When we arrived, our server never introduced herself. Instead, she immediately asked how we would be paying and whether we were ready to order. We didn't even get her name throughout the entire meal. Her demeanor made us feel like she was bothered to be serving us, and the overall service felt very rushed and inattentive. I specifically chose this location because I had previously visited the Embarcadero location in Pembroke Pines. Although that location was smaller, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and our server was extremely attentive, which made the experience so enjoyable. The food here was delicious, and I have no complaints about the quality of the food itself. Unfortunately, the poor service really took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration because the food deserves better service.

We asked which ceviche is their best and she recommended the Ceviche Mixto. It was ready just a few minutes after and we walked over to the beach to enjoy it. She packaged it nicely to make sure nothing spilled. And the crunchy corn was packaged separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Thoughtful! It was super delicious! Nice mix of different fish, it was citrusy, oniony, crunchy from the corn. Everything I wanted in a ceviche. Definitely recommend!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The hostess was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our visit, especially since our server took our order and never returned to check on us again. We ordered the corvina ceviche, traditional wok with chicken, churrasco, and a side of plantains. The ceviche took approximately 20-25 minutes to arrive, and our entrees didn't come out until nearly 50 minutes after we ordered in which our steak was overcooked and definitely not medium. Meanwhile, the table next to us was seated after us and received their meals within about 15 minutes. By that point, it was already 9:30 p.m., and we were understandably frustrated, especially since our son doesn't eat ceviche and had been waiting the entire time for his meal. The manager came over, apologized, and explained that he wasn't sure what had happened with our order. We appreciated that he took the time to address the situation and offered us dessert. However, by then it was approaching 9:45 p.m., and we were ready to get the check and head home. The food was genuinely very good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We're undecided about whether we'll return, but we hope this was simply an off night because the kitchen clearly has a lot of potential.

Super friendly staff plus their willingness to answer questions and help with special requests really solidified that charm and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately though, while the food and drinks were decent, I was constantly saying this is 'almost' really good. Chicharones were fatty and cooked perfectly but not seasoned, steak was flavorful and cooked nicely but not tender, the egg on top of the steak was overcooked so there was only one tiny spot of jammy yolky goodness, ceviche ingredients were tender and succulent but the sauce tasted like thousand island dressing, etc...
