When I walked in I was told it's by appointment only, I explained to her that I couldn't get through but all she said to me was sorry and they were having trouble with their phone lines. Now, I'm the farthest thing from a cheater on either account, but I had a weak moment when I was offered a rush interview two days away, in Atlanta. My stylist was off the day I found out & I was pressed for time so I went to a place that will remain nameless.. (unless I do another review just for them..) to have my hair quickly shaped up again. To my dismay I left looking worse than when I went in. Now as far as the other stylists go in the salon, I can't attest for them since I've been loyal to only one. They are very nice, but have never been the ones to make me beautiful after I've let 6 inches of roots cascade down my previously blonde hair. :) After the straying to the not so great place I called April, my stylist, defeated to see if she could squeeze me in the day before I flew out for my interview. She was off, but knew how important this was to me so she made some major arrangements and got me in for an appointment. This woman is so great, she had me come to her HOUSE because she knew how much this meant to me. I did the walk of shame into her house, but she fixed me right up again. This is obviously not a normal practice of a hair stylist, but April goes above and beyond and it has meant the world to me. I have gotten to the point to where I can go in there looking like a train wreck and come out looking like a Mercedes. I tell her to do whatever she wants and I always come out feeling amazing. I can get a cut, multiple colors & my eyebrows done for an extremely awesome price. If she leaves I'd follow her anywhere because you just don't find such amazing customer service as what I've found with her. April is one of the few who I've found that doesn't view this as just a job. She takes pride in making you feel great about yourself, and if you don't she won't let you leave until you do. I'm always reading where women are looking for a new stylist, and whenever I can I send them to April. She is awesome in every sense of the word and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to see her. I would give her double the stars on here if I were able to. She is the best, and I'll never do the walk of shame again. :)

She suggested the Main Look & I wasn't disappointed. Don't go there expecting to be pampered or a relaxing waxing experience. You'll be waxed in the middle of the salon at the hair washing stations. Don't worry though, what it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in speed & price. $13 for a brow wax & it was quite literally the fastest ever (in & back at my car in 5 minutes). There are 1000 nail salons on every street. Why not reward your loyal customers. The only semi-con I have is when I got my brows done. I loved the outcome; BUT, the associate double dipped my sticks in the wax and she doesn't apply pressure to the skin after the rip. So if you're going there for eyebrows; request them to break the sticks in half or in 3's prior to dipping them in the wax and request they don't double dip.

Had a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. The lady said she had a new way of doing acrylic…read morenails, and it would be better for my nails and look more natural. Both services were rushed, and cost $165. When I got home I realized they caused an open blister to my toe. I left for vacation the next day, and the blister was painful the entire time we were gone. To make matters even worse, I also lost six of the acrylic before we made it back home. I've never had that happen. I definitely didn't get what I paid for, and will never return to their business.

I read the reviews on Snow Nails and I told her we had to try it. The first visit, was great. My girl Anna, asked me if this was our first time there and I told her that it was. She then told me that it was her first day too, and asked if that made me nervous. I told her, that it didn't and you have to start somewhere. She asked me if I'd like something to drink, and then she started the work on my nails. I'm thinking the whole time that she's new... and holy wow, she was doing an amazing job. She teased me, at the end telling me that she had actually been there for a long time. I laughed and told her I was thinking that, for her first time, she did a freaking amazing job! After she was finished she massaged my arms and hands, and put a smelly good lotion on to finish up. We have been going back here every few weeks and my nails still look fantastic even by the middle of the 3rd week. I just get them done by then because they have grown out so much! I have been to 3 different people and so has my mom. EVERYONE here is fantastic. We have had a wait a couple of times, but if you put your name down in the book, you can always go wander around. When you come back your place is still saved in line. You can call and make an appointment too if you need t get in and out. Next week we are trying out our first pedicure! I can't wait!
