The tacos Al pastor were perfectly seasoned, tender, and complemented by fresh cilantro and onions, etc. The prices are affordable, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a quick lunch. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Our server was very kind and attentive, helping us with suggestions. It's definitely a hidden gem, absolutely delicious food. I was so excited to see the fruits and raspados stand inside the restaurant. The Al pastor tacos were great just wish they were a little more saucy but they weren't greasy. The barbacoa quesadilla was so cheesy and saucy it was amazing. The Gordita looked great, but was a little hard to eat with the plastic utensils. The Birria tacos definitely stole the show, so cheesy, flavorful, the consomé so delicious. Definitely a great spot.
From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. The first thing I noticed was the regional Mexican Music playing and the amazing smell! The restaurant is small and simple, so nothing fancy! They were all very friendly and helpful with menu items! I love that they have breakfast-dinner food! I went for dinner and everything I had was amazing!! I highly recommend the nachos for large groups and of course the tacos. They make the tortillas in house so they're amazing!! I also tried the sope de pollo, which was good and the pozole (great) they also have horchata, fruit juices, and Mexican hot chocolate which are all really good!! I personally really liked the pineapple juice! Can't recommend this place enough! Can't wait to go back for breakfast!

I had the Tacos on of Lengua (tongue) and the other pork... they where awesome. this where legit... we shared a la union Nachos... all I can say is wow... really good and authentic MEXICAN not south west .... attention was also great.... Visiting La Union for birria tacos has become a monthly event I always look forward to. The tacos get better and better every time! Wonderful food and service with every visit. This place will always be my go-to for authentic food and I will always recommend it for anyone craving birria tacos. Yum!
Always great eats $2.50 tacos ,,, love the little ice cream bar in front they have sour sop ice cream ,,, food doesn't take long at all ,, I was sad not to get sauce with my Briia taco it still was good tho I wanted to eat everything,, fresh baked items at the register and the best part jarritos!!!!!also not for nothing but the straws actually reached in the whole bottle
I can't get enough of this place! No need to go to Mexico because this is as authentic as it gets. Even though I don't speak Spanish, they are so patient with me anytime I come order and usually just show pictures from fellow helpers post. Last visit I ordered the tacos with the dipping sauce. Have no idea what it's called. Just showed her a pic and I was a happy little school girl when I bit into that first bite. Hubby is a creature of habit and always gets the enchiladas. When we stop by, we always grab some pastries for breakfast in the AM and a it's a sin to come and not grab something from Frulados. Def make the stop. You won't be disappointed with anything you get.
La Union Bakery is a local landmark, beloved by the community for it's inexpensive, fast, and tasty authentic Mexican food. Maria Nieto and her family, originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, opened the first taqueria and bakery shop in 2011 on the site of a former pizzeria on Wiles Road in Coral Springs. Some of the bakery specialities include dyed sugar cookies, guava empanadas, conchas, conas, baguettes, yeast rolls, and their best seller, tres leches cake. In 2018 they opened this second location in Margate in the El Bodegon shopping plaza on Sample Road. The pastries are made in the original location and brought here. There is a small dining area and along one wall is a stand serving shaved fruit ice creations drenched in condensed milk. This place is as authentic as it gets. It is food like your Abuela would make. Spanish is the primary language spoken here but the staff speaks English too. I saw a table filled with three generations of a family enjoying their meal. I was fixated on the tacos and I ordered the asada, pollo, and carnitas. They are served in soft flour tortillas with lettuce, tomato, queso fresco crema, cilantro, and lime. I also ordered the pollo flauta and steak nachos. It was a feast. The only problem I had with the food was when my guest bit intro a toothpick left in a pollo flauta. I recommend looking over the food before eating. Other than that you really can't go wrong with anything you order here. The staff was very kind too. They brought me a cup of water while I waited. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, La Union will satisfy your craving.
Third time visiting Valentina's Bakery. This is great for breakfast or an afternoon treat of coffee and dessert. Love the coffee. Peruvian influenced food with beautifully balanced flavors. Excellent service, very clean, indoor and outdoor seating with great food. How can you resist?
First time here. The plaza is big so its easy to miss, kind of in the cut. Food was !! Great prices too. Had the birria tacos which came with rice- I added avocado, refried beans, and a jarritos soda for a total of $23. Plus I had leftovers Will definitely be back. The waitress was very attentive and sweet as well.
Discovered this gem long ago and I love it! I usually get a burrito and I really like them. This location is closer so I usually come here but I do love the other location on Wiles. This location offers Mexican ice cream and I've tried before and it was really good. They have a bunch of flavors. They also offer pasties and cakes for sale. I've never eaten in but just usually call in my order. The place is generally busy and that was the case that evening. This time I decided to get steak nachos and they were decent. I was told my order would take 5-10 minutes but it ended up taking about 25 minutes. They came with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, refried beans, meat of choice, and pico de gallo. The steak was a bit dry and I was told there would be more for the price but it wasn't a mound as described lol. I probably won't get them again but it was worth a try. read more
I've been hearing about this place for a while and I'm so happy I got to finally try it. Main take away AUTHENTIC & FLAVORFUL ! The ladies working inside were very nice and welcoming. I'm sure they could see how excited I was to be there . It felt like what I would imagine walking into a local restaurant in Mexico would feel like. I ordered the chicken burrito which was so delicious ! It came filled with rice , beans, lettuce tomatoes and more. The salsa verde was amazing and paired well with the burrito. I also got the Birria tacos which I must say are the best I've ever had . I won't be going anywhere else for my Birria. The meat was seasoned well and the corn tortillas was fresh and toasted just right. The consume was soooo good !! I highly recommend a visit. I already know what I'll be trying next! read more
La Union 2 is now El Carnal (Margate) This location was originally a Mexican restaurant owned by a family friend, later taken over by the Nieto family as the second La Union location. While the food was consistently good, it never achieved the same following or momentum as the original Wiles Road (Coral Springs) location or the North Lauderdale (#3) branch owned by Sra. Nieto's grandson, Javier Camacho. In October 2025, ownership transferred to other family friends, and the restaurant was rebranded as El Carnal under new manager Lolita. The menu and kitchen staff remain unchanged, and they continue sourcing baked goods from La Union Bakery. The new ownership plans to expand the menu with new takeout options. The Nieto family continues to operate the two other La Union locations and focus on their grocery/bodega business in Coral Springs. I'm not sure if this is the same folks as "Taqueria El Canal" with multiple locations in Miami, because the logo is different. read more

Authentic food and quick service. Tacos are small, which I believe is the authentic way, so remember to order a lot of them (tacos). The Tomatillo (green) sauce is out of this world. Easy on the wallet. A post card included in one of my recent Pickup/Takeout orders advised you may now order online directly from the restaurant and the first time so ordering (direct online) a customer is entitled to 10% off. I did the online for 10% off about a day ago and noticed it is part of a service called CHOW NOW. Worth it. read more

Came here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon at around 1 pm - wasn't too busy inside, but after we sat down a whole crowd of people came in. We ordered the Quesabirria as well as a couple orders of carne asada tacos, and all the food was so good. Service was great despite us not knowing any Spanish - there was only a slight mess up, as we had ordered carnita & barbacoa tacos, but when the food came out it was only carne asada tacos (but the server showed us the order on his machine and we were only charged for carne asada tacos so it was okay!). But we weren't complaining, the food was great and super authentic!! My sister ordered the quesabirria and it was definitely a favorite. read more

Found this place on google maps. When I arrived the place was empty. But I went in to check it out. I'm so glad I stayed. The food is fire af. I got 3 Asada tacos. We also got the burrito that was so darn good. Everything had good flavor. I'll definitely be going to here. Definitely worth it. read more

Amazing place! Very affordable and tasty. After our first visit, we go there every month now! Birria tacos are my favorite! The street tacos are also great. Staff is super friendly and quick. It's 30 mins to our house but so worth it. read more
La Union is the F**king bomb!!! Their Birria Tacos ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! El Pastor Taco are another favorite and I love adding the homemade sauce brought to the table! Homemade horchata is the drink that you can never get enough of! The service is fun especially when your Spanish is non existent and the servers are so patient while you point to pictures. LOL. If you like AUTHENTIC REAL food from a place that puts all their love into every dish then get your ass to La Union 2...leave your attitude and bougieness at the door and step into greatness of flavor and delight!! read more

A little late leaving this review but I placed an order for my son's graduation party. The tres leches cake was utterly delicious and beautifully decorated. I order ceviche and a mix of tacos which includes all the fixings and sauces. Huge hit! He loved it and so did the family. Best choice I could have made! read more

Super clean, relaxed and definitely very casual atmosphere. You are able to order to go, all employees wear mask and the service is fast. You have a menu at the register and the items are very inexpensive. Everyone was calm, and you can feel a relaxed mood after working hours. Not sure how it feels earlier since I only stopped because it was on my way out of Coral Springs. I ordered tamales and pastries called conchas as well as a drink. You are Also able to pay contactless with your phone or chip card as they have the reader. Will come back again, and definitely suggest as the food was fresh. read more

This was SOO GOOD! It's really hard to find chicken tacos that are, well, seasoned! These had the right flavor, perfect amount of heat when paired with the salsa verde and just enough toppings for you to enjoy your taco. It was fresh, delicious, and at the right temperature. My only thing would be the tortilla, but mostly because I prefer mine to have more corn in them. I'm definitely going to be back soon to try more things. read more
