Craving for some lengua tacos and this place did not disappoint. A very unassuming establishment from the outside with a very dated and a little rundown interior but appreciated the Mexican theme inside. The music was a little bit too loud but not horrible. The toilets were not that clean but also not overly horrible. The waitress unfortunately could not speak English so there was a lot of pointing and nodding and Google translate. Was fun to order in Spanish. We did ask for the guacamole but it never came to the table. We got a very small amount of corn chips for the table with two salsas- tasty and a nice tummy filler while waiting for our dinner. My son wanted just a plain cheese quesadilla but it came fried as per the attached picture - he didn't enjoy it until the next day when he decided to take a bite. I don't think we will order that again as he just likes it plain but it was a nice change. The beef soup was absolutely delicious - my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. I will try something else next time but will for sure get the lengua tacos without question - highlight of the meal!!!

Nice authentic, Mexican place. Reasonable pricing, clean environment. I wish there was some music or something playing in the background so there's not an awkward silence but the yummy food makes up for it. They have cow tongue dishes which you don't come across often and the menu says they have menudo on the weekends and I can't wait to return and try it. Complimentary chips and salsa is provided.

The customer service is a 5/10 but that may be due the language barrier. So I'm not going to hold it against them. But this pollo quesadilla frita is a 10/10. It literally has me in a chokehold lol.I had some tacos as well that was 8/10.

4 stars for food and 2 stars for service. We went on a Sunday for lunch. We were promptly greeted and brought waters, chips/salsa. There was red and green salsa. Both tasted fresh and were really good. After that, the service declined. We placed our orders for food and waited 30 for the two tacos to come out. After 10 more minutes the enchiladas were served. They use the white crumbling cheese....no shredded cheddar cheese here. The server never checked on us after the food was delivered. We would have liked more silver ware and chips. My friend went up to the bar to get the silverware since the server wasn't checking on us. Overall, food was good, but the lack of service makes me not want to rush ack. I wouldn't go out of my area to try this place. There is plenty of parking in the attached parking lot for free.

There's a lot to like here. There are some problems, but they are outweighed by the good food. Real Mexican - not Tex-Mex. Tacos prepared simply with delicious cuts of meat, onion and cilantro. Refreshing Agua frescas, tamales, and much more. The service was slow, the kitchen was slow... But I wasn't in a hurry and ultimately the food was worth the wait.

Owned by Luz, who hails…read morefrom Mexico City, and with a chef from the Yucatan at the helm, this restaurant delivers a truly authentic and homemade Mexican dining experience. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! Order: Tacos - Cochinita, Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Tinga Street corn with mayo, lime, Tijin, cream and queso fresco Birria Tacos - 3 tacos with consomme onion and ciltrano Churros - Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Drinks - Horchata and Tamarind

There's only about six to eight tables, but they do a great job with their business, or so it seems. There is a study line of takeout orders. And the food is delicious! You can order each taco individually and do as many as possible. My favorite by far was the one with pineapples. I'm a sucker for pineapples on tacos. Definitely a new local spot for us to frequent.

This location offers Mexican ice cream and I've tried before and it was really good. They have a bunch of flavors. They also offer pasties and cakes for sale. I've never eaten in but just usually call in my order. The place is generally busy and that was the case that evening. This time I decided to get steak nachos and they were decent. I was told my order would take 5-10 minutes but it ended up taking about 25 minutes. They came with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, refried beans, meat of choice, and pico de gallo. The steak was a bit dry and I was told there would be more for the price but it wasn't a mound as described lol. I probably won't get them again but it was worth a try.

It is part of a South Florida chain founded by restaurateur Marc Falsetto along with Anthony Bruno, Pat Marzano, Hall of Fame Miami Dolphins Dan Marino, and local radio personality Paul Castronovo. This Tacocraft restaurant is located on the corner of the first floor of the mixed use Village Square Complex on University Dr. in Coral Springs. They also have locations in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and at the Plantation Walk. I stopped by after attending the nearby Blarney Bash for a late snack and cocktail. They have a beautifully decorated dining room with a tree and basket lights but my friend was cold and wanted to stay outside. Their sidewalk dining wraps around two sides of the building and we were seated on the University Dr side. At first it seemed fine but after a few minute of watching the cars speed by including police and ambulances we started to rethink the safety. It seemed entirely possible that someone could lose control of their car and plow into the sidewalk. The Tacocraft menu is divided into snacks, ensaladas, entrees and bowls, fajitas, and tacos. The flavor packed tacos including chicken Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Korean Short Rib, and Chorizo & Egg tacos are stand outs. They also serve cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks, sides, and desserts. They are especially known for their ultimate nachos. After studying the menu I chose the $15 coconut margarita made with casamingos blanco, cream of coconut, fresh lime, and coconut flakes. It was both strong and delicious. It really hit the spot. I paired my margarita with a crispy shrimp taco, tempura fried shrimp, mango salsa, and spicy mayo. It was $7.50 for the one taco so definitely on the expensive side but it really delivered on the crunch and the taste. This was my first time trying Tacocraft so I was dipping my toe in to check them out. This restaurant is for people who don't mind paying more for a beautiful place to hang out and creativity in the menu.
